How to apply license for SSM 7.5 & Netweaver CE 7.1?
My application server java in SAPMMC: appear message: no valid license found.
Acually we already bought license and download,
So, how to solve this license problem?

When your NetWeaver license expires, it can be restarted, but will only run for 1/2 hour, to allow installing a new license.
Step 1- Start NetWeaver CE from the control console
Step 2 - Log on to NetWeaver Administrator http:///[server]:50000/nwa and go to Configuration tab then Infrastructure sub-tab, then Licenses
Step 3 - Make note of your System Number and Active Hardware Key in the System Parameters section
Step 4 - Navigate to the Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com/licensekey
Step 5 - You are looking for SAP Business Suite - SAP Products with ABAP Stack, Without ABAP stack (WEB AS Java-J2EE Engine) SAP Enterprise Portal link
Step 6 - Fill in your Hardware Key and System # - Make sure you choose this License Type: J2EE Engine - Web Application Server Java (it is not the default selection)
Step 7 - A message at the bottom of the page will note a new key has been generated and you can Download the txt file needed (you also receive an email with the info as well)
Step 8 - (Restart NetWeaver CE - if its timed-out) On the Licenses page of nwa click Install from File > Browse to the txt doc you downloaded and ADD
You now have the new license install. Make note of the date to schedule the time for any future updates, so that service is not interrupted.
If you cannot access the license key on the Service Marketplace you will need to contact your SAP account representative.

To install license of the J2EE Engine :
In the Visual Administrator -> Server 0 -> Services -> Licensing Adapter. Then choose tab page Runtime -> Installed Licenses and Install subsequent temporary license.

How to generate license for AIP-SSM without PAK-number?

Hello! I’m sorry for my English. I have a problem with generating license for AIP-SSM. My contract with SMARTnet service is activated, but I don’t have a PAK-number. How I can generate a license for updating my module?

Alternatively you can always write an email to [email protected] with your serial number and they should be able to provide you the license for any cisco device.

We had previously installed a trial version of SUP 2.0 on a windows server 2003 version 64 bit system. Since it was only a trial version, it expired and now we have obtained a license for the same.
How do I use the same installation by updating the license? Is it possible or I have to uninstall the whole thing and install from scratch?

To apply license to any version follow these steps
1. Down load the license from Sybase control centre, and download the Licence file, copy and paste
\\sybase\unwiredplatform\servers\unwired servers\ (paste the file) (licence)
Run cmd promt >sybase\unwired platform\server\inwired servers\bin licence.bat ED DT 20
( as per the licence agreement)

Apply Licensing for 5508 HA

Hi All,
I have 2 5508, 5508-A has 500 permanent licenses and 5508-B 200 evaluation licenses, I'm setting up location awareness by adding 180 APs
to 5508-B and then migrating APs on 5508-A to 5508-B and then setting up HA. It is being done this way to avoid disruption to production setup whilst testing, in total I will have 300 APs.
I just need clarification on a couple of points.
1. can I apply additional eval licenses to 5508-B so it supports 300 APs
2. If I apply the HA license to 5508-A, will it push the permanent license count to 5508-B and become standby or will the configuration
on 5508-B be pushed to 5508-A and the APs disconnect from 5508-B and move to 5508-A and 5508-A is primary whilst 5508-B remains secondary.
3. In the event of failover will this be transparent to the MSE and Prime 1.3
I have read the High Availability (AP SSO) Deployment Guide, and wonder if I'm making it to complicated in terms of migrating APs
between controllers and should just work on the production controller, but be careful whilst doing it.

Well I don't know if this migration will be transparent. The license for an HA sku WLC is 500 which is the max, but the real license count depends on the primary WLC. The HA WLC just needs a 50 ap license to perform the HA role. I don't really think you should use eval license for HA as you will have to disable AP SSO in order to add a true license and then enable AP SSO. This might become an issue if when you disable AP SSO, your wireless goes down. HA AP SSO hasn't been very stable and that's why there is always risk in doing what you want to do.

How to switch licensed for "ADOBE DESIGN STANDARD" from iMac to Macbook Pro?

I am currently licensed for "ADOBE DESIGN STANDARD" on an iMac. I have a new MacBook Pro and want to use that instead of the iMac. Do i need to get a new license key? or ??
I know i can download an "eval" copy on the laptop, but how do i switch license keys? i'm not even sure i still have the (valid) license key for the iMac...can i request another??

As long as you are staying within the same general platform (PC vs Mac) you do not need to change licensing. You are allowed to have two activated installations with your license, so you should be able to install on the new machine without having to worry about the older one at all (unless you ever want to free up the second activation for yet another machine). As you mentioned, you can download the trial version and use the serial number from your purchase to activate it to full use.
If you registered your software with Adobe, the serial number should be available via your Adobe account online. If you didn't register it then you will at least understand why it pays to do so.

my requirement: i need to implement some logic which should effect only 3 countries out of 6 countries.
now i implemented my logic but the thing is how to restric only for 3 countries?
do i need to write the condition in program line like:

License for SAP Portal (SAP NetWeaver 7.0)

We successfully installed SAP NEtWeaver 7.0 with SAP XI/PI and applied a permanent license for this system.
Furthermore the SAP EP has been also been installed with other SID.
Do we need for SAP EP also to order a second license because the current temporary license is only 30 days valid?

CON-SU1-AS2A10K9 contract if for ASA+IPS bundle. If AIP-SSM-10 ws purchased as a spare the contract would be CON-SU1-ASIP10K9.
I am not sure whether or not this Cisco Service for IPS contract can be used to cover just the AIP-SSM-10 if it was purchased as part of a Bundle instead of a Spare.
I would recommend that you check with your Cisco reseller or Cisco Sales Representative.

How to Apply Databank for 2 or more than 2 fields?

Suppose on a form we have 2 fields like First name and Last name . So in .csv file I have given like First Name,Last Name (comma separated) and my databank file gets created.
But before playing back the application , how can i attach the databank(.csv file) for 2 different script nodes in Tree View?
If i try to substitue variable , where i have to apply databank then at the time of applying to First Name field it fetches the value for both of the fields value i.e First Name, Last Name
So at the time of playback the application for First Name field it will fetch the value for both First name, Last Name.

1. First of all i Configure the databank file as:

How to apply metrics for different platform

Hi,
If a metric has different code for different platform, or the metric only runs on some specific type of system, how can we apply it to a group of hosts?
For example, I have a metric that checks only Sun T3 types of systems. I can create a group of hosts that are T3 type system, but how do I apply the metric to this group?
The other example is the way to collect data is different for Soaris and Linux platform, can I have 2 metrics, one apply to the group of Solaris machines, and the other apply to the group of Linux machines?

You can use EM groups and monitoring templates to accomplish what you want to do. For example, create a group for Solaris hosts and a template to push out appropriate metric settings for the group.

How to install license for Weblogic Server 6.1

I downloaded WebLogic Server 6.1, it works fine.
but I want to change the JDBC to Oracle (the default is Cloudscape). I follow the
instructions in page "Installing WebLogic jDriver for Oracle". it looks fine until
"java utils.dbping ORACLE james 1234 DBServer"
it says: Missing license file for: Weblogic Server 6.1.
I found the licese.bea is in c:\bea, I use "updatelicense.cmd" to do it several times,
it still doesn't work.
I am using Win2k and Oracle 8.1.7

Give the keyword for Adobe License as BC-SRV-FP
and search.
in message type your request for Permanent License to SAP.
They will provide reply with Some File and password.
