I have created a status profile for the particulat sales order type so that a particular user can confirm the sales order and the pass it,so that further changes can be avoided.The profile has been assigned to Item category also.
Now My problem is ,How to assign the status profile to that particular user..?
so that only the user is allowed to change the order.

Maintain authorization key (authorization code) in status profile.
We do not assign directly to user. We assign to role E.g sales manager / sales employee etc...
We assign T.codes to role and assign role to user.
Goto Role T.code PFCG. Enter role and click on change button.Goto Authorizations tab.
Click on authorization data .
Expand the Cross-application Authorization Objects tree. Expand Status Management: Set/Delete User Status using Transaction.
Click on Authorization key button, assign Authorization key.
Click on status profile. assign status profile.

I can easily get the intersection of two array list which containing some simple class(Integer, String). But how to get the intersection of two arrayList which contain user defined object?

i am a newbie in EJB. i have the following simple problem:
public interface MyApp extends EJBObject
public String getResult() throws RemoteException;
}the above code will be ok because it is returning String object.
however, i need to return a user defined object like:
public interface MyApp extends EJBObject
public MyResult getResult() throws RemoteException;
}then i got java.lang.ClassCastException during runtime.
please tell me how to resolve this problem.

I want to pass multiple query string values using the same parameter in Query String (URL) Filter Web Part like mentioned below:
http://server/pages/Default.aspx?Title=Arup&Title=Ratan
But it always return those items whose "Title" value is "Arup". It is not returned any items whose "Title" is "Ratan".
I have followed the

Hi DH, sorry for not being clear.
It works when I create the connection from that web part that you want to be connected with the Query String Filter Web part. So let's say you created a web part page. Then you could connect a parameterized Excel Workbook to an Excel Web Access Web Part
(or a Performance Point Dashboard etc.) and you insert it into your page and add
a Query String Filter Web Part . Then you can connect them by editing the Query String Filter Web Part but also by editing the Excel Web Access Web Part. And only when I created from the latter it worked

Considering my little knowledge that i have of BI 7, I just want to confirm is this the way to assign a query to a role.
On the main menu of the query designer at the top left we have query-->Publish--->to Role and subsequently assigning the query to the specific role required and similar steps are followed to assign the template to the same role as well...kindly confirm this.........as i guess it is important to assign the query and the template to a the correct role so as to get the correct data.As our query is created for the manager role....points will be given

Hi Sunita,
You can go to transaction KE4R. For menu, go to IMG, PA and then valuation, Set up valuation using Material Cost estimate and there you will find 'Assign Vlaue fields'.

I am using OIM 11.1.1.5.
I have a user defined field called Unique-Customer-Number. This field need to be pre-populated during user creation (using OIM Web UI) and the value comes from a java code.

I'm calling a stateful webservice from a BPEL process using a PartnerLink which implements Custom Header Handler classes to handle the session state, storing the cookie as a property of the PartnerLink.
I'd also like to call this same stateful webservice, in the same session, from a user-defined XPath function enabling me to call this from an XSL Transformation.
Is this in any way possible? Can I access the cookie and attach it to the webservice call made by the user-defined XPath function?

Actually, as long as the servlet returns valid javascript, you can indeed "call it" from the client. It will initiate a request and return the result to the browser.
This example uses Perl, but it could be easily modified to go to a servlet instead.
Note that it is only supported in DOM browsers (IE6+/NN6+/etc)

How to deploy jar file for use within mapping user-defined fcn

I have a java class I'd like to called from a mapping user-defined function.
Here's what I've done (but hasn't worked)
1. Added 'package com.<mycompany>.xi.util.base64 to the source class file and compiled it.
2. Created a sda with a plain provider.xml file, i.e. no references were made to any other library files.
3. Deployed the sda to the xi 3.0 j2ee server successfully using SDM.
4. Under the Visual Admin tool, I see that the library was deployed successfully.
5. In the import text box in the user-defined function (design time), I enter com.<mycompany>.xi.util.base64.*.
A syntax check returns an error indicating the package could not be found.
Can anyone give me pointers as to how I can get this working?

No! That's not the right way!
What you have done is for accessing external JMS & JDBC drivers in their corresponding adapters. For the access inside a mapping user defined function, it's enough if you import the jar files.

If you have an UDO in your form, or any other, the FormDataLoad eventhandler should be used.
Take care, it is not inside the eventhandler.
for VB:
