How to backup whole Univers and CR reports and WEBI reports through BOE

Hi All,
For now, my BOE is BO XI Release2. Could you please help me to tell me how to backup Univers and Reports (CR and Web) through BOE?

Hi Liu,
You could take a backup of all your reports and universes in a BIAR file through Import Wizard tool. In Source, select your BOE XI R2 system and destination as BIAR file >> select the componenets that you want to take a backup of and import it.

Hi,
The functionality of the mute button is provided by the IDT Audio software so the problem may be that Windows 8 has installed a reference driver that does not contain this. Often, the Windows 7 version works Ok, so I'd try downloading and installing the following IDT driver.

After the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

How to backup a MacBookPro and a Powerbook on the same external HD

I bought a 500GB LaCie FW800 external HD for making bootable backup of my MBP C2D and Powerbook Alu.
My idea was to create three partions - 120 GB for the MBP, 120 for the PB and 260 GB for the iTunes libraries and iPoto libraries of both portables.
I discover the different formatting needs requested for a bootable backup for Intel Macs and PowerPC Macs via Disk Utility cannot let me go ahead, and only one of the backup can be bootable at the end.
Is there some way to find a solution to this?

for web.xml you need something like this, i took this from the web.xml under the examples directory in tomcat:

basically you need to map the servlet with a class, for servlet-name call it whatever you like, you'll be using this name in the url to access you servlet, for the class give it the name of the class, java complied class, that's it.
server.xml is used to configure tomcat.

How to turn off email and web site links?

I'm making my own letterhead template for my massage business.
I want to turn off the automatic linking to my email address and web site which are both included on my letterhead. It's just annoying that every time I accidentally click on either of those I'm taken to my web site or my computer is trying to email me!
I only snail mail my letterhead and have no use for the linking. I can change the type format so it looks like the rest of the letterhead, but I can't turn off the linking.

There is an option under Preferences > Auto-Correction to "Automatically detect email and web addresses." You want that one unchecked. There is also a link inspector, second from the right, with options to enable hyperlinks or make all hyperlinks inactive. Seems contradictory to me & I've found that if a document already has some linked text, changing these preferences doesn't change the existing links. And, if you paste in something with a link the link will still be active.

I wrote a program with dynpro (no web dynpro), modules and includes. I would like to save these objects. How to do this? I don't want to transport them to another system directly, but save them as file so that I have a backup.
I figure out that I have to use another ABAP program for doing this, but couldn't find a working link to such a backup program.

Hello to all,
I'm a Student of Informatic Engineering studiying at UCAB in Venezuela.
I have a Macbook Pro 13" late 2011 and needed of windows and ubuntu because some projects at University needed to be developed in those OS. I did the Bootcamp to add Windows to my MacBook Pro, and did an extra partition to the Macintosh HD to install the Ubuntu. All Sucess and finished the semester. Now i dont need these OS no more because i won an Acer and now i have Windows and Ubuntu in that laptop so i want my Mac only with OSX. Besides now the OSX is startint to act funny, so i think its about the triple partition (and i dont like my apps in OSX closing for no reason, and the system is getting a bit slow).
So, my question is:
1.- How do i Backup my Macintosh HD so i dont lose all my installed apps and data.
2.- Can i use Time Machine on any External Hard Drive?
3.- How do i clear all my hd so its like brand new, and Reinstall Lion (because when i bought the Mac it didnt came with an OS CD)

1. Use Time Machine - it's on your Mac.
2. Yes - if the external has enough space.
3. After you back up, use the steps described in this Macworld article to make a clean install of OS X. Basically you reboot while holding down the command and R keys and proceed from there.

How to backup a PC and a Mac to time capsule

I want to purchase a 3TB airport time capsule, but how do i set it up to back up both my PC and my Mac computers? and can my college student also back up or save her data remotely from her location to our home network?

You can backup a PC to the TC.. but if the PC runs home version software you will need a backup software that can handle network drives.. MSBackup cannot do it.
Macs of course are pretty well automatic.. Time Machine will in theory at least find the TC no problems.
Remote backup is a bad idea. Use a small 2.5" USB drive.. and then backup during visits home. The problem with remote backup is that any disconnection will corrupt the backup.. and disconnection is another name for the internet.. if it doesn't happen today it will tomorrow or the day after.

I'd like to know how to backup my browsing and download history.

Title says it all. I want to backup my browsing history and my download list (ctrl+j). I have already backed up my bookmarks and don't care about other stuff.

That should be downloads.sqlite for the download history (Firefox 2 used downloads.rdf).
