How to call a WD JAVA application from a WD ABAP application

Hi experts,
Here I have two applications with me. One has been created through WebDynpro ABAP while the other one has been created through WebDynpro JAVA. Now i have to call upon the JAVA aplication from my ABAp application. In other words in need to integrate both the applications so as to have an easy navigation in between them.
In the whole process I need to take care that the data is not lost from both ABAP or JAVA side.
Please help me someone knows the solution.

Hi,
Usally to run WebDynpro for Java Application, we get the Application URL.
If you want to call this WebDynpro Java Application from Webdynpro Abap, then create UI element like Link to Action or LinktoURL and give the url as WebDynpro for Java URL.

if you have jco configured, then you can make calls to java api from ABAP .

Calling Custom XSLT java class from BPEL in SOA Suite 11g

Hi All,
Morning...need some help with this issue...we are currently on SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.4) version.
Earlier while we were on SOA Suite version 10g (10.1.3.3) we were calling the custom java classes from the xsl mapping for complex transformation and for this we were placing the .class file as .jar file at the location mentioned here $OC4J_HOME/j2ee/home/applib directory and then mentioning the namespace as http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/{$classname$} in the XSLT mapping file.
Now in SOA Suite 11g if we need to retain similar functionality for external custom java calls could someone please help us where do we need to put the .jar file now ..
exactly at which directory location/path and on which instance/server (application server instance or middle tier instance ) we need to put this .jar file
Currently we are stuck and need some help with this.

Now could someone please guide us regards this ANT means how does it work and its relation to the build.xml file and how do we check whether we have ANT utility available or not..

it is not clear to me if you are having problems with calling java code from OIM or if the problem is the web service API.
Lets do some divide and conquer:
Can you create a simple java class that just writes a couple of lines to the log? Please attach this code to the OIM task and make sure it runs.
Once this works we can start looking at the web service call.

How can we call it using Absolute navigation or Relative Navigation.

If you want to call the main() method of another class, just make sure the class is in your classpath and call the method. If you want to start up a separate JVM with that class as a process, use Runtime.exec() or similar method.

We have a Connector deployed on the WebAS 6.40. From an EJB (Webservice) it is possible to lookup the connector, but if i try to lookup the connector from a custom LoginModule, i get the following error:
Path to object does not exist at java:comp, the whole lookup name is java:comp/env/eis/SAPJRA_CRMDC.#
The whole lookup in LoginModule looks

Give some idea for the below scenario:
I ve created a simple web service and consumed it in a model. What I did was
1) for the input parameters, mapped the node from view->custom controller->model
2)for the output parameter, mapping from model->custom controller->view.
It works fine.
But I don't want to access model nodes directly, rather I want to set the input param in somewhere else (like custom controller) before calling the appropriate method, same for the response also.
Share me your thoughts.

Well, I think you can go for Portal Navigation concept.
Please check the required source code in WDR_TEST_PORTAL_NAV Web Dynpro component. That will illustrate both Page based Navigation and Object based Navigation.

First of all you should create outbound plug in the window you are trying to exit with plufg type "Exit"
Then create method handler in the view with this code

        <fs> = 'X'.

      You can easily change this logic to exit application instead of redirecting to the site
       just changing to

Yes we can access the classes of JAVA in ABP.
This is posible from version ECC 6 onward with NETWEAVER atrhcitecuture.
