Hi Amey,
You can achieve this using the followin 2 Step implementation:
1. [Creating a Deployable Proxy|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/2d/b9766df88f4a24967dae38cb672fe1/frameset.htm]
2. [Create a Client Bean|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/45/029840cf43495195da923f32262911/frameset.htm]
Hope it helps.

Does any one have insights about it?Hi Swapna,
from your screenshot it seems that you actually try to call the service in your Data Source Expression field. You should set path to the WSDL file here actually - this could be either URL to SAP or to filesystem, as Anton suggested (this could be faster). Have you created endpoint binding for your service in transaction SOAMANAGER? If yes, then simply download the corresponding WSDL with binding or copy the URL which leads to it. But also test whether you are able to retrieve the WSDL without logging into SAP (close all browser windows and then open a new one otherwise session ID from other browser windows can be reused).
If you have to give username and password, then setup anonymous alias in transaction SICF, for example.
Pleas, check my previous post on the same subject here: Re: BCM7 IVR : SOAP request for client identification in CRM .
Maybe it could help.

How to call a web Service from Oracle Applications?
Hi friends,
I've posted this question on OA Framework forum , but may be it's more appropiated put it here. Sorry for do it again:
It's about how to call a web service from a Form or a .sql (via Request) in Oracle Applications:
Could you please explain here the detailed steps (with code example if it's possible) to invoke a webservice from Oracle Applications?.. how did yo do it...?
I've read differents posts here and the 33097.1 metalink note (by the way, the first recommended link in this note is broken...), but there are lots of theorical concepts and no real examples to see how/from where invoke the WS
I'll have to call one webservice (I suppose the customer will give me the interface implementation)...but I've never did it with Applications so that's why I ask you for all the detailed steps...
I work with Forms 6i, Apps 11.5.10.2 and DB 9.2.0.7.
Thanks a lot.
Jose.Hello Jose,
I did using java program to call BPEL web services in 11.5.10.
I pasted below the metalink note for your reference (Note:250964.1)
The idea is first write a java program to call the webservice (in my case it is calling an BPEL web service, so this may not help directly), test it.
Then port the java program as specified in the note, so that you could call your web service through concurrent manager scheduler.
Is this ok?
Thanks
Arun.

How to register and create a Java concurrent program for Oracle Applications
Release 11i
Solution
========
1. Create your Java Concurrent Program (JCP) , using a text editor.
/*===========================================================================+
Concurrent Processing Sample Code

FILENAME
Hello.java

DESCRIPTION
Sample Java concurrent program
About the simplest possible program, just writes a message to the
logfile and output file.

HISTORY
$Log$

+===========================================================================*/
package oracle.apps.fnd.cp.sample;
import oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.*;
public class Hello implements JavaConcurrentProgram {
public static final String RCS_ID = "$Header$";
public void runProgram(CpContext ctx) {
ctx.getLogFile().writeln("-- Hello World! --", 0);
ctx.getOutFile().writeln("-- Hello World! --");
ctx.getReqCompletion().setCompletion(ReqCompletion.NORMAL, "");
=======================================
End Sample
=======================================
2. Create a sample directory under $JAVA_TOP:
$ mkdir $JAVA_TOPoracle/apps/fnd/cp/sample
3. Copy Hello.java into $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd/cp/sample:
$ cp $HOME/Hello.java $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd/cp/sample
4. Compile your java program:
javac $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd/cp/sample/Hello.java
5. Test at the command line with following syntax:
jre -Ddbcfile=$FND_TOP/secure/your_dbc_file.dbc \
-Drequest.outfile=./outfile \
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.request.Run \
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.sample.Hello
6. Register your custom java concurrent program with Oracle Applications.
a. Navigate: Concurrent > Program > Executable
b. Enter details into the form
Executable: JCPHELLO
Shortname: JCPHELLO
Application: Application Object Library
Execution Method: Java Concurrent Program
Execution File Name: Hello (Insert a name that does not contain space or period)

Web Service from stateful Session Bean deleted after server restart
Hi,
i created a stateful session bean and from this a web service.
I am able to deploy it and it works really fine.
My problem is: after a server restart the web service is gone and i
have to deploy it again.
I have some other web services (but these are web services from stateless session beans)
but they "survive" the server restart.
I don't want to deploy the web service after every server restart, did I forget something or
is it a general problem of stateful session beans or web services?
Thanks in advance
JensHello Björn,
I am not quite sure what your problem is but did you have a look at these articles:

How to call a web service from BPEL that requires HTTP basic authentication
Hi All,
I need to calling some Web Services from BPEL (SOA 10.1.3.1 production running on XP machine). The services require HTTP basic authentication.
I have tried adding httpUsername and httpPassword properties to the ParnterLink, and I see in BPEL Console that they are deployed by checking the descriptor page. But I still get a SOAP fault, HTTP 401: Unathenticated.
I have also tried using basicHeaders (from memory) = credentials, httpBasicUsername, and httpBasicPassword. Same result.
I have done a packet trace using Ethereal, and the headers do not seem to contain the userid and password at all.
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Mark NelsonThanks Bas,
I have resolved the issue. The provider of the Web Service had not configured if for Basic Authentication. For some reason it worked when they tested, or maybe the did not test. The only thing I had to change was to use:
<property name="basicHeaders">credentials</property>
<property name="basicUsername">WMDATA</property>
<property name="basicPassword">WMDATA</property>
Instead of:
<property name="httpUsername">WMDATA</property>
<property name="httpPassword">WMDATA</property>
I don’t know why this is, maybe because it is an Axis Web Service.
Sorry for wasting your time.

Calling an external web service from a session bean
We're integrating our Weblogic EJB application with a third party JBoss-based product that exposes a web service API. I thought that Weblogic should have all of the libraries available that I would need in order to make this connection. However, when I bundle the web service client jar and attempt to call the web service from within Weblogic, I get:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/xml/rpc/client/BasicService
If I bundle jaxrpc-api, jaxrpc-impl, and jaxrpc-spi in the EAR, I instead get:
java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError at com.sun.xml.rpc.streaming.XmlTreeWriter.addNewNode(XmlTreeWriter.java:102)
...which isn't any better, and makes me think there's a competing jaxrpc somewhere.
What am I doing wrong?Hello,
Can you indicate the classpath that you use to run your client, version of weblogic and the version of jaxrpc api that you are using.
As a quick experiment adding the jaxrpc jar files to your classpath one at a time.
This [url http://www.javaworld.com/javaforums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Enterprisejava&Number=3801&page=12&view=collapsed&sb=9&o=&fpart=1]chap seemed to have a similar problem to you and solved it by adding the jaxprc-spi jar file to his class path. It may be that the jaxrpc-impl is causing you greif.

How to call "https" web service from Oracle without certification.
The reuirement is to call a secured web service (*https web service*) from Oracle9i without involving any additional cost.
Initialy I tried with UTL_HTTP package but in vain as it is needed some certification. As per the requirement no additional cost should be involved with the implementation.
So is there any way to achieve the above mentioned problem?
Please let me know the responses with the sample code/steps.Please try not to double post. You have the ability to edit your original thread.
Oh, BTW, try searching the forum. A quick search turned up this: HTTPS request signed by client certificate from PL/SQL procedure
Check that out and maybe that will solve your problems.

How to call restful web services from BPEL
How do we call create partnerlinks for calling RESTful web services in Oracle BPEL.
Any ideas ?Raymond,
1. To consume WebService in Flex you don't need FDS at all.
2. AFAIK, you need crossdomain.xml at WS host or System.allowDomain("ws-host") or System.allowInsecureDomain("ws-host") on Flex side. Check Flex documentation.
3. Better to discuss this topic in some other forum -- say WebAS General. It's not related to WD

Change the Import Classes field to java.lang.Exception and press Import. This will create a PL/SQL package for the Exception Java class. While this is not essential, it does make error reporting easier. Now press Close to dismiss the dialog. -

This documents explains how to use an EJB as Web service endpoint: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/46/307a6c50094f09e10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm
I hope this helps.

Calling a Web Service from Java Webdynpro
Hi,
Can any one give me step by setp details on how to call a Web Service from Java Webdynpro ?
I tried creating a model using Import Web Service Model but when I completed creating the model, I got some errors as shown below.
Error The method setRouteGeometryLineArray(double[][]) in the type Trip is not applicable for the arguments (double[]) ComplexType_Trip.java WS_INVOKE/gen_wdp/packages/com/cintas/test/model/p1 line 249
thanks
SBKHi SBK,
I assume you may already have read the [help guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/81/12703e5da3e946e10000000a114084/content.htm] This gives a pretty good idea of how to do it (step by step).
Is there a typo in the error you pasted?
Error The method setRouteGeometryLineArray(double][) in the type Trip is not applicable for the arguments (double[]) ComplexType_Trip.java WS_INVOKE/gen_wdp/packages/com/cintas/test/model/p1 line 249
The square brackets [] after double in the method call appear to be reversed. Is that also in the code? or just a mistake here?
Hope this points you in the right direction.

Best way to call web service from Message Driven Bean
I'm q'ing msgs up and would like to use a message driven bean to forward them to
an external web service. Weblogic workshop does not seem to support web service
controls in an EJB project. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
PaulPaul,
A non-trivial alternative, since you have the WSDL, would be to forget about trying
to use generated client code and just use JAX-RPC dynamic invocation instead.
That's how I call external web services from within an EJB in situations in which
generated client code cannot be incorporated prior to deployment. Minimally all
that is required is the WSDL and the service name, port name, and operation name,
although if non-builtin parameter types are used then you will have to manipulate
the service's type mapping registry.

I've taken our wsdl and generated a web service in Workshop 8.1 using
XMLBeans.
This produces a web page that contains a link"Java Proxy" for downloading
generated
client code. I assume this is the same as clientgen. It's interesting
that
it does not
use XMLBeans like the web service that generated it. It uses a different
serialization
method.
I've used this generated code to call the web service. Although the
client seems
to run
successfully to completion, I get the following error in the weblogic
server console:
<Sep 29, 2003 7:46:24 AM EDT> <Error> <WLW> <000000> <Failure=com.bea.wlw.runtim

Hi Paul,
Could you not first use clientgen on the external webservice, then take
the stubs it created, then add these to your code along with the
onMessage(Message msg) and roll it into the MBean?
We don't have exactly that example, but you might take a look at this
one to get some ideas:
http://webservice.bea.com/message.zip
Hope this helps,

Bruce,
Don't think this will work for us. We are receiving data internallythrough
a JMS queue. We need to pull it off the queue (MDB), massage it alittle and
send it to an external web service. The link you sent me was howto implement
a web service with JMS.
I started out by trying to use the Web Service and JMS controls butit doesn't
seem like I can use a JMS control because that requires a conversationID,
which we don't have because nothing is comming in through a web services.

Hi Paul,
There is a chapter in the docs on this. See if this helps,
