How to call View of Component B in WINDOW of Component A .

Hi Experts,
I have 4 different webdynpro Component. On the button click of first component view, I want second component view should be open in same exiting WINDOW, and same when button click from view of second component, 3rd component view should be open . I want all 4 component should be opened in ONE WINDOW ONLY .
Now I am using URL of component to open next component but this is opening seperate window.
So please guide me how to open different different webdynpro component in ONE WINDOW.

Why did you create 4 views in 4 different components when you want to use all of them in a single window?
You could have created all 4 views in a single component.
Answer to your query:
Define the usage of components 2, 3 & 4 in component 1
Add the interface views of components 2, 3 & 4 in window of Comp_1
Create inbound and outbound plugs for the interface views and windows of components 2, 3 & 4 . Use these plugs to create navigation links in Window of comp_1.
Use the outbound plugs of windows to navigate btw views(From view call a method in window controller which will fire the outbound plugs).

I was able to find the navigatiion tab, But after entering the The Form name in that TAB, Still the New Page opens in ths SAME window.
Following is the Code written on the Eevent--> OnInputProcessing
navigation->next_page( 'NEXT' ).
In the Navigation TAB
Start Navigation Request Target
Sales_Person.htm NEXT index.htm

Yeah view cannot be called independently.
Here in the above post i am just saying call the interface view.
which will call the window and first view will be called.
in the wddoinit of the first view . we will check the interface node and if a particular attribute is set.
that means call is coming from the comp B then you can fire the plug to next view.
this will take the user directly to second view.
but the flow logic then will be as per by comp A only.
means after view 2 it will go to view 3 like that as you have defined in comp A.
so you cannot use it as an independent reusable entity.

How to call view-controller method out of componentcontroller

Hello all,
my component implements a component-interface with method BACK.
Thus my componentcontroller has the interface Method BACK.
When triggering BACK from an foreign component, the implementation within the componentcontroller is called. So far so good.
Now I want to POPUP_AND_CONFIRM when BACK is hit. But this POPUP_TO_CONFIRM requires me to create an action. But I can't create an action within the componentcontroller.
I could realize the POPUP_AND_CONFIRM within the components view. But how can I call a view-method out of the componentcontroller?
Or does anybody have a better solution? (Maybe I could implement BACK within the view, but how to connect the componentcontroller-back-method with the views back-method?)

You should never attempt to call view methods from outside the view. It is possible to register popop event handlers to methods of the component or custom controllers. From the online help:
For a few special cases it is useful to register event handlers for component controllers or custom controllers on the button events of a dialog box. For these cases, a special POPUP_TO_CONFIRM attribute of type IF_WD_POPUP_TO_CONFIRM_N has been implemented in the IF_WD_WINDOW interface. This interface provides precisely the methods with which event handlers for component and custom controllers can be registered on events of the dialog box.

How to call view from Diffrent Components

Hi Experts,
In my application 5 component(comp1,comp2,comp3,comp4,comp5) under one DC.
In Comp1-> View1 have a drop down to select business operations, View Container with empty view while starting.
Ex: one,two, three, four list of values in drop down.
If i select Two from drop down, it should display view from comp2->View1 in ViewContainer.
Like this it should display view from diffrent component in comp1->View1 (Inter Componet Communication).
This application developing in CE 7.1 & NWDS 7.1 not in 2004s..
Please any one help me to do this requirement .....

Hi,
The simplest solution in this case is to create another DC component.
This will have a single window with (a) ViewSet Container(s). Then you will have to create a window per view in your first DC Component.
After this - you will need to add the first DC component to the second DC component (under used DC Components). This is done by first creating public parts of the first DC and adding to the second, following which you need to right click "Used DC components" in the second DC and select the first. You may need to do this multiple times for different windows.
After this - in your second DC you will need to embed the Component Interface views of each of the windows to the View Set Containers (as created previously).
Next you will need to write some code in the onSelect Action for the DropDown that will manage the visibility of the different views.

I do have Apple Remote Desktop; however, if I stand correctly, but it can only be used from Mac to Mac. So that would not be of any help. Thank you in advance.

I've used an app called "RealVNC" for windows, you can Google it to find the download. Theres a free version that works just fine.
On the Mac end you have to go into System Preferences > Sharing > Remote Access (not in front of my mac, could be wrong on the "Remote Access" name)
Turn on Remote Access and theres a checkmark in there to allow you to set a password for VNC access.
That should be it.

What happens when you try to view a pdf file on Safari? In my experience Safari has never worked well in Windows. Use a browser you know works.

Hi Wojciech,
as already said by Gopi, the methods of the view should not be called outside the view! Of course you could store a reference to the view inside the comp_controller, but the right way is to inform the the views in case of changes! Just use events to notify view about changes and trigger changes inside the event-handler (which are inside the views).

Yes I have created a new agreement with Check ISA13 enabled.
Yes i have placed the custom component(replace ISA08) in the Decode stage, then i used the builtin EDIDisassembler in the Disassembler stage, It is working fine. But i don't want to disassemble the message. Just required to validate the Party with its agreement.
And let it get streamed to next stage.

I have a custom form in which i am running a concurrent program using FND_REQUEST.SUBMIT_REQUEST. after I submit the request, I manually go to the view -> requests -> viewoutput to see the report output. Is there any function which can be used in the form to skip this manual step and go directly to the view requests screen?

You can use fnd_function.execute to open any form from another form. For instance, using fnd_function.execute('FND_FNDCPQCR') should open the Requests form. You can play with the parameters of the form (or use a different function) until you get what you actually need.

i hav one.mxml file which consist of getData() method
and two.mxml which is popup window having one button i want to call getData() method on button click.

Usually you would dispatch an event and parents will listen for certain events.
If you are dispatching an event yourself, you can set it to bubble up all the way so whoever is interested will act upon.
In your case, the button click will generate MouseEvent with type of MouseEvent.CLICK.
All you need to do is listen for it.
