How to cancel email advice of every event change on a shared calendar?

Since I migrated to iCloud and re-shared my calendars, my wife gets an email every time I add, delete, or modify an event in a shared calendar. I can't find the setting to shut this off. Where do I look?

as far as i understand iCal it is on the "receivers/subscribers" side to deal with email-updates (and not on the "senders/changers" side):

to NOT get email notification about updated events from a shared calendar you subscribed to you have to uncheck "events affect availability" in that calendars "info" (mac os X.7 and X.8: iCal —> calendars dropdown —> right click on the subscribed calendar —> choose "get info" from the context-menu —> uncheck "events affect availability")

How to cancel email notifications in ical?

Please help.
I share a work calendar with a colleague via ical and syncing via mobile me.
When I as the "owner" of the calendar send or update an event in ical my colleague recieves an email notification.
I update the calendar many times each day and each time an email notification is recieved by my colleague in mac mail....this is proving very boring and unnecessary and meaning he is getting more than 50 emails a day referring to our shared calendar .
Is there any way to cancel these email notifications as we always have our calendars open and can see the updates / changes?

We've activated workflow template WS28700001 so that email notification can be triggered when task release. Meanwhile we are using snapshot and simulation at the same time. But when saving sanpshot or simulation the tasks which have status of released also trigger email nofitication. How to cancel this notification of snapshot and simulation?

Event Update Notices from Shared Calendar Members

I created a calendar in iCal for my wife and me to share. I gave her both Read & Write Privileges. It works great. She was not an iCal user before and now is in love with it.
Here is my Problem:
When I add or edit an Event she gets a great email alerting her to the Event, but when she adds or edits an Event I do not receive an email alert .
Is there a way to make it so that when she adds or edits an Event I can get an email alert?

I finally figured it out.....
Open your web browser and log into www.icloud.com.
Select calendar
Your shared calendars should appear down the left hand side
Click on the green circle (calendar sharing info)
This allows you to change your notifiction settings.

After data input in a dynamic form clicks the user send mail button. Before the email submit, the user has to decide going back to the form and validate the input or continuing to submit email.
In case of going back to validate input the submission event must not solve. So, how can i implemente it in java and/or form calc script?

The most easy way to solve your problem is to add two buttons, the first should be regular button and the second is submit by e-mail one. Set the
'presence' property of the second to 'hidden' and add to it your email address. To the first button on 'click' event add the script like this

How to cancel email being recieved on blackberry

Hi,
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have broken my storm, and need to stop emails being recieved to the phone. the problem i have is that it is unlocked and being used on O2,
i haven't registered the phone to the blackberry internet service, so i assume i am going to have a problem getting the emails to be stopped to the phone.
Has anyone got any advice on this.

Hi!
The point is to create a BIS login account -- not an @BB email address. If you create a BIS login account and associate it to your device PIN, you will then be able, from a PC/web browser, to log into that account and remove the BIS conduits that you had created on your BB.
BIS via the BIS website or BIS via the device interface (Setup > Email Settings) -- they are the same thing. It's just that, to use the BIS website, there needs to be an account created and associated to the PIN. If just using the device, there's no need for that association since the request is coming from the very device with that PIN. But, since you can't see your device screen, the only way for you to see your BIS associations is via the website...hence the need to create that account and associate it to your PIN.
Again, though...I have no idea if what you did with the desktop software accomplished this as well. I've never attempted to use that method to control my BIS conduits, so I can't say if what you already did worked or not. I'm merely suggesting that you create the BIS account so that you can validate if it worked or not...and if not, you will be able to shut it off from there.

Click on the Profile link in the top right under the search box. Now click on the "My Account" link also in the top right to bring up the User Preferences page. Select "My Watches" to list all threads that you are notified of replies for. If there is anything listed there, select them by clicking in the check-box, then click on the "X" icon to remove them.
Edit: They don't appear to be listed there anymore. You can cancel them individually. On a thread that you receive notifications on, there is a link on the right hand side to stop receiving notifications for that thread.

How do I put a newly invited event into my iCal server calendar?

We recently bought a mac-mini server which is running Snow Leopard Server for our office, and we have configured the server (using iCal Server 2) to store everybody's calendars.
Everyone is using iCal to access there calendars off the server and the basics are working ok (sharing etc).
An issue arises when someone attempts to create an event and invite another user in the office, the invitation is sent correctly but when the user receives the invitation and tries to add it to there calendar it is added to there local calendar, not the server calendar.
So my question is how do I make it so any newly added event is put into my server calendar, not one of my local calendars?

Bear with me because my system is Italian, but we'll work it out together: iCAL will provide you with myriads of calendars, even those of football team schedules in Oklahoma.
In my system, I go into iCAL, click on the menu at the top "Calendario" ("Calendar" obviously) and study the roll-down menu. I found "Trova iscrizioni" which might simply be something like "find calendars" "find entries". In any case, it is the item at the bottom of the roll-down "Calendar" menu.
Be prepared for a bit of scrolling, unless there is an index I missed.

How do I read DAQ at every state change on a quad encoder over RTSI

I have successfully routed either A or B encoder phase to the DAQ card over RTSI, but this gives you 1/4 of your encoder counts to the DAQ. Is there a way to trigger the DAQ clock with both the rising and falling edges, A and B signals so you get a DAQ reading with every encoder count?

From your explanation I am assuming that you are using an X4 encoder. Unfortunately there isn't a way to combine both Phase A and Phase B (rising and falling edges) into a DAQ scan clock without external circuitry.
However, one possibility would be to use a sort of XOR circuit to merge the two phases into one signal and then pass that signal into one of your analog input channels. You could then setup that analog input channel for windowed analog input triggering. As the TTL pulse rises through the window an AI Start Trigger pulse is generated and then another pulse is generated as it passes back down through this window. Pass the AI Start Trigger pulse into a counter setup for retriggerable single pulse generation and you will have your DAQ scan cloc
k on the output pin of the counter.
If you are just interested in counting the pulses in both Phase A and Phase B you can configure one counter to count on the rising edge and the other on the falling edge as described in the following Knowledge Base:
