How to change host name for management agent.

Hi,
I 've installed management agent for oracle, it's a part of Oracle Management Framework, but I have to change host name.
I know how to change port number, but I've no idea how to change host name.
Have you got any idea?

you can change it in System Landscape directory.
Go to the http:yourportal.com:50000/sld
then click on the Landscape and update the new host name.

Thanks for your attention for my humble problem.
I have performed Meeting Place Express configuration through the “net” command.
But now unfortunately I can't connect to meeting place through web browser. I just get blank page.
Though I can reach the server with help of ssh. I think my DNS works properly because I can resolve the ip address of cumpxvoice .uclab.com and cumpxweb. uclab.com with help of dig command.
Have you any idea?

i have installed ecc6 in my computer.But after installation is completed i want to change my computer(system) name.If i change the computer name is there any problem occur.May i change computer name after installation also.

how do i changing host name after install. it never asked me for one and now its stuck on unknown.

Your Ethernet connection and your system hostname are not going to work,
if you don't have a compatible network adapter.

we have AIA11.1.1.5.0 and O2C PIP installed.
we need to change host name used in AIA to some different value.

2) Change the hostname
3) Create a new SIA with all defaults servers using the CCM. Make sure that you instruct the CMS to use the same database connection as before. I ould advise you to change the default CMS and SIA ports.
4) Run the "Update objects" command in the CCM on the new SIA
5) Stop the old SIA and change the ports for the new SIA and the CMS to the default values (if required)
6) Remove the old SIA in the CCM
7) Go into to the CMC and try to delete any remaining servers from the old SIA.
Please note that after completing the above workflow you have to reconfigure some of the servers' settings again in the CMC

In the em console , all the urls hostnames are invalid , So the URLs are not working proerly.
ex:

How to change file names for .icc profiles in CS4?

I recently downloaded several photo paper profiles to my Mac (OS 10.5.8) and installed them in the Library > ColorSync > Profiles folder. I edited the rather cryptic file names slightly so I could better determine which paper each profile was for.
But when I check the drop-down list of profiles available in the Print dialogue for CS4, the file names are still the original ones that were initially downloaded. I rebooted my OS and relaunched PS, but no change.
Are these .icc files being kept somewhere else on my System HD by PS? Is this not a good thing to even try doing, or can I just change the .icc file names in the location that PS is accessing them? Thanks.

Thanks Chris and c. Under Description I'm presented with three Names for the profile: ASCII, UniCode and Mac Script. ASCII and Mac Script are the same name for the profile, with nothing being in the UniCode Name box. Which do I change -- both?
Am I going to screw things up in Photoshop if I change these names to something I can comprehend? Looks like I may just have to make a sticky-note list of the cryptic profile names with my own descriptive name as a reference. Thanks.

While bringing up java instance we are facing below issues
From starting framework it goes back to collecting data stack.

Hi Avadhesh,
For dual stack systems backup/restore method is not recommended procedure for DR.
As it will have hostnames from Production.
Good approach will be to have export of Production Java stack and import the same into DR OR
Have the DR system installed using virtual hostnames which are similar to Production hostname.
When DR needs to be operational enable these virtual hostnames.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

Assuming you mean the personal name associated with the account, as opposed to the login (which you can change if it's not an @icloud.com. @me.com or @mac.com address) you can change this at http://appleid.appla.com . Click on 'Manage your account' and then on 'Edit' next to 'Your name' and the name currently associated with the ID.

Changing host name of JDI server

Hi,
during installation of JDI I used ip-addresses as host names for defining the domain host, the SLD server in domain definition, the dtr server URL in track definition, the CBS server URL in track definition.
I know that one shouldn´t use ip-addresses at all but we did have some trouble with the network infrastructure (DNS-Server, ...) at the beginning and the start of the project couldn´t be delayed.
Now, for any reason, the network department gave our server a new ip-address.
I then opened the CMS configuration tool and tried to change the host names (this time not to ip-addresses because DNS-Server works properly in the meantime).
Changing domain data is no problem. But when I try to save the changes of my track(s) I get an error message that says I should contact my administrator. I am the administrator
My Questions:
How is it possible to change the host names of JDI tracks?
What is to do at client side? There are already some developers working with the dev. configurations. Is it sufficient to change the according entries in the .confdef file or do the clients have to donwload the new dev. configuration from CMS host?

it should be possible to change the host names for tracks. You can get more error message details in the trace file of the Engine. To do so connect to your engine with the J2EE Administration Tool and check the defaultTrace.trc File in the Log Viewer.
For more details how to find this trace information have look into the Change Management Server Problem Analysis Scenarios (Link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/81/4bce4016d28031e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm). In the first Scenario Incorrect Initial CMS Configuration you can also find the general information how to read and find the CMS trace files.
Please open a CSN message for the component BS-CTS-CMS if can not find the reason for the error message or if it is real problem in CMS.

Changing host name of server running SpiceWorks

I installed SpiceWorks Help Desk for a customer as a test for him to see if it would meet his needs. I installed it onto a server that was due to be commissioned for something else, and has been named accordingly.
In DNS, I created a CNAME of helpdesk which pointed to this server.
My customer has told everyone that the system is live, and they have started using it (by it's CNAME)
So my question is, can I safely rename the host from it's existing name to HELPDESK without any repercussions?
