How to Change Messages inline attribute value Dinamically

Hi
I'm using Jdev 11.3
Our requirement is if the facesmesage having onlly one message it should come like inline message
else it should come as a popup.
i tried EL for inline attribute but the problem is the method is calling only when submition

You need change the IKM. This values are hardcode in the IKM.
You can create a new IKM and the values used are a options of the IKM.

How to change set type attribute of a product

Hi ;
I created additional fields for products by using "COMM_ATTRSET". It created a table and functions but I dont know how to change this additional attributes.I cant use these attribute set functions because i dont know fragment_id yet. I think there must be a function encapsulates them.
Is there any BAPI to change set type attributes?
PS: In forums , I found an FM "COM_PRODUCT_MAINTAIN_MULT_API" but I think it hasnt been used anymore in CRM7.0

but FM 'COM_PRODUCT_UI_MAINTAIN' doesnt have any generic import parameters to send my data to it in form of newly created attribute set type table "ZPRODUCT".
I want to set some fields of ZPRODUCT and i need to send them in this structure, this table has column FRG_ID , if you set an additional parameter for the first time , it generates new GUID..I think 'COM_PRODUCT_UI_MAINTAIN' generates this GUID but i dont know how to use it.
Can you give an example about using this FM?

Failed to verify AS2 message Reason message-digest attribute value

I have scenario from AS2---->PI--
>ECC(AS2 to Proxy) .I tested in QA system successfully but messages not reached to PI system.Communcation channel montering error message is Failed to verify AS2 message. Reason: message-digest attribute value does not match calculated value (Software version: 1.0.2). This scenario working fine producation server using with receiver file adapter.After transported from QA to PROD error got occured.Please provide your inputs on this issue

I've followed all the steps in the link for the section : For a new wallet, please follow.
SSL is not used, the B2B sends to a proxy server which uses SSL to the Trading Partner.
This is a future production system; the same setup and configuration has been successfully used in development and test.
The configuration all looks the same between environments, but dev and test work while this fails.
The previous configuration did not have the TP's public cert in the wallet, so I added it according to the link.
However the same error occurs.

First, there is no need to pass in the page context to the tag. It already is present. How you get to it depends on what type of tag:

Delivery quantity must be entered for the item
Message no. VL361
Diagnosis
The delivery quantity must be greater than zero, as defined in Customizing for the item category of this delivery item.
Procedure
Enter a quantity greater than zero in delivery processing.
Should this error message appear when you are confirming a WMS transfer order that you want to close with a quantity of zero, it could be that the delivery item does not allow a quantity of zero. If necessary, ask the person responsible for Customizing if this is intentional. If so, you cannot confirm the transfer order with a quantity of zero.
I hope the message is eror.

SAP has given some messages which can be converted from waring to error and vice versa thro customization
All that SD related messages which is offered by standard SAP you can find in OVAH and OVM1
your message VL361 will not be there in OVM1 which means that standard SAP has hardcoded this message type thro its program and not available for customization
Go to SE91 and do the following:-
input VL in Message Class
input 361 in Number and execute.
select the message number and click on "Where-Used List" (press Cntrl + Shift + F3)
Deselect all boxes excepting "Programs"
List of programs will be displayed where this error message is used
Double click on the description in right side of the screen
You can see the codings written for the error message as W361 which may be changed to E361.
This is a modification of the codings of the standard program which standard SAP does not recommand and if still you want to go with it it needs to be done thro ABAPer which will ask for developer access key etc

How can I add cursor attribute values or change the size?

I am using the SetCursorAttribute and would like to create and add additional cursor attribute values insteasd of the current 24 that are available. In particular, I would like to number each cursor in my list to each cursor on a graph so it can be identified easily by the user. Making each cursor a different value from the available 24 Attribute Value's is not desired since they are not easily identified due to the size of the cursor. (it's hard to discern a square box to a square box with an X).
OR
Another possiblity could be to allow for modification of the current size of the Attribute Values, is this possible?

Unfortunately there is currently no way to change the size of a graph cursor, or to beyond the 24 point styles you mentioned. However, there are many other ways to differentiate cursors beyond point style. You can use differing crosshair styles and colors. Additionally, you can use "PlotBitmap(...)" to plot a bitmap image to the control using relative X and Y coordinates. With a little creative programming, you can use this function to simulate a graph cursor.

Change the Summary Attribute Value through Java code

I am working on a requirement where I need to set the Attribute value on the final Summary Screen through Java Code.
Code :
        InterviewUserData data = new InterviewUserData();
        InterviewEntityInstance globalInstance = data.getGlobalInstance();
        globalInstance.setValue("Name", value_to_set);
On completion of the interview session Name is displaying as NULL.
I need to set NAME = value_to_set and display it on the final summary screen.
Any help on this will be appreciated.

The InterviewUserData object is effectively a change set, to apply this to a session you use the InterviewSession.submit(InterviewUserData) method. You don't say how you are invoking this code but if it's inside an event Interview Engine handler the InterviewSession object should be accessible.

The CAD bit mask value needed would be: 0x80000002 (Decimal -2147483646).

How can I access the Attribute Values from the Search Region

Hi all,
I have a table which contains Company id, department id, and PositonId. For a particular Company and Department there may be multiple records.
I have to pupulate a table which contains the position and other details that comes under a particular Department and Position based on the selection in the Three comboBoxes.
Also I have to populate a select many Shuttle to add new postions and records under a particular Department.
I created a query panel *(Search Region)* for the serch and a table to display the data. That is working fine.
Now the issue is I am using a view criteria to populate the shuttle with two bind variables ie, DepartmentId and CompanyId.
If the serach will return a resuktant set in the table it will also pupulate the correct records, otherwise ie, if the if the serch result is empty the corresponding iterator and the attribute is setting as null.
SO I want to access the attribute values from the Search Region itsef to populate the shuttle.
I don't know how can I access the data from the Search Region.

When i use VA01 creating a sales order reference to contact, if sales order's quantity is larger than contact's quantity, the system gives an warning message :

I can't find V1 501 with tcode OVAH , anyone knows how to change Warning to Error for this message?

Your Message V1 501, can't be customized to Error from Warning, in customizing. Instead, chnages needs be done in Standard Code, to achieve the same.

Tricky! Change of navi-attribute values in ABAP and use in selections

Hi gurus,
now I have a teaser that really keeps me busy, and which might be interesting for some of you:
we use several statuses in our Demand Planning in SCM 5.0, some of which can be switched by using a user-function macro which just basically is a ABAP function module that changes navigation attribute values directly on the database, meaning in the master data tables of the respective characteristic.
Now, the code works, the values are changed accordingly, leaving the data set in object status "active" - BUT:
when we call a selection, it still shows the old values, even after activating master data or running the attribute change run!
This is not what we expected. Our wish was, that once the table was updated with the correct field values, we would also see them in our selections.
Details:
we have two statuses as navi-attributes to an article:
DP: YES/NO, and
oDP: YES/NO
Combinations originally are: DP YES/oDP NO
After the status change macro, the table shows the following, as expected:
DP NO/oDP YES
As we have two selections, one on DP status "YES", the other one on oDP status "YES", we would like to see the article vanish in the first selection and show up in the other one...
Does anybody have an idea what is wrong and what we can do to have to proper navi-attribute values from the master data table in the selection? Does the selection not read from the database but from a buffer?

yes indeed, I did check the object version, and it is A.
Problem is, the function module changes the data record which is "A" anyway. So the changed data record is active - however, I just had a look at the SID master data table, and it looks that direct changes to the P-table do not affect the X-table where the SIDs are stored. So I guess I will also have to update the X-table with the correct SID-values.
If this works, I let you know. We will be using this change by ABAP quite often, it is rather useful.
