May I how how to change name from Felix to Bernard. Coz I'm using my phone with my actual name. Can you pls help me out coz I can't find a way to change them in Icloud. Thanks.

In the Mail section of iCloud.com, is your name shown in the Full Name field under the Accounts section of the Preferences (accessed by clicking the cog icon at the top-right of the Mail screen)?

How to change name of uploaded file

I am using the a multi-part form and the pl/sql gateway to enable users to upload files to portal. The files automatically get stored in the wwdoc_document$ table. The key to the file is a column called "name" which consists of a sequence number and the file type e.g. 4747.gif.. I want to change this name to a different value.
When I change it using the standard sql Update statement, none of the pdk apis work on the record; they all return errors. I am able to change this value as long as I use a unique value, I just can't run any of the wwdoc apis against the row after that.
Does anyone know how to change this value for a given row???

First time setup - how to change name...

Here's the deal. I bought my brother in law Macbook Pro and when I bought it the feller in the shop helpfully helped me set it up. At the time I did not know my brother in laws apple ID so I used mine. I used my name too. Now - I worked out hot to register it again with his Apple ID.. BUT he still gets my name popping up from time to time. For example when he makes a movie or slide show he tells me that the slide show or movie tells him that I made it - not him...how to change this name?

Make sure you have changed the name under the Accounts Preference pane in System Preferences. Without deleting the account and recreating it or using some command line fancy footwork, you can't completely change over the name, since your folders will still be under the old name because they were created that way, but you can change the log on name and such from there. Also, make sure until Sharing, you have changed the computer's name if that bugs you too.

I am trying to customizing intial download data transfer from ECC to CRM. But in outbound queue of ECC it is showing an error of SYSFAIL with description of logical system name changed. Given note 558701.
But I don't know old name of logical system.
1) Can you guys please help how to find the old logical system name there are many logical systems defined in my system.

Since logical system name is changed sombody in past must have ran BDLS to conver logical system name.
Check tcode SLG1, this tcode will tell you whether there were any logical system conversion done in Past, if it is done then it will tell you from which old logical system its converted to new one. So you can find out old logical system name.
Once you find out old logical system run BDLS again. It might possible BDLS ran unsuccessfully last time.

How to change name of software component version in IR and ID?

Hi All,
I have a scenario in which 50 interfaces are there.All interfaces are working fine and we are in Testing stage.
I need to change name of Software component which I have used in IR.
I tried with release transport. I am able to pass all my mapping programs and everything under new software component name. But in ID all configuration objects contain IR objects (Like interface mapping) with old software component name.
Do I need to change everything in ID manually or is there any other way for this?

If you check this blog , you are able to transfer data even without IR content, i.e, there is no message interface , no namespace in IR and stil this works. Reason, there is no validation if the message interafce exists in the IR. In the runtime the SOAP Header is filled with the interfacename and namespace and it uses these values.

Likewise, irrespective of which SWCV the interface name and namespace is, things will work fine as long as they exists in the IR in your case.
The SWCV is a means to group objects, it might be displayed while doing the manual configuration but it doesnt matter even if you just key in the values without using the help.
Things will work fine.

If you mean you want to change the name of your iCloud ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com to manage your iCloud ID, then tap Edit next to the ID name and enter the name you wish to use (must be in the form of an email address). After changing the name, youi will then need to go to Settings>iCloud on your iOS device(s), delete the existing account, then sign back in with the renamed account. (On a computer, go to System Preferences>iCloud on Mac or the iCloud control panel for Windows on a PC, sign out, then sign back in with the renamed ID.)
Or did you mean you wanted to change the name of your iCloud email account?

I have 3 different icloud accounts.
How can I recognize them in my contacts.
They are all called "all icloud" and I would like to rename them to the different account names.

I had the same issue but think I have a work around. It isn't pretty but it seemed to work for me.
Go to your <user>/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/Sources folder
In this folder you will see folder names consisting of numbers and letters: One for each of the accounts you have in your Address Book
Open each folder and edit the 'Configuration.plist' file with a text editor (suggest you don't use your Mac 'TextEdit' app since it risks saving it as a Rich Text file which can cause issues. Try something like TextWrangler or TextMate which are designed for this job. I suggest you duplicate the file before you do so you have something to go back to.
In the file, you will see the iCloud account name helping to identify which account this is dealing with. Search this string '<key>name</key>' then in the line below you will find '<string>iCloud</string>'. Replace the name between the 'strings' with your preferred name. All standard text is supported. eg '<string>Family's Contacts</string>'
Save the file and repeat for each account you want changed.
Restart Address Book then bingo, all good.

How to change name on Home folder?

I have an Apple iBook PPC G4 1.33 GHz running Leopard OS X version 10.5.8 and with 1 GB Memory. I just purchased this machine, which is in excellent condition, but I have a problem. It is not earthshattering and doesn't threaten the life of the machine in any way, but it is my machine and I would like the Home directory to reflect that.
The name in the System Preferences for Administrator is "gdavies", which is myself, but the Home Folder in the Finder sidebar is named "macuser". I went in as root user and came close to complete disaster, but got out in time. Having me named as administrator in Accounts but not on the Home directory is unusual. If both were called "macuser" I believe I could fix it, but this requires a greater level of expertise than I have.
Any ideas how to make home folder read "gdavies"? I just bought this iBook and it came with the Home folder named as "macuser". I changed the computer's name in "Sharing" in system prefs and I believe I may have changed the name in the Accounts. I know I should not have done it that way, but it doesn't help changing it back.
When I open the Users folder in the Mac HD there are there folders, one called "gdavies" with 10 items, most empty, such as desktop, downloads and so on, though dropbox is there.
The next folder is the house icon for the Home directory named "macuser" with 38 items and is the working folder. Then there is a folder called "shared", which contains no items.

Kappy, you are indeed working overtime to help me and I just want you to know how appreciative I am.
Now, I shall take your answer step by step.
1. Log into Accounts using the admin password for "macuser". That password and the "other" admin password for gadvies is one and the same. However, done.
2. Click on Login Options, done - verify gdavies has admin status - done - answer "yes, gadvies has admin status".
3. Turn off Auto login - done.
4. Logged out then logged into "gdavies".
5. Returned to Accounts pane authenticating with "gdavies" password - done. But remember that the admin password is one and the same for "macuser" and "gdavies". Now, I did *not* set it up like that. It just seemed to happen. do I :- ) or do I :- ( ???
6. Select "macuser" account and using Login options delete. Select the option to remove completely.
I am sorry Kappy, but this pesky "macuser" sits in the home directory without any account in Accounts. So there is no "macuser" account to delete.
I went through all the motions and I was sort of hoping that a "macuser" account would *appear* in the Accounts pane beneath the Guest account so that I could delete it, but no such luck. You know, sometimes things like that do happen.

I have a new Apple ID and I can't change it for my iCloud. It keeps asking me to sign into iCloud with my old email address an it doesn't work because I changed it. What do I do ?

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
