How to check links on a page without creating a site?

Setting up a site in Dreamweaver is a chore when all I'm developing is one html landing page, an html email, mockup presentation, testing source code, ...
Is there a any way Dreamweaver can check absolute urls to external sites or local relative image urls aren't broken without having to config a site?
Or maybe there's a service I can paste the html into and it'll tell me if links are broken?

When I try to save a Firefox web page, I get about a dozen tiny files with funny names cluttering up my documents folder, and making it hard to find anything. This reminds me of problems I used to have with Internet Explorer more than ten years ago. But at least, IE was kind enough to gather all of these files in a single folder, named "files". Firefox dumps them all into my documents folder. Messy.
Years ago, I discovered Opera, which offered a file format that combined the original html code with the other files into one file: an internet archive, with the extension mht instead of htm. I used Opera for years, but recently became aware of the advantages of Firefox.
A few days ago, I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, and installed it. I have been evaluating it ever since. It looks good; I have figured out (more or less) how bookmarks work, and I'm getting used to the taskbars.
But when I try to save a page, I still get a deluge of tiny files cluttering up the target folder. Firefox doesn't save pages in archive form, but only in the old scattered form. Of course, I could simply save only the html. Maybe that's the best thing, but it loses a lot.
The chaos of junky files cluttering up my target folder is enough to send me back to Opera, despite its limitations.

Try printing the page as PDF.
From your Safari menu bar click File > Print > Save As PDF then print the PDF file.
If you don't want to do it that way, reset the print system.

But my case is to find the material document WITHOUT excise invoice for internal tracking purpose.
At the moment we start from tcode MB51 to get the list of material document and check in J_1IEXCHDR / J_1IEXCDTL

Try creating a Query in Tcode SQVI by combining tables MKPF and J_1IEXCHDR/J_1IEXCDTL for your requirement.

It sounds as if what you are wanting to do in the Pages application is to insert a Page Break. Follow the steps in this article -
Pages '09: Inserting a Page Break
In a word processing document, click where you want the break to occur, and then choose Insert > Page Break.
To remove a page break, click at the beginning of the line that follows the break and press the Delete key.
In a page layout document, to insert a new page in your document, click Pages in the toolbar and choose from the template page options available.

You need to put the code inside your flash movie rather than
in the html that you have shown.
Open your movie and make a new keyframe on the last frame of
your movie. Then open your actions panel and place the following

I have finished my "homepage" and it has 5 buttons on it.("home",
"Contact us", etc.).
I have no idea how to create links to other pages i create.
For example, if the user clicks on "Contact us", i wnat contact information
to appear. So, do i create another html document that will contain contact
information and then call that page whenever the user clicks "Contact us". Or
do i just create another applet that contains contact information and display
the applet in the appropriate area, whenever the user clicks "contact us".
Hope that wasnt confusing. Bascially, I am sitting here looking at my buttons, not knowing
what code to put under the actionPerfomed part of each button.

... judging from your question... the best way i think is to create another page...
.... so when ur user clicks on Contact Us..... he/she will be taken to another page...
there are other techniques besides this.... but it is always better to stick with the easiest one
... so you need to create separate pages for all of your links....

How can I insert en empty page without images being pushed of their place?

I made a document that contains text and a lot of images. Now I need to inset an emptey page at the beginning of the document but when I insert a page brake, all the images in the whole document are being pushed of their place, making to document a mess. I already locked to images to see if this helps but still they are being pused out of context with the text that they are refering to. How can I insert an empty page without this hapening?

Try inserting a section break. The images should stay in their original section. Of course if you alter the text in that original section, the images will not move unless they are inline.

How to Upload without creating a "Site"?

Hi, is it possible to upload a page to my server using FTP without creating a "site"?
For example: I created an .htlm page on my desktop named "Site Maintenance" to use when my site is down. This page is not part of a "Site".
I connected to the server using FTP and I just want to be able to "Drag" the page into the "Remote Sites" panel but how do I do this?
When I have a "Site" created, I click the small icon called "Expand to show Local and Remote Sites" and it opens the Local and Remote sites window, but is there a way to open the "Remote Sites" window so I can upload a single page? Thanks.

What if I want to use the FTP client inside of Dreamweaver to just connect to my server. I can connect to the FTP (see image) but how can I drag a folder from my desktop into the server using Dreamweaver?
I have downloaded a folder and I need to add it to my blog which is only on my server. I do not have a Dreamweaver site. Surely Dreamweaver isn't that archaic that you can't upload a file or folder to a server without having to create a site first. It was so much easier in GoLive.

In Flash. There is no way to apply an HTML link to a swf
file.

How do I save a 2 page pdf (created in Illustrator) to be used in a web site?
When I save my Illustrator file as a pdf, it is about 2600 kb, my web site admin will only allow storage of 5000 kb. I tried to "save for the web", but that only saves the first page of my document. Any suggestions other than paying for more storage???

What pdf preset are you using? Try smallest file size rather than illustrator default.
Save for web does not do PDF, so no multipage.

How to add link to specific page in another PDF

I'd like to create a link within a PDF to a specific page in a different PDF. As far as I can tell, the Create Link tool will only allow me to open another PDF on page 1. I know you can link to another page in the current PDF, but I need to link to a separate PDF. I have also found info on mechanisms for opening to different pages, but these are for opening using browsers or code.
So, is it possible to link create a link in a PDF to a specific page in another PDF?

Try this...
You can link to a specific page in a specific PDF from a bookmark. You navigate to the new view (page of a PDF) when creating the bookmark.
When you want to do that with a link (as in selected text in the body of the PDF) you have to do it in two steps. Use any file open to create the link, then edit the properties of the link, select the Action tab, and change the action to Go To A Page View.
That's how it works in Acrobat 8, but I'm betting it's the same in 7.

How would one link a landing page within a Campaign?

I am trying to figure a way in which a user can be directed from my audience app on to a landing page all within a campaign.
The landing page button does not have any connectors, like the other buttons - I can't connect it / add it to the current workflow. Why are there no buttons displayed, how can I add the landing page to this work flow. Please note the attached image.

Technically you can't "send" an audience to a landing page, it's on the canvas for reporting purposes only. If you link to that landing page w/in the email - it will draw a line for you connecting the lading page to the email once you click save.
