How to check module abbreviations and whether they are installed or not ?

There was a question raised , that is self service parts planning module available/installed/registered in our current EBS or not ? How to check whether self service parts planning module is installed or available or not ?
Also i would like to check all the modules which are currently installed and can be used ?

from the link given , it describes that for self service parts planning code is "SPP" . Can you please confirm ?It is part of "Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)", so run the query in (How to Find Out Product Installation Information in Oracle Applications? [ID 1275690.1]) and pass the module name.
Similary can we get the product codes for all shared products, installed products and non-installed products. The doc referenced above in this reply will list all the module names, with the product codes and the status.

My calculation "Total" box adds sum of all text fields whether they are visible or not, do I change
I have check boxes that show and hide text fields. (Thanks to Gilads Java script). In options I have a default value for each text field.
My "Total" Field field adds all fields even if they are not checked and visible. Need to have it only include them if they are checked and visible.You can't attach forms by email, or any other means, so it didn't come through.
Since your fields have default values and aren't calculated based on the state of the corresponding check box, you will have to use a custom calculation script for the Total field that can check to see if any of the fields are hidden, and if so, don't include their values in the sum. For example:

I was searching for an image on my Imac and when I went to Finder,File,Find and then Image, I found hundreds if not early thousand images of printers ! Amazing in one way but I didn't put them on my machine and don't really want them there.Did they come pre-loaded? Can I delete them safely? Thanks
Almost certainly, no absolutely not once you start deleting stuff like this that you think is not needed, eventually you'll trash something essential and cause yourself a lot of heartache.
There are numerous files classed as images, some will be temporary files in browser caches, others system files, others your "real" images, others files which are not really images but appear to be.
The amount of space of what I presume are essentially icons of printers will will be minimal, lets say these images are 5k in size (I guess they are much smaller?) and there are 1,000 of them, thats only 5Mb. No doubt your disk has multiple gigabytes free, eg thousands of times as much free as you'd save by deleting all of them. So you might gain back an extra 0.0001% disk space*. NOt worth the time, let alone the risk, plus then you'll get into a mindset "hmm, I dont think I can possibly need this 23byte file either I'll delete that as well etc, and then "problem......".
Where are the images stored? It may be that at some time you were searching for a new printer and these images are from that exercise (though I doubt you looked at thousands?) in which case they are in your browser cache and you can always delete that through the browser, but that space will be overwritten by other images anyway.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is a motto to work by with computers.
*( or, if you really do need the (say) 5MB of disk space back because you are running out, this would only be a very temporary solution and that wont have done you any good) -
I have a big Project and I would like to run a VI that would check the required toolkits for my application and also check if those toolkits are indeed installed on my PC.
Thanks for your helpWhen your Project is open, you can see some of the Dependencies, other VIs associated with the VIs listed in your Project. This can include VIs that are in the Physical folder containing the Project but not in a Project Virtual folder, VIs in libraries, including .llbs, vi.lib, and user.lib, .dll files (from NI and others) referenced by items in the Project, and possibly other things. These are items that it finds on your current machine, and that you would need if you moved your code to another computer.
When you load one of the VIs in your Project into memory, it will do a further search to locate all of the functions that it uses, raising an Error condition if one is not found (sometimes due to a missing Driver, for example). A trick that I like to use during Development is to create a "Tree" VI that contains a copy of every VI in my Project. If I open the Tree, and any VI makes a call on a "missing function", I will have a Broken Arrow, and can use the Error reporting to find the Missing Link.

Photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days. After that, they are removed from photo stream but will remain on your device. However, if you update your phone then reconnect to your photo stream, you will only get the photos from the last 30 days as the others are no longer there.

I have an iPhone 5s and in my iTunes music library have the songs checked that I want downloaded onto my phone. Instead of doing this, it is syncing all songs whether they are checked or not even tho I have the "sync only checked songs" box checked. So basically it's syncing all of the songs when I just want the checked ones on. This is very frustrating.
When your device is connected, check the tabs at the top ("Summary" "Apps" "Music," etc. Under the Music one, check to see if "Sync Music>entire music library" is checked. If it is, that may be why all the songs are syncing.

Mac and Mac models are picky about the RAM the Mac needs to see and use.
As you have found out, the 1067 speed RAM will not work in your year and model iMac.
You need the 1333 speed RAM.
If, you can return the RAM for a refund, do it!
If not, try online Mac RAM source and seller Crucial memory. They have a table that matches your Mac to the correct and reliable RAM. You may need to contact them to see whether or not they ship to South Africa, though.
If Crucial dpesn't work out, here's the specs for your year and model iMac that you need to seek out and purchase.

My contacts and groups are not duplicated in iCloud but my groups are duplicated on iPhone and iPad. Any ideas on how to remove duplicate groups or why they are duplicating?

Check that you don't have more than one account in your contacts, such as 'iCloud' and 'On My Phone'. -
I downloaded movies onto my iPad to watch when I was abroad, I synchronised with my laptop and now they are not on my iPad how can I get them back?
If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced. -
My daughter and me use the same cloud and apple id to buy songs in the past. I got first iphone 5 and after trying to set up itunes to phone I ended up with all my daughters contacts from her iphone on my iphone. I then deleted them from my phone one by one and now they are gone from her phone as well. How does she get them back on hers and what happen???? Help with cloud!
That's what happens when you share the same iCloud account. First, migrate his phone to a different iCloud account using a different ID (you can continue to share the same ID for other services such as iTunes if you want). To do this, on his phone save any photo stream photos that he wants to keep to his camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If he are syncing notes with iCloud that he wants to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to him so he can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in his new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your phone), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload the data. After doing this, he can go to icloud.com and safely delete your data from his new account.
Then, if your contacts were on your phone when you last backed it up to iCloud, you can restore them by following Winston Churchill's user tip here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. This involves turning off your wifi after your phone restarts during the restore process, then saving the contacts on your phone and deleting them from iCloud prior to turning your wifi back on and allowing the restore process to finish. You can turn off your wifi either by pulling the cord out of the WAN port in your wifi router, or by simply unplugging it. -
I upgraded to OS7 and then found a new gmail account on my iPad. It has put all my ntlworld emails into this new account and says they are all unread. How can I delete this unwanted account?
If his Gmail account is under the Gmail app and press the app until it wiggles then press the extra deleted. If this account is under the Apple email and then you can go to Settings, mail contacts calendars and then select the account and remove it.

Updated my iphone 3gs, lost my music and apps, they are backed up on my computer but i cannot move them over to my phone, tried to sync but not working, please help
well first make sure that when you click on the name of your iphone on the left hand side of itunes that you go to the app and music tab and check mark the sync apps and sync music. then try clicking apply in the bottom right hand corner. then if not try doing it again after going to prefrences in the top menu and going to devices tab and click reset sync history if that doesnt work with music try and drop and drag to the name of your iphone, lastly if that doesnt work you can try restoring from a backup from before you updated. it will keep the new software but put everything that was on your phone when you created the backup back onto your phone.

I transferred my iPhoto FACES to my mini iPad and: (a) they are not in the alphabetical order I had them in, (b) some of the FACES have been deleted, (c) the EVENTS I checked off in iTunes do not all appear in the iPad?
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there.
Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A Finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache. Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

I have windows 7 and my speakers worked then after update my speakers do not work and everything checked out and says they are working and that soundcard is working but no sound now.
I have tried everything and nothing works.sound problems:
