We are considering which SOA Governance products for the customers
the Basic requirements are :
Service life cycle management
versioning
runtime monitoring
which product should i choose?
as there are many products:
Oracle Enterprise Repository
Oracle Service Registry
Oracle Web Services Manager (OWSM)
Oracle Enterprise Manager Management Pack Plus for SOA (SMPP)

You should certainly consider the combination of Oracle Enterprise Repository and Oracle Service Registry for your Service life cycle management, versioning and run-time governance requirements.
You might want to consider SOA Management pack EE for a rich set of service and system level dashboards, administrators can view service levels for key business processes and SOA infrastructure components from a central location. With AmberPoint capabilities now embedded into the SOA Management pack, you get Business Transaction Management capabilities as well.

before i installed soa suite, oracle db which version support it, support oracle db 10.2.0.1.0,or i installed orace db 10.2.0.4.0.

How can I use custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in Weblogic

Hi There,
I'm trying to view and search the weblogic log files using WLST on a Solaris/Unix system.
I have come across this "custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite" and thought of using the custom logging commands to get my task done.
However, my WLST shell is not recognizing the commands and giving me the NameError!
wls:/devDomain1/domainRuntime> listLogs()
Traceback (innermost last):
File "<console>", line 1, in ?
NameError: listLogs
I tried the commands listLogs, displayLogs, getLogLevel & setLogLevel but in vain!
I have followed the instructions as per the oracle recommendation of using Custom WLST commands (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29597_01/core.1111/e10105/getstart.htm#ASADM10692) as below
- Launched the WLST shell from Oracle Home.
cd ORACLE_HOME/common/bin
./wlst.sh
- Tried to run the listLogs command from domainRuntime()
I would like to know if I need to import any additional libraries to run the custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in my WLST shell?
I have only weblogic 10.3.1 server installed on my Solaris 10 machine on which I have deployed the OSB application software.
There is no SOA Suite installed.
Or is there any other way I can browse the Server Log file and get the list of log messages? Basically I would like to use this feature in my script to customize it according to my requirement of listing specific error logs which I can work it out if I know how to make these commands work.
Please advise if this is possible and how?

I have tried on my OSB installation (no SOA Suite here), the command listLogs() works (I was in online mode, after a connect), and the classpath is:

How to use JKS-based Keystore in Oracle SOA 11g

I am trying to do FTPS on third party remote server(with UNIX OS) using SOA 11g FTP Adapter. I have Installed and Configured vsftpd and generated vsftpd.pem certificate file on remote server.
Followed the steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/integration.1111/e10231/adptr_file.htm#CIABDGCF
In one of the step "Setting Up the Oracle FTP Adapter" walletLocation is required, then I went through steps mentioned in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/core.1111/e10105/wallets.htm#CHDGIJDC
Tried to use both 1) JKS Keystore Management 2) Wallet Management
But unable to find both of them in em of Oracle SOA 11g as the steps are not matching.
Can anyone tell me how to use JKS Keystore Management or Wallet Management ?

Hi Yogesh,
I believe the wallet can be created from the FMW console only if the HTTP server is installed and available. If there is no Oracle HTTP server, please configure one as given under.

As per the certification matrix at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/fusion-certification-100350.html --> Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.x) -->System Requirements and Supported Platforms for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 --> Download the xls file --> On sheet FMW on WLS - System you should be able to see AIA FP and SOA certified combinations.
To download the installer goto - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/foundation-pack/downloads/index.html --> Release 11gR1 (11.1.1.5.0) --> Select the platform and expand Prerequisites & Recommended Install Process.
You should be able to gather all the required information from here.

Can anyone please tell me, how to implement Custom Authentication in Oracle SOA 11g ?
Because in Oracle SOA 10.1.3.4 , i have implemented this custom authentication and authorization by implementing BPMAuthenticationService, BPMAuthorizationService, BPMIdentityService to verify againt my database systems.

How to configure eclipse for Oracle SOA 11gR1 development

I have installed oracle 11gR1 ( 11.1.1.3.0) and have found that Eclipse (Galileo) as development tool. When I opened Eclipse to create new SOA Project for BPEL development, I could not able to find a SOA Project category. I assume that we need to install plug-in for developing the SOA Project.
I browse through the site and could not able to locate anything quite useful. Could you please guide me on how to proceed..
Is Eclipse the strategic development environment for Oracle SOA 11gR1, R2 development.. ?
