How to Configure E-mail and Chat functionalities

Dear all,
How to configure E-mail and Chat functionalities for IC Webclient.
through IC Webclient ICI interface how can we configure E-mail functionality, As per my understanding, E-mails can be handled in a similar way of receiving phones.
Where these E-mails can be stored?, Where we define agent E-mail id?
being ICI is a multi channel support does it need SMPT server support? If No, would there be any difference in the functionality?
How does CHAT functionality works?
Please educate in above scenarios to get a better understanding.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Experts I have one scenario in my co. that we have 300 users we have to send the mails to our 300
users for every 2 or 3 months once. Regarding new promotions (Discounts , Price changes) of
company. For this every time we are changing the sold to party in quotation and taking printouts then
sending to our users its a lengthy procedure, to avoid this long time very soon we are going to
implement SAP SD Sales Suppor in our company is there any functionality in SAP to send mail at
once to our 300 users may i know about how to configure the mail for this scenario.

My scenario Mail-XI-file. In adapter monitoring it is giving me error "not initialized: mail agent null". What do we exactly mean by this??

Sendmail uses the M4 macro processor to compile the configuration files. There is no GUI, if that is what you are looking for.
The configuration depends on what you want to accomplish and how email needs be routed in your environment.

Welcome to the Nokia Forums!
Have you managed to sync your e-mail at any point and only recently stopped or never work to begin with? Also what e-mail provider are you using?
I suggest first of all you should contact the email provider to be sure you have all the correct configuration settings for the e-mail account.
You can also try perform a soft reset *#7780# security code 12345 by default if prompted. This will restart all your phone settings to as they where out of the box, but will not delete any of your data.

Social, Mail and Chat Apps as a paid service ???

Dear Nokia Team,
I would like to express my disappointment concerning the access of the Social, Mail and Chat applications on the latest s40-based Nokia mobile phones on AIS One-2-Call network (Thailand):
I purchased a Nokia Asha 303 for my wife 2 weeks ago and tried to connect her new telephone to her Facebook account via the embed Social application provided by Nokia (not the browser). It always failed to work even though everything is fine on her mobile (3g/gprs connection works, balance is positive).
Our local Nokia Care Center could not find anything wrong concerning the functioning of my wife's mobile phone and advised us to contact our mobile phone carrier: AIS
After talking to an AIS customer service officer, we learned that Facebook access through Nokia's Social application is provided as a extra option which is charged 29 THB/week !

I'm very upset. I feel like this isn't right:
I've been lured by the possibilities of this mobile phone to get easily connected to Facebook and Twitter with the Social App and access my account in just one finger tap from the home screen as it is clearly mentioned on your website:

Well, unless I decide to subscribe to the above paid service, which is unlikey to happen, I won't be using this nice feature. This is very disappointing.
Besides, Nokia's Social app is the only application available for Facebook on this mobile phone. My only alternative is the web browser ! This is definitely not good news.
Now I'd like to know:
Nokia, do you have an agreement with mobile phone carriers in Thailand ?
If so, how do you justify the existence of paid offers to access social network websites through your application while many of your competitors, if not all of them, offer free applications instead ?
If there is no agreement, then I recommend you to clear things up here in Thailand because operators are making money behind your back exploiting your own technology...

How to configure the runtime and consolidation for a track in CMS.
I can see the track exists in CMS but the same doesnt pull up in the NWDS in the development configuration perspective.
I compared the given track with the one which gets pulled up in NWDS. Theres something called runtime system and consolidation which isnt defined for the track which is invisible.
Please advise , what are these required for. And how can we configure the same.

The runtime systems are defined for a track to setup the Transport path for any code changes....the Consolidation system is usually defined as a Virtual system for the track and used for comparison and fixing any broken or Dirty DC's ....that means it's not used as a Runtime System for Deployment as compared to DEV,QAT and PROD used for Deployment...

I've bought c3 for 1 months. Everyday i tries to log on to chat and mail, but my problem is it always shows a notification like this:
Mail: service temporary unavailable. try again later.
Chat: temporary service problem. Try again later code 503.
This is really annoying. I can still use store, communities, opera mini but totally not mail AND chat. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you so much.

You did have a successful creating of Mailbox right? What client are you on? If you were using Yahoo! Mail and is set it to POP3, it would not work since Yahoo! does not support POP3 (unless you're one Yahoo!Plus) and for the chat I use Nimbuzz as its way better.
