How to configure the mail in Sales Support of SAP SD

Hi,
Experts I have one scenario in my co. that we have 300 users we have to send the mails to our 300
users for every 2 or 3 months once. Regarding new promotions (Discounts , Price changes) of
company. For this every time we are changing the sold to party in quotation and taking printouts then
sending to our users its a lengthy procedure, to avoid this long time very soon we are going to
implement SAP SD Sales Suppor in our company is there any functionality in SAP to send mail at
once to our 300 users may i know about how to configure the mail for this scenario.

I did the Support Pack Upgrade for BW system and i ran SGEN as well, now i need to configure the database , could you please suggest how to configure the database monitoring (DBA Cockpit) after Support Pack Upgrade.
Server is MSSQL , Component is SAP NetWeaver 2004s and OS is Windows NT.

Hi,
You are right. SAP delivers this functionality from SP-12. So when you have applied the SP-12, you must have done these config steps to enable the DBA Cockpit.
If you have done these steps earlier, So you must have DBA Cockpit enable right now and putting extra SPs like 13, 14 and so on, should not be a matter.
Now if you have not performed those config steps before, Please do them now and you will be able to use DBA cockpit.
Please understand that SP12 is the base to run DBA Cockpit.

Dear all,
How to configure E-mail and Chat functionalities for IC Webclient.
through IC Webclient ICI interface how can we configure E-mail functionality, As per my understanding, E-mails can be handled in a similar way of receiving phones.
Where these E-mails can be stored?, Where we define agent E-mail id?
being ICI is a multi channel support does it need SMPT server support? If No, would there be any difference in the functionality?
How does CHAT functionality works?
Please educate in above scenarios to get a better understanding.

How to configure send mail relay. Client gave us smtp host,port, username and password. We have a couple of server. If we configure the relay in any one of the server other servers able send mails using relay server. Please help me on this?

.Create an IT Resource of Type Mail Server. Give Name as "Email Server.Now populate the values for all the parameter for example Server,username,password and authentication type.
.Go to System Configuration and in Email Server property value give the name of IT resource you created in step1 so the name will be "Email Server".

To use the JavaMail 1.2 API, i unbundle the javamail-1_3_1-upd.zip file.....and now, i would like to add the mail.jar file to your CLASSPATH.
My question is: how do you do this ?
- ok i did that for CATALINA_HOME & JAVA_HOME but how to add the mail.jar file to my CLASSPATH ??

Currently in the editing window of the communication channel (adapter type WS), I can not see any options regarding Reliable Messaging protocol (WS-RM).
The scenario that is required is as follows.
(Consumer WS-RM) -> (Provider WS-RM PI 7.11 EHP1) -> (ABAP Proxy Backend NW 7.0)

WS adapter supports WS Reliable Messaging. But WS adapter is used to communicate between two SAP web service runtime.

Sendmail uses the M4 macro processor to compile the configuration files. There is no GUI, if that is what you are looking for.
The configuration depends on what you want to accomplish and how email needs be routed in your environment.

Have you managed to sync your e-mail at any point and only recently stopped or never work to begin with? Also what e-mail provider are you using?
I suggest first of all you should contact the email provider to be sure you have all the correct configuration settings for the e-mail account.
You can also try perform a soft reset *#7780# security code 12345 by default if prompted. This will restart all your phone settings to as they where out of the box, but will not delete any of your data.
