How to contain a sub-component in the module instead of containing it in the main application

Hi,
I've 3 files
Appln.mxml (application file) ---- contains main application
component.mxml (component file) ---- contains component
module.mxml (module file) ----- contains module
Generally the 'component.mxml' file will get loaded into the 'Appln.mxml' file (i.e., 'Appln.mxml' file will contain the custom component files) and whereas module file will get loaded on-demand.
So Now instead of containing the data of 'component.mxml' file in the 'Appln.mxml', I want to contain 'component.mxml' file data in the 'module.mxml' file itself and load the 'component.mxml' when module is loaded on-demand but not when application is loaded. So can any one please suggest me how to do it?

You can delete software components & versions from the IR in XI 2.0. (We're on Service Pack 5, and I've done it to clean up our IR.)
Here is the process:
1. Delete all configuration and/or import objects from the SCV. Don't forget the 2 fault data types that SAP automatically creates in every namespace.
1a. Activate all change lists? I don't remember for certain if this is needed here; if it won't let you save the deleted namespaces in step 2, then do this first.
2. Double-click on the Software Component Version so that it comes up in the right pane. Click on the change/edit button. Delete all the namespaces from the SCV. Save.
3. Activate all change lists. (It won't let you delete the SCV if you have uncommitted changes.)
4. Open the SCV again (if it's not still open). On the menu at the top of the right pane, go to Software Component Version...Delete. You may or may not have to activate changes again.
If I remember right, the software component will disappear automatically with the deletion of the last version.

Referencing sub templates in the main template

Hi all,
I ve developed a layout which is to be uploaded for print option to be used.
But since there can be html tags in the data to be printed, I found a xsl file which has got transformations from html to xslfo.
Now I need to include this sub template in the main template.
Can any1 tell me how to do this.
In order to use import functionality I must specify the path I guess.

Then make the temp1 as 'Horizontal Alignment : Left , Vertical Alignment : Absolute from top ( provide the height ) '
For temp2 as 'Horizontal Alignment : Right , Vertical Alignment : Absolute from top ( provide the same height as above ) '
Adjust the widths of the templates accordingly to fit the page width.

Adjusting the size of the "pop up" sub vi in the main vi

I am trying to reduce the size of the "pop up" sub vi in the main vi. If I push everything upwards, the info downwards is lost. Similarly the side info is lost. How to adjust the size and yet keep all the info. I am using LV6.0. I have attached the file concerned.

There is obviously a misunderstanding here.
You have full control over the front panel and you can make all the controls as small or large as you want. In addition, you can also place them wherever you want. It is up to you as the designer to place them how you want. If you want then all to be a few pixels by a few pixels, LabVIEW will allow that. Obviously, a string control that is 3 pixels wide and 2 high is unusable, but you can do it. In addition if you wanted all the controls to over lap that is fine, but again it will most likely be unusable for your user.
If your question is the mechanics of moving and re-sizing controls, LabVIEW works the same as most products. You need the arrow tool, which you can get from the tools pallette (Windows>> Show Tools Pallette). With that tool you simply click on the control and move it where you want it. To resize it you hover over the borders of the control until you see the little resize squares and then re-size away. This is the same as how you would re-size an object in Word etc.
If you are simply asking for some examples based on the front panel you attached, we on the forums can move them around and give you examples but we don't know what it is you as the designer or your "customers" want. Therefore anything we do is a shear guess and unlikely to be what you really want. By far the best option is for us to help answer for you the how so that you can create the front panel that you want.
So can you re-phrase the question or help us understand what it is you want?

App folder in the dock doesn't contain all the apps in the main Applications folder

I have noticed recently that the App folder in the dock doesn't contain all the apps in the main Applications folder (the correct one under Macintosh HD).
This occurs whether in list, grid, automatic or whatever.
I've removed the apps folder from the dock and dragged in the current one and yet it doesn't show all the apps from the source folder.
Any ideas on why this is happening or how I can fix it?
There are 55 items in the Apps folder but only 51 are shown in the folder located in the dock.
If I drag it over (as per normal operation), all 55 should appear right?
Is there a limit on how many can be displayed?
Can the grid spacing/icon size be changed to fit them all in if that's the case?
Just dunno why this is happening???

Not sure this is what you want, but if you are an admin user, try this instead. Right-click on /Applications (Applications in the hard drive icon folder, the root folder, not Applications in your user) and select Make Alias, then drag that alias into the Dock to the right of or below the divider (the Trash icon is in that area.) Your Applications will now open from that alias in the Dock. The "original" alias will remain in that location, while creating a new Applications folder in the Dock. I have done this for my home folder, Utilities, and Downloads as well.

Just getting started with Animate and coming to it from Flash, as may be apparent from my question. How do you set a variable to the main timeline from within a symbol?
I have 24 pairs of clickable elements, each in their own symbols, and all 24 of those symbols sit inside another symbol. I want all 24 to be able to set the same global variable when clicked. I can't find that this question is addressed anywhere, which makes me think I may be stuck in a Flash mindset and approaching the task in the wrong way. (There are however MANY discussions of how to address objects at different levels in the hierarchy. That's well covered.)
Relatedly, how do you access a function on the main timeline from within a symbol?
Adobe should consider putting together a support page (or pages) just for folks migrating form Flash. In the materials I've encountered so far there seems to be a studied effort to refrain from mentioning Flash in any way. I imagine there are a lot of people out there like me who have a deep background in Flash coding, but are just getting started with Animate. We don't need help with most of the basic concepts, but we may still have some pretty basic questions about how to accomplish some things in Animate because our Flash knowledge is getting in the way.

Right click the image thumbnail in the project bin, and duplicate. It will come in as xxxcopy

The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to a computer with iTunes via the USB cable. iTunes should open and give you instructions. If not, open iTunes and retore the iPod via iTunes.

I am migrating my application from eclipse 3.x to eclipse 4.3 and I want to set the style of the main application window i.e. the shell that is created in application MTrimmedWindow in e4.
Earlier we were doing it using

But now in e4 application after reading some forum replies I got to know that custom renderer needs to be created for that.
I created my own renderer extending WBWRenderer and as I wanted to change the style of shell I am overriding createWidget method.
Now the problem is that if I am just creating a new shell in this createWidget method then it is not working. Might be because this method has a lot of other code also.
So I copied all this code into my overridden method of createWidget & just changed the style of shell according to my need. Then this worked but for this I have to put some private methods also into my custom renderer class from WBWRenderer.
SO my question is to confirm that if I am doing it in a right way?
or is there any other mechanism to do this in a more efficient way?

This can now be solved with a specific "persisted state" key flag, as documented in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=386951 . For example to realize a NO_TRIM window, add the key/value styleOverride/8, where 8 is the value if you get the numeric of

Best Practice in regards to adding showing SkinnablePopUp from the Main application file of Mobile A

Hello,
I want to display a SkinnablePopUp when the user presses the back key when the current view is the first view to ask if he wants to quit.
The logic (checking if the key pressed was the back key && the current view is the first view) is in the main application file and if those two conditions are true then the exit() method is called.
I want to show the confirmation popup. Should I move all that in the first view mxml component or is it OK to instantiate the SkinnablePopUp in the main app file?

Try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
Click to view full size
launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.
