How to convert mobi books to ePub format?

Hello, I have a question for help here, I have a lot of .mobi books on my computer, I wanna transfer these mobi books to my iPhone and iPad for reading, but I found they doesn't accept mobi format, I tried many ways to convert mobi to ePub but failed, the quality of the output ePub file is so bad, unable to read. pleae help! Is there any software can convert hundreds of .mobi files to ePub format with high quality? Don't give me calibre, it keep crashed in my windows 8, and the it is not easy to use, waste of my time.

And, what did I say? Asnlinkda asked how to convert a mobi book into an epub book (not how to convert an epub in a mobi). I said him that he should use some thid party app (that produces epub books) and if it's necessary, to polish the resulting book mobi to ePub converter. I also say that he could use mobi to ePub converter but that I prefer to use the first method. So, I say that is preferable to use (if it were necessary)
The way I go from Mobi > ePub is to use Vibosoft ePub creator or iStonsoft mobi to epub converter to convert, use Modify ePub to put in the cover and then use Sigil to rename the files and clean up the code/CSS. I find that's the easiest way to do it.

If you want long term access make sure you register your copy of ADE(Digital Editions) with an explicit Adobe ID BEFORE you open the .acsm file in ADE.
If you open the .acsm file in digital editions, it will create a (DRM) file, either .epub or .pdf.
It is already decided which you will get in the .acsm file; you can't choose.
(Sometimes there is a choice before you download the .acsm file; for example our library usually gives the choice)
Once you have the file you cannot convert it because of the DRM.
Even if you have a DRM .pdf you still need ADE or similar to open it, again because of the DRM.

I have text field which has a databind to a date field. When I click on it, we can select the date, it is added on the format (dd,mm,yyyy). When I want to insert this date field to a database It doesnu2019t allow me to do it because it will only accept date field on the format (mm,dd,yyyy)
I tried to store this format on a date variable and I get a message saying that is impossible to convert a string into a date.

usually you format strings in c# like
string.Format("{0:yyyyMMdd}", insertyourstring);
in your case
string.Format("{0:MM/dd/yyyy}", insertyourstring);

PRST1 can not read some book in epub format converted by calibre

I downloaded some books with fb2 format and converted them by calibre to epub format.
I do not have problem to read these book on my PC but with my Reader I see only ??????
Any idea how to fix this.

This may be an issue due to the file being converted from another format. Check if original ePub format books are being recognized in the Reader.

Exporting books in epub format

is there anyone, who is producing design heavy ebooks in epub format ott of Indesign cs55?
OMG. IMHO the whole export filter is one bog software bug!
The output code is mess. In CSS it mixes different measurement units, it losts object tags, and creates a whole lot of is own generated tags when exporting long docuqments organized as InDesign books.
Do you know, is there any alternative to Adobes own epub export? Or how to use CS50 epub export in CS55?

Yes. Maybe i expressed myself wrong. For producing coffe table books, the DPS is the best.
What i am doing is producing textbooks and other books full of images and tables.
I am totally baffled with the amount of bugs Adobe new epub export script includes. I mean -- I got the book with a lot of content and therefore split to several ID files compiled to the book. Whwn i expirt that book, the same tag from different files got his own name: body-1, body-2, body-3, etc. How to overcome it?
And there i a lot od this kind of bugs.
The CSS in epub is the mess.
Im i realy the olny one, who got those problems?

To convert VHD format, you can also use Convert-VHD comlet. The Convert-VHD cmdlet converts a virtual hard disk file by copying the data from a source virtual hard disk file to a new virtual hard disk file of a specified format and version type. The format
is determined by the file extension of the specified files, either .vhdx or .vhd. Conversion is an offline operation; the virtual hard disk must not be attached when the operation is started.

   then no need to do anything.

How to convert BLOB data into string format.

Hi,
I have problem while converting blob data into string format.
for example,
Select dbms_lob.substr(c.shape.Get_wkb(),4000,1) from geotable c
will get me the first 4000 byte of BLOB .
When i using SQL as i did above,the max length is 4000, but i can get 32K using plsql as below:

return my_var;
I comfortably convert 32k BLOB field to string.
My problem is how to convert blob to varchar having size more than 32K.

Is any one having trouble with audio books in WMA formatting converting with the new ios v5

Since updating to OS5 in my itouch I have lost all my library audio books. I have downloaded a couple of new library audio books. The books look like they are being loaded into my itouch but are not there. The only way I can access them is to make a playlist for each book and drag the numbered files into the playlist folder. There are a lot of problems with this method - book chapters are not in order (I have to tried to reorder them without success) and if I stop listening to a book, when it starts again it starts at the beginning of the chapter. Before OS5 I had no trouble with WMA files or anything for that matter. I hope there is a solution soon.
