why are you posting on an Apple forum? Only the carrier to which a phone is locked can initiate the unlock process (if they even offer unlocking at all). Contact Mobinil.

The store or person from whom you bought the iPhone should be able to tell you. If not, you can either just try a different carrier's SIM, or perhaps if you call Apple Support they may be able to tell you.

I'm not aware of an online keyboard that is available and can do this. Most likely it would need to be a function of the app itself (which can and sometimes do add functionlaity to the keyboard).
Wireless keyboard might handle that, if that's an option for you.
I work in IT myself, and IMHO the iPad isn't the ideal device for coding or scripting work.

My provider SAYS they've unlocked my old phone, so I can sell it as unlocked.
But how can I tell if it's been completed?
I do not have, nor would I know how to get, a card from any other carrier. And if I did, there would not be any signal from that carrier with which to check, because where I live the only signal within several miles is the one generated by my own microcell.

Now when you do heard reboot for soft you get a USB cable plug into iTunes displayed on the screen but cannot activate iTunes on the computer that is iTunes does not recognize the iPhone anymore. It is over three years have passed, I have not had the original receipt of purchase.

At the time, I used the device only on wi-fi

Iphone 4 locked after trying to unlock with SAM..

I urgently need your help. I was trying to unlock my iphone4 Baseband 04.12.01 with SAM but I didn't realise it was detected by Apple. SAM didnt work and now my phone is locked, asking for a compatible Sim card (may be it means AT&T but not sure) which I dont have. I only have T-mobile sim. My iphone 4 iOS 5.1 is already jailbroken and I want to unlock it but most important thing is I need to use it now..because I only have one handset. So can u suggest me how to unlock my phone without AT&T sim card. Should I send it to Apple Store or T-mobile ?

i searched for unlocked iphone 5 at web and the results showed me apple page....
it was for canada. Unlocked (GSM) 699$ 16GB!!
But it was not on USA page

i believe the reason unlocked iphones were for sale on launch day in Canada is because Canadian law requires that phones be sold unlocked - this is true in other countries like France (but unfortunaely not in the US)

In my case when I put the sim card of SK telecom the iphone display the carrier of SK telecom and when I replace the sim card with KT then it displays the carrier with KT telecom in the settings.
Does that mean my iphone is unlocked and it is carrier free?
In my case these both sim are expired so they dont show any networks.
They just display "Searching " and then "No service" but in the carrier section (settings) it displays the corresponding telecoms and the phone numbers.
So is it unlocked phone.
If it is unlocked phone then I was thinking o use a mini sim card(SK telecom) in it which is not expired by cutting it into micro sim card .Will it work ?

I have an iPhone that runs over my company. So it's synchronized with Exchange. After a time, therefore the iPhone is locked and can be unlocked only by entering the code. I have now two ICE-Numbers (in case of emergency), where I would like to select, also if the mobile phone is locked. I have checked everything, but I didn't found a way to change something, that I can select the number (s), also when the phone is locked. So my question is whether anyone knows if this is possible. Other way. I can delet these ICE-Numbers, then when I have an accident, no one can select the number.

I know this. But I hope, someone has found a way, to generate some other numbers. For an accident, could be very important, to choose an another number then only 911. Specially, when the user of the iPhone, can't speak anymore or is in coma. So you can then call the ICE number of his iPhone for more informations etc. Maybe there is a possibility to send this to Apple for a Changerequest ?
