Hello, I'd like to create a hotspot on my video. During this video, I have a icon popup and I'd like it (when clicked) to go to a website.

YouTube offer authoring tools in the video manager. Dunno about Facebook since I'm not there. Normal web pages require a suitable video player like jwPlayer to do any of this. Either way, your problem cannot be resolved in AE or any other video app. You have considerable gaps in your knowledge about web techniques and need to read up on that.

Just fill in the album & track details like you would for regular music. On the Options tab of *Get Info* set the Media kind to Music Video. I would like to learn how to create a drag and drop video playlist.
I think the most common example is youtube.
I already have partial of the work but I am stuck with my preliminary knowledge of Flash.
What I am saying is:
I have a *.fla project that have the galleries for video and pictures.
But this process is done from the back end.
I would like to make it more dynamic for the visitors.
For example:
1. Create a visitor video (pictures) playlist
2. Drag and drop into the playlist
3. To be able to create different playlists (Playlist 1, "My favorite playlist", "Watch later", etc)
If someone knows or want to guide me where or how to find this request, I'd appreciate it so much.
If the forum think that this need to be address to a expertise ($). I am also welling to hear that and where to go.

Yeah that is the general idea but that is more of a "lift and drop", i want to add the same thing as when you:
Right click this window in the taskbar (assuming your using windows) when the window is not maximized and click "move" then it changes the cursor icon and allows u to move the window around and while you move it around it shows the window moving, not a click and release feature.
So i want that ability without having to click on the title bar, if you know what i mean.

I do not think that I am completely focused into this completely, so let us see if the following is going to help.
You are going to need a base for your button. When you mention "image" button, I am assuming that you are using that term to differentiate between a text button and a thumbnail type button.
The menus (main and scene) take their origin in .psd files on the hard drive and strict nomenclature and structure for Layers Palatte. And, the buttons on the menus trace back to the menu markers on the Timeline, main menu marker and order of placement of scene markers. The scene thumbnail will only appear when there is a scene marker on the Timeline to which it.
In view of all that
Where have you already inserted this "image (button)"...into the Layers Palette of a Photoshop document or other? Is this "image (button)" in a structured Layer Group in the Layers Palette with sublayer groups, text layers, graphic/background layer"?
Let me give you an example
If you have a button (with thumbnail) on the main menu and you want that to open to a specific scene in your movie, then you use a main menu marker on the Timeline at the spot that you want that button to target.
If I am getting closer to what you seek, then please further clarify the DVD navigational envisioned scheme.

I have the latest adobe creative cloud and i'm using Mac 10.8.2
My client gave me a wmv file that she wants some people blurred out in the background but when I go to import the media, it's greyed out. I'm assuming that After Effects will be the best solution for this, but maybe there is another way.
I can purchase a video converter and convert it to .mov but that costs extra money that I don't want to spend just to do this one project.

I should also mention that if you create the shape with any of the shape tools (rectangle, Polly star, eclipse) instead of the pen tool you will have to convert the shape to a bezier path before you can copy the path and paste it to a mask. Easy to do if you have the recent version of AE, not so easy if you're using an older version.

Does Compressor4 have any features (or scripts that can be run post-compression) to create encrypted HTTP Live Streaming Videos?
It works great for creating UNencrypted ones, but I need to make some encrypted ones also.

I found it out: You have to use "New Batch From Template" and choose “HTTP Live Streaming". Then you have to create a new folder where the output goes to in the "Information" window. There is also a checkbox which instructs Compressor to create a "readme.html".
Then a folder for every quality setting is created, where all the .ts files go to and the playlist files as well. Works like a charm, as soon as you found out how to do it.

Does anybody know how to create a BUMPER for a video?

I am trying to create a bumper for a video. What I mean is rather then having a blank screen, it would be nice to have a image on the first frame of the video. This video will be for the web so it is much nicer to have. Please let me know how I can do this.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a thought bubble with video playing inside it using premiere. I'm trying to create a video for an assignment and i want it to start off with someone dreaming and have the thought bubble pop up with their dream then have it fade into the dream video. Subject pretty much says it all. Is it possible to create a DVD which simply plays a video without a menu (preferably looping the video)?

Yes. After adding the slideshow to the iDVD project go to the Map mode and drag the video into the left hand bin "Drag content here to automatically play when the disk is inserted". With that slideshow selected go to the Advanced menu and select the Loop slideshow option.

I created a flash movie which resembles a control panel. I created a image of the group of people that worked on the project and I want the image to be hidden until the user types a key combination that would trigger the image to appear and dissapear when clicked. This url is something like what I was looking for, (www.virtualmarketingblog.com/how-to-create-alert-boxes-in-flash/) but I want an image to appear instead, can this be customized? The only problem is, I'm not really good at actionscript. Is there any tutorials out there that may show an easy way to do this. The attached file is a sample of my interface.

How do I "round trip" a multi track Audition project with After Effects?

I'm a complete Audition newb and haven't been able to find an answer for this yet. I would like to make an ajustment in my Audition project and then move over to After Effects to hear it paired with the video. Also my voice over track is not in the mix even though it has signal and when I click into the individual cuts I hear it just fine. The voice over is track 2.

I'd need to see a little bit more of the Track Panel for Track 2 to know for sure why it's not included in a mixdown, but the likely cause is the Track Output is not set to Master, but instead was set to a specific output channel on your device.
As for the round-tripping between Au and AE, this process does not appear to be as elegant in After Effects as it is in Premiere Pro. You'll need to export the mixdown of your multitrack session, overwriting the file After Effects is referencing, the re-link it in AE. This would be how I'd approach it:
1. From Audition multitrack, File > Export > Multitrack Mixdown > Entire Session. Create a file in your AE project folder called Audition Mixdown.wav (for example. Best to use uncompressed WAV or AIFF formats at this stage.)
2. Drop this file into your Composition.
3. Make changes to the mix in Audition and either overwrite the original file, or save a new version.
4. In After Effects, right-click the file in your Project panel and choose Replace Footage > File... selecting the updated file.
Since it appears AE loads assets fully into RAM, it doesn't monitor the file on disk for changes and so it doesn't auto-update the asset when it is overwritten by Audition. In Premiere Pro, where the assets are streamed directly from disk, changes saved to the source asset update in the Premiere timeline almost immediately. Perhaps this is a potential workflow optimization we can discuss with the After Effects team to improve this workflow.
