How to create a tcode using sap query

Hi
    I have created a query using SQ01. It is working fine. But I want to create a transaction code for that. How can we achieve this?

Hi,
Go to se93 and select the create button.
You will then be asked to writed down the tcode of your choice then create a short text for that tcode.
Select the 2nd option button w/c is the "Program and Selection Screen (report transaction)." Press enter.
Then key in the program name and the variant you saved in the program.
When transporting to Prod, Save the variant there as well.
If you placed "DEFAULT" in the creation of tcode, you should also save "DEFAULT" variant in production

    What do you mean "It Not Working"？ As Kamath said, please post the detail error message, so that we can make further analysis.
    In the Data Source View of a CUBE, we can define a named query. In a named query, you can specify an SQL expression to select rows and columns returned from one or more tables in one or more data sources. A named query is like any other table in a data source
    view (DSV) with rows and relationships, except that the named query is based on an expression.

    Does anyone knows how can I create a Tabular Form page to update a table's data, but using the capabilities offered when creating an Interactive Report page (that is, having the "Search Bar" filtering tool at the top of the form)?

    Try this method,
    1. Creat a Master Detail Form (Custom Layout and not tabular)
    and in the master block select one field.
    2. In the HTML layout for master remove the reference for
    that field(so that nothing will appear in the master block
    of the form).
    3. Before the update (in the Pl/SQL event handler select the 'Save' event and write the following code to avoid updating master block).
    p_session.set_value(p_block_name => 'MASTER_BLOCK',
    p_attribute_name => 'MASTER_ACTION',
    p_value => 'None');
    doSave;
    For eg, let's say
    Master is from 'Dept' table and Detail is from 'Emp' table(with join condition Dept.dept_id = Emp.dept_id). In the master remove everything except dept_id field and in the HTML layout for master remove the reference of the dept_id field(you cannot remove this field physically from the master layout). Now the form will look like multirow form rather than master detail form but only problem with this workaround is 'Detail Action' will be present in the detail block.

    Hi folks, one question:
    We have our development close moved and now it is earlier than originally planned. 
    That means that we maybe can't finish our convenient API and you have to wait till we will release it - early 2015 is planned.
    But there is another option:
    Currently we have a API based on json. The developer has to create json and  to transfer it to the Visual Business control.
    This interface is more used as a low level API and we are developing on top the more convenient one. So all the features are the same.
    It will stay stable & compatible in the future and you can build on it.
    Do you want to use this interface?  
    Then I will publish the documentation.

    Please follow below steps
    (1)Create a class name
    SBDSV1 (TRANSACTION) --> New Entries --> Class name (SOME NAME) --> Class type (OT).
    2)After entering the above details and saving, the fields Class object name fields   will be blank, make entries as shown  below .
    1)     Class : BDS_LOC1
    2)     Class : BDS_POC1
    3)     Class : BDS_REC1
    4)     Object name : BDS_CONN00
    3)- Now next time logging in to OAOR you can directly refer to this Class name.
    4)1)     Go to transaction OAOR, give the class name created.
       2)     Give class type as OT
       3)     Give some name in object key it’s like sub folder
    5) a) Click on create drag down standard doc types will get no. of option chose one
        b) double click on the class name in this new screen.
        c)in the below screen are, you have tabs for  details,documentinfo,keywords,create, click on create TAB,
       d)By double clicking on screen you can browse the folder where image is located and select it
       e)Once the image is selected it will be stored in the folder that is created with object key
    6) now double click on the image you uploaded & in below screen area select the Details tab, you will get object id,use this object id & code as below

    HI,
    IN SQ02, IF table is already in JOIN, just click on the PLUS sign to expand the strcture.
    All the field showing Plus sign in the strcture are selected in your query and with MINUS sing are no selected.
    So you have to just click on the MINUS sign for the field you want to use through table field.
    Generate the query and execute thriugh SQ01.
    If you want to add some other field which is not a part of JOIN,
    then click on EXTRAS Button shown in the MENU option.
    Click on Create button and system will ask abt the additional field.

    Goto RSA1 and then Transport Connection -> In SAP Transports select Object Types-> Query Elements -> Then select Query->Give Technical name of the query and then select for transfer. In the right side you can choose the components which you wanted to transport.
