How to create an image banner that slides left to right with mouseover?

I need to create a web banner like the one on the following site: www.gracelandbaptist.org. I have been unabe to find anything on how to create such a banner. I believe it was created in flash but am not sure. I want my banner to work in the same fashion so that as the mouse is moved from left to right the banner will slide appropriately. Its possible that some java script might also have been used with flash. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful. Thank you.

It is a Flash design and is unlikely javascript is involved with the interaction. There are probably a couple of ways to approach such a design, but if you have no experience with Flash, you will probably struggle to create it. The basics involve place the different images in a movieclip and controlling the horizontal position of that movieclip based on mouse interaction/position. THe position controls are based on what values are needed to have a particular section of the movieclip occupy the main section of the viewing area. Actionscript Tweens are probably employed to manage the position transitions.

I have used image maps before and know how to create an image map to link to a new page. In this case, however, I want to be able to click on my image using an image map and load a new image with text on the same page as the image map. Is this even possible? Is there some sort of behavior that allows you to create same-page links, perhaps using AP divs? I want the end result to be a type of gallery that loads different images depending on where you click on the main image.
Again, I don't even know if this is possible. Any suggestions on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated.

There is a different Technology Stack associated with the Enterprise Business Suite (EBS). amitphynyl is correct with the description of how to create a button with the edit.ico assigned to it, but with the EBS, you will want to speak to your DBA to get a list of all the Icons that are available as you will have more icons with the EBS than are available with a standard install of Forms Builder 6i. I would also suggest you ask your DBA to give you a copy of all the Icons so you can add them to your Forms Builder installation so they will be available to you during design of your Form.
I would also recommend that you review the Oracle Applications User Interface Standards for Forms-Based Products guide in the Oracle Applications Documentation web site to ensure your Custom Form conforms to Oracle guidelines.

Have a look at the menu file/process multiple files. You can choose to add your signature (or the caption) to the image and export the new files.
If that solution is not flexible enough, consider using the very affordable (12$) Elements+ add-on which offers a 'meta stamp' script :

You can incorporate an FLVPlayback component that automatically loads the desired video. You could also make use of the NetStream class instead of having the component. Google either one to get information on using them.

How to create a standard report that allows filtering?

Hi Guys and Gals,
Sometimes, the standard report is great because it gives the user the feeling of a grid. i.e. All of the values are editable on one page, kind of like a spreadsheet. That is sometimes very useful. But if there is a lot of data, a filtering mechanism is necessary.
So will one of you Apex gurus please tell me how to create a standard report that also allows data filtering?
Allowing the user to specify the number of rows displayed would be peachy-keen too.

i'm not sure, but you can set the alpha value to 0 in all pixels which are 'in' the background..

Hi , im new around java and i need a program that keeps on repeating after each each input/uses(generally meant for different user) and cannot either stop using "Cancel" or "x" while stopping only using the "stop" button
I got a few lines of codes that look like this : String arg = "";

and it cannot be stop with both cancel and"x"(which i wanted)

I would like to know if there is a way to create two buttons, each on the left and right hand sides of the screen, that would control the horizontal (x-axis) scroll of my website. How to create professional image of multiple screenshots

I have Adobe Photoshop CS5.
I want to create one image of 3 screenshots of web pages with transformed perspective so they can all three fit into a small rectangle and throw proper shadows in relation to eachother. I have seen very profeessional samples of something like this, but no matter how hard I try I cannot seem to acheive a really polished professional look. For example, once I use the transform tool to alter their perspective it seems the edges loose their streightness (a little bit of fuzz is now part of the edge), which takes away from the polished professional look of the image. Also there must be a proper way to have the three layers throw their shadows to each other so as to be near picture perfect?
I am asking the experts on this forum if they can point me to some guide on how to accomplish this with professional look.
I would upload a sample of what I am trying to accomplish but the file upload is disabled for this site - hope the alternate explanation above is enough.

There's always more than one way to do things, but here's how I'd do it:
Basically, you'll want to paste your multiple screens into a single document as separate layers. Make your Layers palette visible; you're going to need to select different layers to do things to them. Layers nearer the top of the stack show "in front" of layers below.
You might want to expand the canvas to give you room around the windows.
Use the Transform tool to give the screens perspective, and move them around with the move tool..
Create a backdrop with a couple of runs of the gradient tool with rectangular selection.
Create some new layers in between the screens to make shadows. You can use a selection made with the Polygonal lasso tool to create straight-edged selections to limit where you paint into the shadows layer, and a big brush with partial Opacity or Flow to make the shadow partially transparent.
Your layers will look something like this:
