How to create documentation?
I have seen several java/j2ee programs which have their documentation and it looks exactly like the documentation that this sun website has!
How do we create such documentation..?
example: Websphere gives sample code to run to test the server.. They also give Javadoc which is specific to that application and yet it looks like suns documentaion??
Can someone explain this?

In the left hand panel select your appliacion components (for Example:
Human Resource - > Recuitment -> Queries -> select any one query)
It will disply Technical name, Based on the InfoCube, Use and what are the
Free characteristics, characteristics, Keyfigures etc.
Now Create one Excel Sheet.
and create your document and show to your client.
If your client wants sample preview, then copy this query and check in the
BEx analyser. cut and copy that preview in your Excel sheet.
Then the Document looks beautiful...

You should be looking into com.sap.security.api.IUserFactory, methods newUser(String) which gives you and IUserMaint and commitUser(IUserMaint, IUserAccount) -- IUserAccount can be obtained using com.sap.security.api.IUserAccountFactory, method newUserAccount(String)

How to create a database for sample code from Tutorial/Book?
I want to try out the sample code from [http://shop.oreilly.com/product/0636920013471.do] for the book SQL Pocket Guide 3rd Ed.
I have downloaded the oracle vm/appliance for oracle 11g2 and I have started sqlplus as sysdba.
I'm feeling overwhelmed with these links describing how to create a database:

(1) What is the command to list the existing databases?
(2) What is the command to delete an existing database?
(3) When creating a new database with the create database command, is it necessary to specify the logfile, character set, national character set, datafile, sysaux datafile, undo tablespace, temp table space? Do these have reasonable defaults? I'm not sure what proper directories are to specify for Linux and the examples are for windows.
Can someone give me a simplified create database command to create a database called 3rdEdPocketGuide? Should I follow the example at [http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Oracle-7-HOWTO-3.html] and instead of orcl use 3rdEdPocketGuide?
(4) What command do I use to execute the script that comes with the book SQL Pocket Guide 3rd Ed? This is the script that has all the drop table, create table and insert commands in it.
(5) What command do I use in sqlplus to set the current default database prior to running this script? Perhaps this is the connect command? I don't want my script to create tables in the system database.
(6) I tried the command "connect 3rdEdPocketGuide" and it prompted for a password! Yikes! What password? Do I need to specify a password when I create a database? I cannot tell if I have successfully created such a database or it is just prompting me for a password to thwart malicious users. Is it is possible to create databases which don't require a password or maybe a zero length password?

With a lot of pictures I want to have a database to gather some information about these pictures.
First question is how to generate a record based on a file in the file system?
e.g. the pictures are "c:\fotos\2009\01\disc_001.jpg" to "c:\foto\2009\01\dis_98.jpg" .
now i want to create records with as one of the attributes the name of the picture (not the picture itself). how to create these records (based on the information of the file-ssytem). i.e. the number of records should be the same as the number of pictures.

I think that simulates what you're trying to accomplish. I've set up the simplest method I could think of.
The report is based on an apex collection. If you are not familiar with that, you should study the documentation: APEX_COLLECTION
To recreate my example you should:
1) create an (interactive) report on your collection
SELECT *
FROM APEX_collections
WHERE collection_name = 'MY_COLLECTION'
2) create a page_item select list for the tables you want to display (in my case this is called "P38_TABLES" )
3) create a dynamic action that triggers on change of your select list page_item. The dynamic action must be a PL/SQL procedure perfoming the following code:

I am trying to create user accounts via PowerShell instead of the Gui in server 2008 R2 (PowerShell 2.0).
I know how to create a user account with the following Power Shell command below is one from a dummy domain I created to practice.

I then would go into the gui pull up the user that they want to mirror right click him and choose copy. This would create a new user account that I would then fill out.
I am wondering if its possible to do this same thing via PowerShell, or if its not an option because it takes more work type up everything than it does to go into the gui and do it.

With this, whenever you find another cool command that helps you in the user creation process, you can simply add it, similar to what I did in these examples.
And if it all didn't make much sense, go through the tutorials in proper order and come back - it'll make much more sense then.

I'm a newbies in using MaxDB and still learning on it.
I've installed MaxDB Database Manager 7.6
I need help from all the experts here on the following "dumb" questions from me.
1) I can't create, modify or delete any table / data with Database Manager, am I right?
2) Should I start creating / populating tables with sqlcli or dbmcli? I was informed that I should use sqlcli instead or dbmcli.
3) What is the syntax for me to create new table, as well as add, modify and delete data within it?
Please assist to provide some guidance or at least point me to the right direction interm of documentation available.

Nope - the Database Manager is not able to to "sql-stuff".
You would want to use the Database Studio or the SQL Studio for that.
But as you're starting to learn anyhow, just go for the more modern Database Studio.
It combines the features of Database Manager and SQL Studio into one tool.

Why would you want to learn SQL by working with command line tools?
Really, go for the Database Studio instead.
For simple SQL stuff via command line you may use sqlcli.

You definitively need
a) read the tutorial in the [documentation|http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_7/d0/3e345709c044d4a954e3a8d0be0867/content.htm]
and
b) get a SQL learning book to really understand the concepts behind relational databases and the query language.
Learning SQL is not about knowing how to type the commands.
Most users learn the commands rather quickly.
But fully understanding the set-approach of relational databases and how to create and use those databases correctly is often not learned.
So make sure not to fall into this trap!

How to create view like Facebook - Profile, Wall portion in my iphone apps
Hi,
I have to create same that type of view for my application. my requirement like that i have one question and user can give answer of my question with unlimited number of lines. SO obviously we have to use UITableView. Now problem is that how can i decide my table row height and if there is two lines then answer portion should be small and if answer portion is big then it should be large with unlimited answers.
Does anyone know how to create this type of table view.

i suggest reading some documentation. First you nedd to "tell" the tableView that it's rows are of different height. So you need to implement "tableView:heightForRowAtIndexPath:"
To calculate the height needed for a specific text you can use one of the "sizeWithFont" methods of NSString class. (http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/UIKit/Reference/NSStringUIKitAdditions/Reference/Reference.html) -

- More than likely the extension RPD was not used by anything else when Siebel Analytics first started using it, no doubt the 'RP' is repository, so use 'Definition' or 'Design' as you like. Im pretty sure there is nothing in the documentation but i've not checked, maybe you could check and let us know?
3) Dynamic variables would be something like 'CURRENT_MONTH' where the same query does not need to fire per user (ie SESSION variable) but needs to be periodically refreshed. Another use of you dynamic variable might be 'LAST_ETL_DATE' or somethng similar which might implement with your event polling table. By including the Variable within a Business Model, all cache for the Business Model is purged whenever the Variable's value changes. -
How to create a static library in Xcode 4.2
I need to make a static library from a project that consists of only two files, a c module and a header file. I haven't used Xcode before, but had no problem figuring out how to create a new project and setting up what seemed like reasonable the build options, and the build reports success. But no output files are being created.
I figured it was time to dig into the documentation, but when I did some searching I turned up several horror stories about not being able to get this to work. And from people who appear to know a lot more about this than I do. So I thought I'd ask--is it a problem doing what ought to be a relatively simple task using Xcode 4.2?
This is not an iOS thing, just a C function that I need to call from Python.

I have now managed to get it to build static libraries; the piece I was missing was the scheme stuff. I also tried to build dynamic libraries, but still no luck with those. It was a little confusing because sometimes if I started a new project the scheme would allow me to create output as is; other times I had to edit the scheme first. So reading the documentation appears to have paid off after all.
FWIW, what I was trying to build was a missing library needed for a project in Python. The entire project has two C libraries, which I've managed to build now, altough I don't know if there are some specific options that I need to set for them to work with the C wrapper. The C wrapper is written in Cython, which creates a C file from Python-like statements. The end result of linking the two libraries and the compiled C wrapper should be a file that can be imported into Python, which should have an extension of ".so".
So far the last part is not working, so I don't know if the problem is with the build settings for the libraries, or something else.
