How to create multiple pdf Files out of multiple pages documents??

I wrote multiple pages documents and stored them in a directory. That is nice, but now I want to transfer them all into pdf files.
Is there a way to do this or do I have to open them one by one an select "Print" and so on??

Pages 5 has virtually no AppleScript support so it would be difficult to even make an Automator workflow to do what you want.
So yes you will have to make a pdf of each one. Be warned that Pages 5 stuffs up links after the first pages of pdfs.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder if you had it previously.
Archive/trash Pages 5, after Exporting your files to Pages '09, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

  • How to create one pdf file out of several pages documents?

I have created several seperate pages documents and want to merge them now to one pdf file. Currently if have exported only single pages documents in the pdf format to the documents app from readdle. I would prefer to order them in pages (e.g. in a folder) and convert the whole folder afterwords to a single pdf document.
Maybe there is another and better way to do it. Your help is very welcome.

    In iOS:
Combine the pages files into a single document, (Pages will not batch print)or
Find an app for iOS that will facilitate combining PDF files into a singe file. (To be honest, I have my doubts about finding one).

  • How do I create 1 pdf file out of multiple pdf's

I have about 40 individual pdf files that I'd like to turn into 1 file with 40 pages.  How do I do it?
    Thank you, Joe

    Hi Captain Puget,
You can use either Adobe PDF Pack of Acrobat to combine PDF files. With PDF Pack, you can combine 12 files at once, so you'd have to combine in batches. You wouldn't have that same limitation with Acrobat.
Please see cloud.acrobat.com and www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

  • Is anyone know how to create dynamic pdf file from a JSP page or Servlet ?

    Hi
Is any one know how to create a dynamic PDF file from JSP or servlet. I need to have standard form format needs to be created and want to send the info to that form dynamically.
    Is there any libraries available?
    Thanks

I posted a link in this thread to a lib that lets you create PDFs from an app. They have a Java version. I have not used it but I know someone who used it with Microsoft ASP and they liked it.

  • How to combine 2 pdf files into a 1 page document?

  • How to create a pdf file from multiple images ?

    Dear All,
I want to create a SINGLE page pdf file from two or more page size images that are combined to make a single page pdf. Again, this question is on pdfs that are made out of several, atleast  two color images and a black-and-white mask for one of them.
I have such pdf files from an unknown source (the producer is edited out) whereby there are three tiff images, obtained using the well known pdfimages extractor.
When I want to make a pdf out of tiff or png or other image formats, I right click and tell Adobe Acrobat to make a pdf.
However, I dont know how I can give a command to select say,  three tif images and specify which is the mask for which and then join  them in a way that I get the pdf from the composite of the two color images and a mask for one of them.
    Please help me out.
I am a little familiar with the pdf structure skeleton and when necessary, fixed xref tables in one of my favorite editors. A few years ago, I also wrote a bunch of javascripts to make some annotations and needed some automation and used some itext type libraries. However, I need your help in this problem as I am now rusty and forgot some of what I studied to solve my earlier problems. This is a new problem for me. Gentle hints from you would be very nice to help me in this problem. Please specify if necessary what manual and pages to read. in the pdfspec.

I would gladly mention that I am working on windows platform, preferably XP.
I can also work on linux for free products that come with it.

But adding other products, for the help of an adobe products user,
even if it outside adobe, shall add greater prestige to your company
    and give impression of user-centeredness.

Well, just add the few pdf stanzas since you are proficient on it and
I am presently a little rusty as I mentioned. Just asking a little
extra yard, not even to go an extra mile.

Well, ascii format or uncompressed format that is human readable. I
know its a binary file, but human readable ascii version of it.
I hope you can give me some stanza and various other approaches
possible so I can select or combine things for myself. I see only a
miniscule number of posts claiming to have written masks in this forum
    and then with no details.

  • How to create a PS file out of Freehand MX?

I am new to these forums, and wonder if anyone can help
    clarify a question:
How to create a PS file with fonts embedded, out of Freehand
    MX?
I am very late in making the transition to OSX /Freehand MX /
    CS1 (better late than never).
Up until recently I have been using Freehand 8/9 under OS 9.2
to create a Postscript file, selecting 'Embed All Fonts' in the
save to file dialog box. Then distilling the PS file through
Acrobat Distiller 5 with press ready settings. All works fine and
no problems with the printed results.
Now running FH MX under OSX (10.2.8 Jaguar?) I have added a
virtual PS printer but I am unable to work out how to successfully
embed fonts, and would much appreciate any advice!! Thanks in
    advance.

I would be careful saying that the resolution is correct for
    any
publication. Newspaper print is typically at 85 lpi where as
    standard
press printing (even magazines) is 150 lpi or higher. These
    require 170
and 300 ppi images, respectively. Not knowing what the
    D6Dispatch
preset gives you I would think it's closer to 170 than 300
    which would
not be enough for most print needs other than newspaper.
Also, your directions for finding the PS option are when
    using OS X 10.3
or earlier, which is what the original poster is using. For
    others, in
10.4, it is found in the "PDF" button found at the bottom of
    all option
sections. It is labeled oddly as "Save PDF as PostScript".

  • How to create a pdf-file dynamically

    Hi all,
does anybody have a tutorial or self-made code, in which is illustrated, how to dynamically create a pdf-file.
I am getting some information like this: "Line one has a textfield and an input-field", etc. These informations have to be translated as a pdf-file by myself.
I read, that a pdf-file needs a xdp and the data as an inputstream. Is there anybody who can explain this issue?
I think, that there are a lot of people, who are interested in this problem.
    Thank you for your help.
    Kind regards, Patrick.

  • How do I move PDF files out of iBooks and into Goodreader?

Question. How do I move my PDF files out of iBook and into Goodreader. ??

I may havE found why the files disappear in the first place.
In iTunes, after connecting your iPad, check on the sync list. Click the "books" tab and be sure that "Books and PDF files" is selected. Then go thru the list and be sure all the PDF files you want to save are checked.
Perhaps this wasn't done causing the PDF files to not be synced and thus restored during the conversion to iOS5.
Thanks for your help. I will stop worrying about it and in any case, I  now have several ways to recover those PDF files.

  • FireFox 3.6.13 Locks up Microsoft XPS Document Writer, PDF995 (created Acrobat pdf file output) stops printing mid document, and Internet Explorer works fine

Microsoft XPS Document Writer locks up and PDF995.com (creates acrabat pdf file) stops printing after the second page from this site http://super.nova.org/DPR/CinematicApproach/. This was a Windows 7, 64 bit machine that had the issue. Microsoft Internet explorer works fine and printed the document with Internet Explorer.
The machine that displayed FireFox printing issues was a up to date Win 7, 64 bit, Quad Core, 8 Gig Ram. Don't really have a question just reporting a FireFox Bug.

    Hi,
do you have a solution for the problem? We have actually a similar problem with locked IE8 when using a zoom factor > 100% (it's a customer WD4A).
