How to create prompt for inline filter?

HI All. Can anyone plz help me, how to create prompt for inline filter?
Let me give an examle...
Suppose I've taken two columns as # of New Invoices and # of Cancelled Invoices
Now, If I set a date prompt / month prompt, then the "# of cancelled invoices" column will fetch the number of cancelled invoice for that month only, which I have chosen in the prompt. But I want the "# of cancelled invoices" column to fetch data for the month chosen by me in another prompt.
So, can anyone help me with the sql statement, which will fetch the prompt data (i.e., month / date chosen by the user) automatically and will furnish the result accordingly.

To create a column prompt:
To create a dashboard prompt, use the following sub-procedure.
Navigate to the Oracle BI Enterprise Edition Home page, locate the global header, hover the mouse pointer over the New menu to access the menu, and select Dashboard Prompt. From the Select Subject Area menu, select the subject area for which you want to create a prompt. The "Definition pane" is displayed.
Click the New toolbar button in the Definition Pane to access the prompt type selection list. From the list, select Column Prompt. The "Select Column dialog" is displayed.
Select a column and click OK. The "New Prompt dialog" displays. If your repository is configured for double columns, then ensure that you select the correct display column. For information on double columns, see "Understanding the Double Column Feature".
The number of columns that you include in a prompt can affect performance. In general, you should limit the number of columns to as few as possible.
If you are creating a dashboard prompt and want to add or remove related subject areas, then click the Select subject area button in the "Select Column dialog" to display the "Add/Remove Subject Areas dialog".
To create an inline prompt, use the following sub-procedure.
Create a new analysis or access an existing analysis for which you want to create a prompt. Click the Prompts tab. The "Definition pane" is displayed.
Click the New toolbar button in the Definition Pane to access the prompt type selection list. From the list, select Column Prompt. The analysis' selected columns are displayed in the cascading menu that is adjacent to the Column Prompt selection item.

Could you clarify some things? You are saying you are trying to transform the xml output of a webservice with an xsd, but an xsd is a schema that describes the allowed format of a xml file. If you want to transform xml from one format to an other (from one xsd to an other) you have to use a xsl file. You can make and test this with JDeveloper. Are you calling the webservice from esb or bpel?

Verizon Blackberry Internet Service Client (BIS)- How to create an e-mail Filter

Hello. Thank you in advance for replying to my question. I am trying to create an e-mail filter so that a contact's e-mail messages do not get delivered to my BB and instead just go straight to my regular e-mail account. I understand that you can do this function from the BIS, however when I tried to create an account I received a message that said "please use your device to access the BIS." I did just as the message told me but I did not get the same menu options from my BB as I would have gotten from doing it from the internet. The page only showed a list of my e-mails and an "edit" and "delete" choice for each one. There was no "Filter" button for me to click. I remember a while ago I able to access this page and was able to remove the BB signature (i.e.. "This message is being sent from a BB"), so I know that it was possible to access this page. I do not know why I am not able to accesses it now.
If anyone out there has Verizon and knows how to access the BIS, please let me know how. Or if you know how to create an e-mail filter function, please let me know.

Enter your BIS credentials and you will then be in your BIS account screen. From there, use this KB to create the filter you desire:

You need to create optional date prompt variable in BW which fills your requirement .
Ex : If you require report should always run for 1st of the month to last of month .Then create Optional date variable in BW with interval .write customer exit ,
if from date is left blank it should take 1st of the month and if todate is left blank it should take last of the month .
when creating webi schedules , leave prompts as blank.

Below the field for the view cluster you have an additional field FORM routines main program. There you have to add the main program containing the FORM routines called by the VC events.
For example: I had defined a normal report containing an include with all the FORM routines. The report contains only the following lines of coding:
report zus_0120_u1.
* Common Data und access routines for user exits in VC maintenance
include LSVCMCOD.
include zus_0120_f1. "FORM routines for VC events
Now in the "Events" dialog of the view cluster maintenance you assign your FORM routines to the events.

1. First search for a standard search help meeting your requirement .
2. If you don't find one, create your own custom (z) serach help .
( 1 is preferable )
After that, include that serch help to the standard field in the transaction .
For this u need to go to the screen
( F1->F9-> screen-> Field )
Click on the property of the field and include the search help .
You ll require the access key from the basisi guys as u r changing standard .

Whenever you start a program in which selection screens are defined, the system displays a set of input fields for database-specific and program-specific selections. To select a certain set of data, you enter an appropriate range of values.
For further information about selection screens, refer to Selection Screens in the ABAP User's Guide.
If you often run the same program with the same set of selections (for example, to create a monthly statistical report), you can save the values in a selection set called a variant
Procedure
To create a new variant:
       1.      On the ABAP Editor initial screen, enter the name of the program for which you want to create a variant, select Variants, and choose Change.
       2.      On the variant maintenance initial screen, enter the name of the variant to be created.
Note the naming convention for variants (see below).
       3.      Choose Create.
If the program has more than one selection screen, a dialog box for screen assignment appears. The dialog box does not appear if the program only has one selection screen. The selection screen appears in this case.
       4.      If there is more than one selection screen, select the screens for which you want to create the variant
5.      Choose Continue.
The (first) selection screen for the report appears.
If your program has more than one selection screen, use the scroll buttons in the left-hand corner of the application toolbar to navigate between them and to fill the fields with values. If you keep scrolling forwards, the Continue button appears on the last selection screen.
       6.      Enter the desired selection values, including multiple selection and dynamic selection.
       7.      Choose Continue.

Are you using FM "CONVERT_DATE_TO_EXTERNAL" before passing delivery date? If not, use FM like this, before passing the date to BAPI_PO_CREATE1 and it might work
DATA: vf_doc_date(10),
             internal_date TYPE d.
     vf_doc_date = sy-datum.              "Document date.
     internal_date = vf_doc_date.
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERT_DATE_TO_EXTERNAL'
    EXPORTING
      date_internal            = internal_date
    IMPORTING
      date_external            = vf_doc_date
    EXCEPTIONS
      date_internal_is_invalid = 1
      OTHERS                   = 2.

How to create Headervariable for File adapter in 11g SOA Suite?

Hi All
My process in reading file and I wanted to know the exact name of the File.
In 10g, we have fileAdapterInboundHeader.wsdl and create HeaderVariable using message type used in this wsdl and can get file and directory name in this variable But in 11g we dont have any wsdl like this.
Can anybody give me some idea how to create Headervariable for Inbound file adapter to get file name?
