hello to all , i am doing my b.e cse .
at current v r studing DB and pl/sql codes ....
i just need to know simple way of code to insert images and audio files in a table .
i tried some of these ,
CREATE TABLE myTable(Document varbinary(max))
INSERT INTO myTable(Document)
SELECT * FROM
OPENROWSET(BULK N'C:\Image1.jpg', SINGLE_BLOB)
but not workiing
it shows some errors.
i use oracle 10g. thank u :) and also i tried using blob and bfile datatypes , table created but cannot insert values !

The idea is to maintain consistency and save table design time. If columns created previously can be re-used and require drag and drop of column in the right pane, then only new columns need to be manually created.

I checked out the video and tried it in Oracle designer, it works and works great!
My other question is that I may have several set of columns that I may want to group depending on the table requirements. Can I have multiple templates and choose which one to apply to?
Also, how do I choose the table where the table template needs to be applied. As I may be interested in applying the table template to selected tables only.

Should I create table before insert xml files

I am developing a application that insert various xml files
into oracle8i dbms..
So, I am studying Oracle XML SQL Utility and I understood that
I should create appropriate tables suit for the XML files..
(tag <--> table column name...) before insert them to the dbms.
But In my project, the xml file is not fixed.
And new XML files (new tag name, new DTD required) can be
generated by the end user.
Is there any solution??? create table suit for xml
automatically..

Hi,
One more thing is that, you can use XSLT to transform any
document that you get into a canonical representation that u can
then use to put into the database.
For example, if the user gave,
<univ>
<college name="eng">
<...>
</college>
</univ>
you can then use XSLT to transform it into all-element form,
such as,
<univ>
<college>
<name>engineering</name>
</college>
</univ>
and use OracleXMLSave to put it into the database. Also if you
have structured XML elements you can map them nicely into object
types in Oracle 8.
Regarding creating the table, for the exampe that you showed,
you can create an object type column for storing it,example,
CREATE TYPE college_type AS OBJECT
name VARCHAR2(50),
dept department_type,
CREATE TYPE department_type AS OBJECT
name VARCHAR2(40),
CREATE TABLE univ_tab ( college college_type);
You could have also created object views over multiple
relational tables and achieved the same.

Table that i can add rows and column and will show it in the form.

you said you have your digital signature in
BMP format? That means Bitmap and would mean you are actually talking about a picture! THIS IS NOT A DIGITAL SIGNATURE!
A digital signature is a cryptographic key (aka public key cryptography) that is used to digitally sign a document, or at least a hash value derived from the document. Digitally signing means, applying the key in a well defined way (this is the algorithm used) to the document or hash value. You do this with your private key and the receiver of the document can then use your public key (which you can distribute in any way you want, even unsecure) to unencrypt the hash value. If this succeeds the receiver knows that the document was signed by you.
This is because both keys are mathematically related in such a way, that what one key encrypted can only be decrypted by the corresponding other key and by no other key. You even can´t decrypt a document with the same key it was encrypted with, this is the difference to symmetric encryption - please have a look at help.sap.com and search for digital signatures.
The named formats (afs, pfx and p12) are ways of coding the key, together with information about your person, such as email address and information about validity of the key into a
certificate. This type of certificate is then called a x.509 certificate and is the same you might have seen when connecting to a secure webserver such as the one of your bank website.
Signing a form with such a certificate provides for mathematically and therefore business related proove of a users identity.
In case you are really using a bitmap, this cannot work and would not serve you any good.
Ask yourself this question: I want to make sure that the form was signed by a specific person. How can I make sure that the signing can only be done by the person pretending to have done so?
A bitmap contains a picture, probably of the persons handwritten signature. How can I make sure that this picture was NOT recreated in MS Paint or Photoshop by someone else?
The answer is:
you can't! Therefore this way of prooving identity is useless.
You need to provide your users with digital signatures, put these in the certificate cache of your IE. If a user then clicks on the signing field, the private key is used to digitally sign the form - create a hash value of the form and encrypt it with the private key. After the form is send back to the server or you, you use the corresponding public key to decrypt the hash value and, as said above, if this succeeds, identity of the signer is proven.
THIS IS AN OVERSIMPLIFICATION! You might want to take a look at Adobe Reader Credentials.

Hi,
Table Maintenance generator is required to do Manual entries in the Table. If the requirement is to update the table only programmatically and not manually then table maint. generator is not required.
Manual entries in table can be maintained ( New record can be inserted / existing can be modified ) using transaction SM 30, if the table maintenance for the table is generated.
How to activate Table maint.
Goto SE11 and open the table.
Click UTILITIES -> Table Maint. Generator, Enter the details and click on Save. Then activate the table.

If u have a screen exit..then u will have a option to create a sub screen..in that sub screen u activate the pai and pbo events..it will show u where to write the code..

Insert Link and Insert Image broken in Chrome

The Insert Link and Insert Image buttons have been broken in my Chrome for at least the last couple of days (latest version, 32.0.1700.72 m, Windows 7 64).
When you click one of the buttons, the overlay window appears with a title, but it is otherwise black with no contents. (See screenshot below.)
The buttons work fine in Firefox. What hasn't helped: deleting cookies, clearing the browser cache, waiting for several minutes for their content to appear.

The fact is the customer is no longer the prime concern. Most companies don't give a Rats behind (toned down to prevent censors action) about the customers. It's the almighty dollar. We have lost, the fight can't be won. It no use. So Pat and others are right.
I've been trying for 15 years for adobe to fix the issue of having multiple Pdfs created from Office documents because the claim they can't figure out how MS does Page and section breaks. And the issue of Weblinks not being active when converted to PDF's Both on Mac's yet on PC's there is no issue. I quite this year after I received a down right nasty not from Adobe say they didn't have any interest in fixing the bugs and were not about to try. What it amounted was go take a flying leap.
They have the ability. They have beenblaming Its apple because they don't do such and such , or Microsoft because they don't do so and such. On the Links issue Saying MS doesn't provided the necessary hooks in the mac version of Office. They do you can take a Word document created on a Mac and open a PC and create a PDF and the links will be active. You can Open a Word Document in Apple's pages and all links created in Office document will be there. The argument has been proven several different ways to be a an outright bald-faced lie. The defect is squarely with the Mac version of Acrobat.
So Pat and others are right. Just throw in that towel. Adobe support of its customers is now 10 times worse than intuit's which is supposed have the lowest reputation of any software compny that ever existed.

Can anyone explain how to create this effect in Deamweaver and Fireworks?

Define one variable in the TOP include with type STRING means Global variable.

For this case.. Create one table control. you can select one record and create record in the Z table by pressing button on Application toolbar..

For Script:
A barcode solution consists of the following:
- a barcode printer
- a barcode reader
- a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.
The next part of the equation can be a bit tricky as you will need to get a printer to print that barcode font. Regular laser printers does not normally print barcode fonts, only specialized industrial printers that is specifically designed to support that protocol and that uses specialized label media and heat transfer (resin) ribbon to create the sharp image required for barcodes.
Not to fear though, there are two ways to get around this:
- You can have your IT department do some research -
most laser printers can accept a font cartridge/dimm chip (similar to computer memory), called a BarDIMM that will allow a laser printer to support the printing of barcodes.
- Secondly, you can buy software that you can upload in your SAP print Server that will convert the barcode symbology as an image that will print on a regular laser printer. I found that this option results in less sharper barcodes. This option is really if you need to convert a large quantity of printers (>10) to support barcodes.
- Thirdly, you can buy a third party software like Barcode.dll and install on your frontend PC connected to the laser printer.
Now you have a barcode printed - what next?
Well there are two options, depending on your business requirements:
- You can use an existing SAP transaction on a regular workstation and get a barcode wedge reader to hook up between the keyboard and the PC. These wedge readers comes in a wand or scanner format. There are even wireless wedge scanners available that allows you to roam a few yards from the workstation to scan a label. This approach is mostly used where you want to prevent human errors in typing in long material, batch or serial numbers in receiving or issuing of material. The problem is that it's just replacing the keyboard input and you are basically locked down in one location and have to bring all the material to that location to process.
- Another solution is to use SAPConsole transactions
or write your own ABAP Dialog programs that will fit onto a barcode enabled wireless handheld terminal and that will follow the business logic as executed on the shop floor.
These programs are highly complex exercises in industrial engineering and ergonomics because of the limited screen sizes and limited ability to accept keyboard input. The user is instructed step-by-step and only scan and push F-keys to interact with the SAP system. Scan, scan, beep, beep, enter - highly automated.

When you create a request with only dimension columns, the Oracle BI engine has to choose a fact table to join the dimensions to each other. If you have multiple fact tables in your BMM layer, the Oracle BI engine will use the most economical fact table, depending on the number of dimensions of the fact table.
In some cases you do not want to use this fact table, but you want to force the Oracle BI engine to use the fact table you want.
In that case you should create a fact (or select an existing fact) of the fact table you want to use for the dimension only query. In the presentation catalog of the subject area you should select this fact as the implicit fact. This fact will always be used in the query, but it won't be visible in your report. An example of an implicit fact is the count of the primary key (id) of the fact table.

Hi,
Your question is not clear for me. Since it is a TEM infotype, it could be a PD infotype.
If you wish to create a PD infotype, use transaction PPCI to create the infotype.
But before that you need to create a structure HRInnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
If you wish to create a PA infotype, use transaction PM01 to create the infotype.
But before that you may be required to create a strcuture PSnnnn (where nnnn is the infotype number) with all the fields relevant for the infotype.
