This seems to be exactly what you want.
Since they have a separate "download" and "purchase" section, it's not clear to me if you have to pay the $49 license fee to use the utility. You may have to purchase the license to get batch processing.
Even if you do have to pay, my philosophy in life is that if someone can rescue some important pictures with their $49 utility, then it's worth the price.

First off what Adobe 9? Adobe is a BRAND not a product and doesn't tell us enough to provide a specific answer. But you can't simply transfer the program.
Second, are you trying to transfer the actual program or the license? To transfer the license you will probably need to call Adobe Customer Support to handle. You'll need to use the original disk it came on to install it on the new system or download the latest installer file to install from depending on what Adobe product it is. Which method you use will depend on which Adobe product it is. If it is one of the paid for programs you'll need to use the product key that accompanied the install disk. If it is one of the free Adobe programs like Adobe Acrobat Reader there is no product key required so you just need to download the latest installer from Adobe and install it.
Now here is where it get's tricky. If it is one of the paid for products like Adobe Photoshop Elements that was installed on the first laptop when you purchased it, the license might be tied to the ORIGINAL laptop and can not legally be transfered to the new one. You would need to contact Adobe Customer Support to determine that.
Third, are there files that you have created or are working on that need to be transfered as well?
If you have addditional questions or something doesn't make sense please post back and include ALL of the following information.
COMPLETE model number of the old laptop and the new laptop. If you aren't from the USA you'll need to include the part numbers for each as well.
EXACTLY which Adobe product you are referring to.
Did the Adobe product come pre-installed on the orignal laptop or was it purchased seperately.
Do you have files created with the program that you also need to transfer?

How To Extend Adobe Audition CS5.5

I've received a number of questions on how to extend Adobe Audition with questions similar to:

I had made a post similar to this in the public beta of Audition for Mac, but I can no longer find the thread. So I'll reiterate some stuff here:

Most of you have found this already, but the best place to start is in the Audio Plug-In Manager
If you want to "write" new plug-ins for Audition, writing a VST plug-in will be the best option as it will allow you to write something that will work on Windows as well as OSX. Info on writing a VST plug-in may be found here (http://www.steinberg.net/en/company/developer.html)
Adding Audio Unit Plug-Ins (Mac OSX)
Same as Above.   Note that OSX ships with some built-in AU plug-ins that Audition can utilize for free if you just scan at least once.   We don't scan on startup because there's several plug-ins out there in the world that don't behave well. Adding more import formats via libsndfile
libsndfile is an open-source C library for reading and writing audio files (http://www.mega-nerd.com/libsndfile/)   Ambitious people could download the source, write support for another format, and create their own custom-rolled library of libsndfile. You would then replace the version of libsndfile with which Audition CS5.5 ships, with the one you rolled.   Due to the way we use libsndfile, any format you add would show up in Audition.   This is also true if there's an official update to libsndfile that comes out in the future, you could just plop it in and it should work.
If you're interested in exporting or writing formats that libnsdfile supports, please tell us which formats are the most important to you and in what way you use them in your workflow.
Adding more import formats via QuickTime components
QuickTime has the ability to be extended via QuickTime Components.   There's several examples out there, but here are some websites to check out:

At this time, we haven't released an SDK for Audition.   If you're interested in one, however, please tell us what you would want from an SDK for Audition and we'll take it into consideration.

could you please also advise what PC users can do to make common avi files useable in AA CS5.5? The obvious problem is, no matter how many exotic video formats a PC can play by way of video-for-windows codecs, these are useless for Quicktime, because Quicktime on the PC needs codecs specifically written for "Quicktime for Windows", which are, as I've come to find, EXTREMELY rare. So far I've only found ONE, sold by 3ivx, but this costs as much as the AA CS5.5 update itself. Without them, Quicktime on the PC will only handle mov files, which are not too popular on the PC. Is there any other way out of this?

To elaborate on what Larry said, with Win, once installed you should be able to get it to work fine, using Right-click the icon on your desktop or the shortcut on the Start menu, and then click Properties, then choose the (highest) compatible Windows version (XP for 10). With Mac, impossible.
And as Doug said, activation, and hence deactivation, only came to haunt folk later.

If you only want to transfer the photos, import them from your old phone to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, then put them in a folder and sync them to your new phone by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. Are these pictures on your iPod no longer stored on your PC or in a backup somewhere? If so, you'll need the help of third party software to assist you with the task of extracting the photos from your iPod to your PC. Keep in mind that these synced photos are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of the original.
If you stored these photos in full resolution, see this article for instructions on copying them from your iPod back to your PC.
