How to delete a TV show from my iPhone?

The "slide & delete" option is n/a because iTunes says this TV show was a "Failed download". However, 3.5 GB of my phone space is still being occupied by "Other" (Video).
For some awful reason, the iTunes program on my laptop will not let me right-click delete the TV show out of my TV Shows Library either. I cannot sync my iPhone with new music and organize it because all this space is being taken up. I'm so frustrated I could cry.

I downloaded - what I thought was a full length tv show - it was a short trailer that I could not seem to remove.
I tried through my iphone 4s (iOS 6.1), through itunes and looked for numerous blogs and "help sites" but to know avail...it was still there.
When I would try the "slide and delete" method - that was not my option - all I could do was "hide" it. I did not just want to unselect it from iphone - I wanted it gone. it was zero use to me.
Give this a try... it sure seems to have rid both itunes and my iphone of this little pest...
Settings - general - usage (wait til all the apps load) - and then select what you want to delete (videos/tv shows - I don't remember what it was called) and DELETE!!!!
I have synced since then and it does not show on itunes or iphone still - YIPPEE!!

I use Gmail and have the email accounts set up as "imap". I would like to be able to delete emails from my iPhone 5, yet have them remain on the server. I read on the internet that it can only be done by changing the accounts from imap to pop3 accounts. However, since I also have an iMac and an iPad 3, I still want to be able to sync these so the emails can be retrieved on any of the devices.
I supose that the only way to do this is to remain with "imap" accounts. But, there may be another problem. I was under the assumption that once the iPhone reaches a total of 200 messages, it will start to delete any above this amount. In this case, I will start to lose my messages on the server. Even if this is not the case, I don't want the mobile devices to end up with hundreds of emails that I would like saved.
My question is this: How can I save the emails from the Gmail account to a separate set of folders that will archive these forever (if I choose)? Can a folder be set up on the iMac with subfolders for each category that I want? If so, how is the actual move of the email done? Can it be copied to the new folder immediately so that later when it is deleted from the Gmail account, it is permanently saved in the new Mac folder? Thanks

I know that you can mirror you iPhone's display onto a Apple TV, as can you with the Mac, but I do not think you can mirror your iPhone to your iMac.

If you've synced photos to your iPhone through iTunes, change your sync settings in iTunes to not sync any photos and apply the change.
That will remove all synced photos, but not photos that you've taken with your iPhone's camera -- for those if you've imported them to your computer then to remove them you have to delete them one by one from the iPhone, or use your computer (assuming you have a Mac, iPhoto should allow you to select and delete what's stored on the iPhone, except for synced photos via iTunes).
Then there's iCloud photos. iCloud only holds the last 30 days of photos, but your device will continue to hold them up to the 1000 photo limit, regardless of how old they are. To reduce these, you can delete one by one, or if you Restore your iPhone that will strip off all iCloud photos, and add back only the last 30 days of iCloud photos, assuming you leave the Photo Stream setting ON in iCloud settings.

They are purchased and will always be available in iTunes in iCloud for you to download again if you wish.

For some reason, the Camera & Scanner Wizard has started to detect the phone now. Maybe it will stop again in the future, but for now it's OK.
I do have iTunes installed, and the iPhone's still not appearing in Windows Explorer. I might reinstall if the problem recurs.
Yep, it's an official Apple cable, but it's a bit old. I got it with my iPod a few years back. Maybe i should start using that as the charger cable, and the new cable i got with my iPhone for syncing?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I have tried for single record than also the file generates the last line(2nd line) also a blank line.

I faced similar kind of issue working with files on UNIX platform.
The line is a line feed to remove it use
DATA : lv_carr_linefd TYPE abap_cr_lf VALUE cl_abap_char_utilities=>cr_lf.
DATA : lv_carr_return TYPE char1,
         lv_line_feed   TYPE char1.
lv_line_feed   = lv_carr_linefd(1).
lv_carr_return = lv_carr_linefd+1(1).
Note: IMP: The character in ' ' is not space but is a special
character set by pressing ALT and +255 simultaneosly
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF lv_line_feed IN l_string WITH ' '.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF lv_carr_return IN l_string WITH ' '.

And reconnect again and if it still does that go on an actual computer, log on and delete the mails with ease...
