How to display employee lower hierarchy.

Hi all,
    I am trying to generate a report of manager's lower hierarchy, As to get all the employee who are working under particular manager. But, I want to get his under working employee's under working
employee and so on..,
   I think we have to use loop for this, But how many times shall we run that loop.
Some employee may not have his under working employee and some one may have, but how to get each and every ones record in lower hierarchy.
I am getting his next under working employee by using this code.
Loop at itab_pernr.
   SELECT OBJID

Dear Gurus,
I have a bit of problem to displaying employee's photo in ESS Who's Who via Reverse Proxy.
In my landscape, end-users are only able to reach the Reverse Proxy server, not the actual SAP server itself.
In Who's Who, when displaying the employee's info, the URI for the photo is generated using the actual SAP server name.
Illustration:
- the URI we expect: https://portal.domain.com/sap/bc/contentserver?.....
- the URI we get: http://r3server.domain.com/sap/bc/contentserver?....
Does anyone know where/how I can set the URL (hostname and protocol part) to refer to my reverse proxy?
Or is it because SAP is using an absolute path rather than the relative one?
How do we go about it?

How to display employee photo in pdf through WebDynpro OR ABAP print Progr?

I have uploaded employee photos using TCODE OAOH. Now all the employee photos are stored in Archive link.
Now my requirement is i have get the employee photo and display it in PDF using PDF forms and webdynpro OR using ABAP print program.
I am able to get the employee photo from SAP archive link using ABAP code. After this i have to upload this to MIME reository. From MIME repository i have to display it in PDF forms from WEbDynpro.
I tried with ABAP print program, directly calling the PDF form in program and display the employee data with Employee Photo. With my program i am able to see only employee data. But it's not displaying employee Photo.
Plz any helps to display employee photo in PDF forms using either webdynpro OR ABAP printprogram.
If ur reply is related to WebDynpro, pla tel me how to upload photo to MIME repository From Archive Link.
Since all the employee photos are uploaded into Archive link using Tcode OAOH. From this i have to get the employee photo and upload it to MIME repository and i have to display it in PDF forms.

1)You can use the program BSP_UPDATE_MIMEREPOS to upload the photos in the mime repository.
2)Use the following code to get the content from your mime and set the content to your interactive UI element as Xstring format.
    data:

How to display employee department head?(urgent pls)

Hello Everybody,
I have to write a function. here i am passing person_id(employee) as a parameter to function.
it has to display employee department head person_id.( for example if employee belongs to Department B. Department B is child of Department A. i mean to say that i need to find out head(person_id) of department A)
i try to find out till employee organization_id by using per_all_people_f and per_all_assignments_f tables.
please some one respond. it is bit urgent.

my requirement is when an employee applied for mobil connection, the request has to go to division head(manager) of that employee. here we have there levels 1.Division(First level)2.Department(second level) 3.base(third level).
the employee may related to any level, the request has to go to division head(manager).

How to display an expanded hierarchy in report?

i'm working with BI 7.0. How do I display a completly expanded Hierarchy in my report. At present I see the hierarchy but the nodes need to be manually expanded in the report.

In Query designer under properties of your characteristics there is a separate tab called "hierarchy"; only If hierarchy is active for your characteristic you can change the properties for the hierarchy. If not you will see a message like "no avalaible hierarchy for this characteristics".
If it is active it will be changeable. For autoopen your hierarchy you should select the point "expand till step" and define here till which step you want autoopen your hierarchy.

How can i create a cross tab query for the above records in sql server 2005. and i need the record in the below format:

One could argue that the crosstab is best produced in the presentation layer and that SQL Server should only return the raw data. But if you like to hurt yourself...
First you need an unpivoting query to put starttime, endtime and length in a single row. Since all columns in a row needs to have the same data type, this requires some care.
We take this CTE:

How do you switch the display of a Hierarchy to be collasped?

I need to display a hierarchy in a web app, I need it to default to collapsed rather then expanded.   I am unable to find anything in the query designer properties to control this setting. The one solution I've tried in the Web Template is to add the command SET_DRILL_STATE to the action before rendering property.   But I'm getting an Error which I don't understand.   E180    Illegal Parameter value -666 of Parameter DRILL_STATE of Object command:SET_DRILL_STATE:
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how to switch the initial display of a hierarchy?

If I change the expand to level property to 1, the hierarchy will display down to just the first level. What I really need is to have the hierarchy not show. I believe the 00 indicates the default setting for the hierarchy.
What I need to display is the Key figures with Characteristic Hierarchy below them in the rows. Ideally the hierarchy is not displayed initial but just the carrot next to each key figure.
Key Figures
>Net Revenue $ 0.03 $ (1.39) (98.02) % $ 0.03

Hi,
You might have defined your action type (Table T529A)). For that action, you might have defined an infogroup. Go to that infogroup (Table V_T588D) and select your User group. For example, if your Infogroup is 10 and User group is 01, entry should be in the following manner:
User Group No Operation Infotype Infotype Text Subtype
01 03 INS 0006 Addresses 002

Total Employee headcount = total employee headcount from hierarchy ver 1 + total emp headcount hierarchy ver 2
Which is incorrect and misleading in the reports. (Similar issues for FTE..... )
Firstly, is this normal ----- or has the versioning been implemented incorrectly, or is there missing aggregation at the Ebusiness, BI rpd or dashboard level?
Secondly, what is the best solution to display the relevant hierarchy based on the report dates?
If there is further aggregation needed, how can this be added without needing to update it every time a new employee organization hierarchy version is copied?

For my solution it was done through a button with 2 commands. These commands are SET_HIERARCHY and then SET_AXIS_HIERARCHY. These 2 commands seem to be necessary as the SET_HIERARCHY simply sets the level of where the hierarchy is expanded to and the SET_AXIS_HIERARCHY enables the display of the expanded hierarchy on the axis you choose, usually in the rows.
SET_HIERARCHY:
Data Binding
Characteristic: Organisation Unit
Command-Specific Parameters
Active: On
Heirarchy Identifier
Name of Hierarchy: ORGEH (ORGEH)
Version: 01
Key Date: 0DAT
Initial Drill Level: 16 (Note: this is the maximum level anticipated in Organisation Unit, so fully expanded)
SET_AXIS_HIERARCHY
Data Binding
Axis: ROWS
Command-Specific Parameters
Active: On
Description: Default
Initial Drill Level: 1 (Note: this is the level of the characterisitic Organisation Unit from the query Rows axis, not the hierarchy level)
