How to display Smart form in Multiple Languages ?

Hello,
Very Good evening!
How can I print the Smart Form in Multiple Languages like Korea, German and Japneese....
I got a requirement where I need to display the developed Smart form in these languages. As of now it is displayed only in the Language ENGLISH.
Any Suggestions will be appreciated!

Hello kittu....
I would recommend that you create a single Smart Form in the primary supported language (or the one which you're most comfortable maintaining forms). Embed all necessary logic in this form, and design it with the idea that it would need to be viewable in multiple languages .
Then use transaction SE63 to translate all necessary form components into each desired language -- one by one -- and they will all be bound together under the same form name. In my experience, a basic multi-column spreadsheet (put together with the guidance of professional translators) works well as a translation guide.
The advantages of a single, shared form include: consistent look and feel, avoiding dual maintenance for shared logic (or, in your case, up to 10x maintenance), and simplified output determination. On the other hand, a single form does constrain your design and can make for a more complex implementation.

How to display smart form stored in SAP in Webdynpro java( TLINE table)

I have a requirement where I have to display the smart form from WD Java end.
The BAPI is producing output in TLINE(TDLINE(132),TDFORMAT(2)). I am trying to concat both(TDLINE+TDFORMAT) and put in the interactive form but I am not able to get the output from BAPI.
Is it because the TLINE format is not supported in the WD java. How can I solve the issue.

Alternatively, if you want to place only the static labels, you can convert all the static label in one language to images and set the form language setting to other. And place the images inside the form using Image field. For example, you can keep the form language as English and then convert all the arabic language labels/ Static text to images.
Anotherway,
Have same sections in both the languages and hide and unhide based on the user selection of the language..
if your user chooses Arabic, then you can unhide the Arabic sections and change the form language properties programmatically..

Do u mean the Form output in 2-3 languages ...like form output will be having english russian etc...
for the above case , what u have to do ...
first have to get the transalations for all the fields
say for example : if the english word is PO Number , then u have to get the transalation text for PO Number :
after this , what u have to is ,,, Log on to SAP with russian language , then in the form o/p u have to paste that russian test ( translation text ) ...
do like this for all the components in the form .

Best practice in working with Adobe forms in multiple languages

We have to provide access to some Adobe Interactive Forms in both English and French, some of them from Web Dynpro application(s), some of them as callable objects from Guided Procedures.
1- We know for sure that we can have two copies of each form, one in English and one in French but that implies duplicating the FormCalc and Javascript code behind.
2- Another way if to modify in javascript all labels, captions using some javascript i.e. If lang = "E" then "My label" else "Mon étiquette" . It would work but it is not very efficient.
Is someone here has experience with this type of situation and would be willing to share his experience with me?

For Adobe Forms in multiple language you can use include text solution also . Within this solution you need to add a language parameter in your interface and then retrieve the include text in the language value ( not current language ) . Personnaly i used a lot this solution with Smartforms text .
Also i used dictionnary text for text linked with data dictionnary element . For this there is standard function module in SAP .
Anothers way is in the SFP editor you can translate your form as in SAPSCRIPT .

In my component , I have created the view VIEW_PDF, for this . I have created Adobe interactive UI element, and bind the property source to the attribute (XSTRING) where I will get PDF (after OTF conversion).
First of all I am using the FM SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME and usingf the import parameter fm_name .

Smart forms in different languages

Hi all,
i have an issue
I hav to convert my smart form in 8 different languages.
i know se63 but i dont want to use it as i have to maintain texts manually in different languages in se63.
is there any FM or code with which i can convert my smart form in different languages.
my smart form is originally made in EN language n i hav to convert it to german , italian , french , spanish etc.
please tell me any SAP note no that would be really helpful.

if you do to want to use se63, you have 2 way:
1. use modul text ( see Transaction smartforms, 3°option on the screen)
2. Use a standard text (so10 transaction)
I mean that on smartforms you have to use only this 2 kind of text and, of corse, translate it.

I guess 2 'cause you're just talking about Action, without mentioning the Form.
In STRUTS 1 it goes like this: forward to the page and use logic:iterate tag. Don't know about STRUTS 2, but It shouldn't be too different.

How to allow user to select multiple languages in ESO

Hi Expert,
I need your help on ESO languages capability.
I need to allow end user to change language options like from english to chinese or from chinese to spanish. Now we have this option only tied to profile like user can select only one language in profile in "display langauge" option.
Please help me how to do this in ESO as i am new to this application.

use transaction SE63 in order to translate the texts -> menu Translation / ABAP Objects / Short texts then choose OTR in tree
to find object name, use the matchcode and specify the development class (or package) as collection
SAP will display texts according to logon language of user

All you have to do is call your SF to get OTF and then concert it to PDF. Works like charm:
DATA: p_output_options TYPE ssfcompop,
p_control_parameters TYPE ssfctrlop.
p_control_parameters-no_dialog = 'X'.
p_control_parameters-getotf = 'X'.
CALL FUNCTION v_func_name "call your smartform
