Only apps from the Apple App Store can be downloaded and installed onto iPads. That's an Apple limitation, not an Adobe one.
iPads run the iOS mobile operating system. Adobe desktop software is written for desktop operating systems, Mac OS X and Windows.
Adobe is working on Lightroom Mobile for the iPad but it's not available yet

How to download iOS 7 onto iPad 2 16 GB?
Anyone else having issues with installing iOS 7 on iPad 2 16 GB? It gets all the way through the download, screen goes black with apple symbol, progress bar at bottom of Apple symbol, steadily increases and then halfway into the reboot, it jumps back to iOS 6.1.4. I have enough available space for the upgrade. What gives?
If you read through the thousands of postings on here since the ios 7 upgrade came out, you might want to reconsider upgading at this point. While millions have probably successfully downloaded it, millions have been having problems after their download. I suggest you wait until after Apple fixes some of the problems. That way you'll at least have a working ipad.

You can connect the iPad to your Mac's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, that should copy it over to the Movies part of your library.
Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the film studio allows it, you might also be able to re-download it on your Mac via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page. -

Thanks for the question. Connecting your iTunes Store and Disney Movies Anywhere accounts should sync all of your eligible Disney, Pixar, and Marvel movies between both services. After connecting your accounts, you can check your purchased history in the iTunes Store:

i am trying to download a movie onto my brand new ipod that has nothing on it. it is a 8gb ipod and the movie is 3.4 gb. halfway through it tells me there is no more space to download the movie. how do i fix this?
Go to the Store tab in iTunes and click on the Check For Available Downloads.

I have tried to download 2 movies onto my iPad but I keep getting a download error message. What do I do now? I have already tried turning the iPad off and on again…still nothing.
Try closing iTunes and reset your iPad. After the iPad starts up, try the download again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Tried to download 4 movies to IPad 2. After 1 taking 1 1/2 hrs received download message on 1st one. Said to retry and is 2 hrs later and still downloading. Others show waiting... I want to cancel the whole deal as something is wrong. On MacBook shows that I've already purchased these movies, but they don't show in library and won't download.
Update
OK, Today I went ahead & booted & tried again & it worked this time.
Not sure why it didn't yesterday. Maybe the servers were just overloaded? Several others reported similar.
Also yesterday when I ran Speedtest it showd download at about 25 mbps, This morning just before I re-started the download it was showing just above 30 mbps. So maybe the internet was less busy? Or at least the parts between me & the test server.
& so far it is working ok. -

How do you tranfer movies to IPad for playback during travel.
If these are movies that are in your iTunes library on your computer, you need to connect up your iPad via USB, let it sync up to iTunes, click on your iPad's name in iTunes' left column, under the Movies Tab, click the checkbox for each movie you want to sync/load to your iPad.
Another way to so this while your iPad is sync'd up to iTunes is to actually look for the movies in iTunes and drag them to your iPad's name in iTunes' left column. -
