How to edit slideshow thumbnail bar

Hi
Does anyone know how to edit the thumbnail preview bar that is generated on the photo album slideshows. I know you have the choice to click on the two buttons between the "back to album" and "download" text to hide the bar, but I would far rather either not have it at all, or be able to set it not to be shown as the default.
I've scoured here and the web, but cannot find an answer.
Any help gratefully received

Cyclosaurus as posted code for an HTML snippet to change the default style/mode of the slideshow in his post here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6272619&#6272619 . I couldn't find any post to remove the thumbnail tray however.
You could use a flash based slideshow instead of Apples. Examples of them are here:

How to edit file title bar?

In Frame 7.2, when I open two or more files (stored in a folder several levels below My Documents), the path is long enough in the file title bar that it's difficult to see the file name without dragging the window to the left or shutting down some control boxes stored on the right side.
Is there a way to make Framemaker show only the file name? My alternative is to move all files up a few levels to shorten the path.

This is a known problem. Unless you can live with waiting for the tool tip showing the full path (at least in the most recent versions of FrameMaker), the only option is to modify this property via FDK programming. A friend of mine has a script titled In Window Title, Display File Name Only (to be used with FrameScript) in his free script collection:

If it really bugs you, it might be worth investing the $149 for the FrameScript plug-in to run this (and other useful) scripts.

Actually you were right, it was being inherited by the master page. And the 'live' page we were working on was unable to delete it. When I went to the master page, I deleted the << >> and it deleted it from the live page.
Now when I put in the <<category>> on the master page, it shows on the live page. For some reason my data rows are not displaying multiple records to a page now (shows only 1 per page so I've got 117 pages!), but ill try to figure out what happened.

AnswerThere are a couple of different ways to change your profile photo or thumbnail image on Tagged.
Here's a quick How-to video that shows you how to change your profile photo
If you wish to change your profile photo, follow the instructions listed below:
Hover your mouse over 'More' in the top Nav bar and select Photos.
To use one of your previously uploaded photos as your profile photo, place the cursor over the photo you wish to use, and click the small green “#1” box when it appears
If you wish to use a new image as your profile photo, upload the image to your photo gallery, and then click the small green “#1” box on the photo
If you are viewing one of your photos individually, you can also set it as your profile photo by hovering over it and clicking the same green "#1" button. You may also edit the caption and comment on your photo in this view
You can also change your profile photo by doing the following:
On the Navigation bar click Profile and select the Edit Profile link to the left of your Profile picture.
To upload a photo locally from your computer, click the “Browse” button, select the image you wish you use, and then click “Upload”.

HELP! I was fooling around with my profile pic and selected and saved a cropped thumbnail. I hate it, and I haven't been able to figure out how to return my thumbnail to just a mini-version of my full profile pic. I've even re-up-loaded a copy of the original photo, with a different file name, but Tagged automatically crops it to the same thumbnail. How can i get tool tips to show on slideshow thumbnails? I used the widget "blank" composition for a slideshow then i placed the tooltips widget composition over them and made them transparent, but that prevents a user from clicking on the thumbnails... Any ideas?

I also want to note, i tried putting in tool tips as well as alt. text but only the first thumbnail is included in the HTML...I went through the code and it all my text is missing. I have to manually edit the html in edge reflow or dreamweaver. Muse should fix this - and i know "this is in the wrong section" and not in bugs and new ideas but it relates to my first post...

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

Not sure if it will help but if you had registered it with Apple you could try unregistering it. To do this:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on ">" to the right of the device you want to unregister
Click "unregister"

How do I keep my edits in favorites bar?

My favorites bar keeps reverting to an old set of bookmarks after I edit it. Might happen any time. Takes new bookmarks but keeps showing those I deleted from the f bar. ??? For example, after I edit the f bar to show just the bookmarks I go to most often -- eg, Google or a work webpage -- it will hold those edits for a while, even thru shut downs and restarts, but then suddenly will show all the old bookmarks I'd deleted before. Any new bookmarks I added to the f bar show up at the end. Doesn't matter if I delete the oldies by dragging them off the bar, or opening 'edit bookmarks' from the bookmarks menu. Surprisingly aggravating! thanks all.

Maybe you have the same "misunderstanding" as I had: (After successful sync) the links from the OSX Favorite Bar now show up in "Bookmarks - Favorites" (top entry in the list, quoted with a star) AND inside the window when opening a new tab.

Please elaborate a bit about your foirst query.
Regarding the second query, as iamDK suggested, you can use the states Panel. Also in case you need different editing for different Triggers/Thumbnails then you can go to Properties of the Widget (by clicking on little white arrow in blue circle which comes up at the top right corner of the widget when it is slected) and uncheck the option which says "Edit together".

Can't figure out how to edit a Draft e-mail message--simple, right? Wrong.

OK, sorry if this is too basic and belongs in the Getting Started folder, but I couldn't find the problem here or in that location.
I thought I could figure out how to edit a message in the Drafts folder. I tried; it didn't work. I looked online, found a tutorial, which showed that I was indeed trying to do the right thing the right way. So why doesn't it work????
Here's what happens.
I start an e-mail message, click Cancel, then save as a Draft. That works fine. But then...
From the Home screen, I tap Mail.
On the Mailboxes screen, I tap Drafts (there's a number on the right -- 2 -- which disagrees with the number of messages actually seen -- 1 -- at the next step; I don't know if that's an important detail or not).
I see the draft message I want to edit. I tap it.
I tap Edit. According to the tutorial, the message is supposed to open up for me to edit further. But it doesn't. Instead...
The two lines representing the message (Recipient and first few words) move a bit to the right, and the Edit button changes to Cancel.
A dull red Delete button and a blue-gray Move button show up at the bottom. But the first line of the draft message, which has (accurately) shown up under the boldface "(No Recipient)" line, stays where it is -- showing as part of an entry in the list but not as something I can edit. I don't see the complete message, and I can't edit anything, even though I think I have just entered an Edit mode.
I click those two lines, and a red checkmark appears on the left, and the dull buttons at the bottom become brighter red and brighter blue-gray.
Tapping, double-tapping, tap-and-holding... all just toggle that checkmark on and off.
THIS MUST BE REALLY SIMPLE... HOW DO I EDIT THE TEXT OF THE DRAFT MESSAGE????

Zero replies??? Wow, I guess this is a really uncommon problem.
Well, the Genius Bar fixed the problem. They confirmed that it WAS real, and they couldn't figure out how it had gotten that way. There must have been some internal list in an inconsistent state... or something.
The fix was to deactivate my MobileMe account on my iPhone -- just wipe it out. Then they re-activated it. Everything re-synched and the problem was gone.

It will depend on the image. If it was one that was saved as a psd file and has layers (window>layers) {Look in the layers panel and see if you see a layer with a thumbnail that looks like a large T} In this instance, you can double click on that thumbnail to highlight the text then type in its replacement.
If the image is a jpg which does not support layers, transparency or live text, then that would mean that you need to use the selection tools to select that text and fill it with the same color as the background. You can then use the text tool to type in the text you want.
Remember to save a copy as a psd file so you can edit the text at a later date.
