How to eliminate few subelements from source pay load structure

 I have requirement like this, there are 4 sub elements in the source structure, but I need only 2 sub elements in the target structure. The following is the source pay load,

Any one with better suggestions, about this idea?

raju jut check LOC exists with the help of exists functionality (node functions)
Use this for input for ifwithout else(boolean function)
And use your access node as a input at "then"
I hope you will get the output.

Hi,
it works in the same way as before in case you are not using the new features like the dtp and the transformations. Using the new features, you schedule a infopackage to load the data up to psa and schedule a dtp to post the data to the targets.

How long CSS blocks flow, from source which detected as source DoS?

My application generates except normal flow, flow which CSS treats as DoS attack. Both flows have the same source.
I am afraid that, CSS can block proper flow.
So, I have question: how long CSS blocks flow, from source which detected as source DoS?

I am not very sure of the lenghth of time that it blocks the flow from the source, if it is considered as a source of DoS attack, but the workaround would be to bypass the cache for that particular source, since you are already aware that it might cause a problem. You could use a bypass rule to do so. You can also use the flow timeout feature with the flow port[1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10] timeout command to configure a flow timeout value for a TCP or UDP port. I am not very sure if this feature would help in your situation, bypass seems to be a better option.

How to update other infotype from source infotype via function module?

Want in source infotype to call a func.module, which shall update other infotype(s) in background.
Have tried out with HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION, but without success - gives mitchmatch of source it and target it in the internal it buffer tables.
How to do?
Requirements also are to secure rollback, if update of the last of ex. 3 target its fails.
Anyone has experience on this issue?

Know this functionality - also by means of own coding in the PAI by filling the int. tables dynmeas + initial_values. However the issue remains, i.e. the update has to be done by a function module called from PAI of own infotype, and from a function module you can't trigger the T588Z-functionality.
The update of it0003 from own it9300 is only an example, have general requirements that:
- from own infotype PAI a function module shall be called
- from the function module update of other infotypes
shall take place (modify as well as insert and delete)
- if more infotypes shall be updated from source infotype,
rollback shall take place if ex. update of last target
infotype fails (all to be updated or none!).

How to eliminate the noise from the stepper motor

I’m using stepper motors to move a traverse on which a hot-wire anemometer probe is mounted. When the stepper motors are turned on, they induce noise on the analog signal of the hotwire anemometer, or of any other transducer, at multiples of 120Hz.
The stepper drives are P41 Series made by American Precision Inc. The P41 Series contains a power supply, a motor drive and a logic controller. The logic controller inputs are optically isolated and utilize the 5 VDC supplied internally by the drive.
An NI 6251 or NI 6024E DAQ card is used with LabVIEW to send digital output signal to the logic controller in order to step the motors.
The AI input channels of either NI 6251 or NI 6024E DAQ cards and LabVIEW are used to acquire the signal of the hot-wire anemometer. Different DAQ cards are used for the data acquisition and the stepper motor control and the noise is transferred through the laptop to the data acquisition card (analog signal).
All cables are shielded and the noise was confirmed to be conductive and not radiative.
There was no difference when measuring the analog signal with Differential or RSE.
As a test, the leads from to the drive’s logic controller were connected to the AI input channels in order to check the magnitude and frequency of the noise flowing to the DAQ card and were found to be 5 V peak-to-peak at 60 Hz.
Please let me know if you have an idea on how to eliminate this noise.

It sounds like you have a ground loop issue. If possible, try totally isolating the stepper controller from the data acquistion AI more than you already have. This could include any of the following:
Ensure the optoisolation on the control lines fully separates the power and ground of the digital output and stepper input.
Use different grounds for the stepper power supply and the DAQ power supply/computer. Isolation transformers can help here.
Use lower inductance lines for the stepper controller. This will reduce the movement of the ground.
I suspect you have probably been over the above, so you are left with filtering the noise out of the signal. Since it has high harmonic content, a simple low-pass is unlikely to work well. Your best bet is probably to characterize it and use some sort of Fourier filtering. If the relative sizes of the harmonics are always the same, you can take the Fourier transform, find the height of the fundamental, use this to calculate the sizes of the harmonics, delete them from the Fourier transform, and do an inverse Fourier transform to recover your signal. Alternately, you can use a series of narrowband filters to remove the noise, although this will also remove any signal at the same frequencies. It is better if you can improve your circuitry to remove the noise.

When I call the bpel in ADF app's I'm getting output.Input like compositename and output is compositeStatusDtails.

How to build a package from sources

hi all,
Can someone please give some advices regarding making binaries from sources. I have found that a lot of programs on Snow Leopard can be also run in terminal and are in source form and need to be build. I have installed Xcode already and I have some programming skills as well such as using MinGW (GNU GCC) and VS EE on WinXP. I have never done anything in any UNIX-like system and I know sources need to be just compiled.

I think you have done something in a UNIX-like system. MinGW is designed to provide a UNIX-line build system with GCC for Windows. Now, however, you have the real thing.
In most cases, all you need to do is extract the source tarbar into a directory (or checkout via CVS or SVN). Go into that directory with the Terminal and type "configure" and, if that goes well, "make", and if that looks good "sudo make install".

How to pass version number from source location to records center?

When designing our record management approach, one of the requirements from business is to pass the version number from the source location to records center. They need to know which version has been declared as a record for the same document.

Based on your description, my understanding is that when you sent a document to records center, you want to pass version number from source location to records center.
When a document is sent to the records Center, we keep its version number as assigned in its original document library as metadata that is submitted along with the document to the Records Center (in the “Properties” sub-folder of the document library in
the Records Center).
Automatically synchronizing that version number directly into the versioning system in the Records Center is something we should probably consider for a future version, but even in the current version we definitely don’t lose that information.

Replicate only a Few Datasources from Source sys

HI All,
I wanna know how do we repicate only a few data sources from a different source system for the first time in BW, without having to create all the other datasources which i don't want.

Welcome To SDN,
Before Replicating the data source in BW side, you need to check the Source system in RSA6. whether your desired DS is present there. Please take note of that dependent tree in which that particular DS is present.
Then come to BW side goto RSA1->source system->select R/3 source system and right click ---datasource overview. Here you will the same tree as in source r/3 in rsa6 replicate the node whichever that particular DS you want to be BW side.

How To Remove Empty Node From Source XML

Hi,
How can I remove an empty node from the source xml in a XSLT mapping.
For e.g. If the source xml is like:
<SRC>
<Node1>SAP</Node2>
<Node2/>
<Node3>XI</Node3>
</SRC>
Then the xml should become:
<SRC>
<Node1>SAP</Node2>
<Node3>XI</Node3>
</SRC>
I need to do this because the output of my XSLT mapping is showing blank spaces for each blank node.

How to create an XML from Source Table

Hi,
I am new to ODI and have a requirement as part of our project -
Say have a table in Source schema with few columns and need to convert the same to XML format and insert the XML as a CLOB column in table of target schema.
There could also be a case where the XML generated in Source will have to be passed on to Target by calling a web service at target (through ODI)
Please help with all the steps required to achieve the same.

This query displays data for a project with approval & submission dates...I'm trying to eliminate records that have null values in Approval & submission date columns at the same time. But rather keep the records that have atleast one submission date or approval date?

Urgent...... how to select few fields, from database table, (dynamic ita.)

Dear all experts,
I am able to populate all fields data from database table, using dynamic table creation.
eg,
SELECT * FROM (w_tabname) INTO TABLE <t_itab>.
where w_tabname is the table name given by the user, and t_itab is field symbol.
but some requirement is like that i need to pick up only few fields, which user will give at the runtime.
I can take those fields from file into any internal table,
but the problem is that instead of select *, i need to put selected the fields given by user.
i have tried with field symbol, it is not working (as per my knowledge.)
do i need to create any structures dynamically ?
Can anybody please help in this regards ?

Adding to the below code , you can use some more fields in the select stmt as below:-
REPORT ychatest.
PARAMETERS : p_field1 LIKE dd03l-fieldname,
 P_field2 LIKE dd03l-fieldname,
 p_table LIKE dd03l-tabname.
FIELD-SYMBOLS : <fs> TYPE STANDARD TABLE.
SELECT (p_field1) (p_field2) ( FROM (p_table) INTO TABLE <fs>.
Now p_field1 & p_field2 belong to the same table since you have give the user to enter only one table name.
This should work fine.

How to: eliminate PDF files from showing up in my picture folders?

I am using Windows 7 and I save all my pdf files in various folders located in the "Documents" files. These same files are then showing up in my "pictures" files. I have no need for this and it is unnecessarily filling up my picture files. How do I stop the PDFs from showing up in the picture folders? I am thinking I just don't understand how the Libraries functionality of Windows 7 works!?!

The easiest solution would be to simply move the PDFs in that particular folder somewhere else.
