Availability check control - how to include stock in transit (frm 351 mvmt)
We are trying to adjust the config on the availability check control settings to include intransit stock (settings in OVZ9 spro t-code).
This is stock that we have processed into intransit in the receiving plant via movment 351. (MARC-TRAME).
Is there a way to change the availability check settings to include this stock? I would like my sales orders to see this instranit stock as available. I have tried using the StockIn Transfer flag (under Stocks category) and also tried using Incl.rel.order reqs falg (In/outward movments category).
Appreciate any feedback.

How to exclude stock of a particular storage type from collective availabil
How to exclude stock of a particular storage type from collective availability check in MDVP.
you can set the storage location as 'Storage location stock excluded from MRP' value '1' in the field
Sloc MRP indicator , in MRP view $ when you enter a storage location accessing the material master.
Thsi is the only way to exclude the storage location, you have to do it per each material and also it is excluded from the MRP.
With this option the stock is not considered in ATP.
IF you need the storage location in the MRP, then you should consider the use of MRP Areas.
With the MRP Areas you define which plants/storage locations belong to each MRP area and the ATP is performed for eah area with the stocks that exist in each of them.
Please if the issue is solved set the thread as answered and provide the points to the useful replies.

How can a qm-lot be excluded from availability check?
Hi experts,
in oppj I can exclude "stock in quality inspection" from availability check, but the qm lots are still handled as fixed receipts. This is ok, because the qm lots are not a stock. But the availability check shows available quantity and this is, what I don't want!
The question is: "How can qm-lots be excluded from availability check?"
Thanks for your help!
SAP AnwenderDear,
when you talk about QM lot,
QM lot is created during PO GR or Production order GR. Hence before the GR, MRP showes a recipt is expected and recipt element is either production order or PO.
Now even after GR, system removes the PO/Production order and increase the stock.
Hence in availability check if you decativate QM stock, this stock will not be considered, if to be con sidered, then active the QM stock.

Exclude storage location from Availability check
Hi,
We have to exclude 4 storage location out of 46 storage locations from availability check in sales order processing.
Please advice how to do it.
We can not use MRP area and MRP Groups to control this because of certain reasons.
Regards,
AvnishPlease check this..
spro...material management....consumption based planneng....planning...define storage location MRP...
Here give plant name and enter...
Against every storage location you ll have indicators for excluding,including the stock....
hope this clarifies..
For material availablity check in production order,
1. you need to delete the storage loation in OX09 (it is possible If no stock)
2. Or you need to transfer post the materials to a storage location xxxx which you can name as Blocked storage location...
F Y I....In OVZ9 you can exclude all the storage locations which is not your reequirement..

How to exclude a particular value from the selection in the infopackage.
Ex: not load for cost center 10000
Thank you,
samHi Sam,
You cannot do this directly as exclusion, but you can include all other values, even as ranges and thus exclude the particular value, else you can also try to do this by writing a routine.
Hope this helps... -
How to exclude music and pictures from backing with USMT in SCCM 2012 SP1?
How to exclude music and pictures from backing with USMT in SCCM 2012 SP1?
I know we can use config.xml but I m not sure what all steps to take.
Below is my understanding
1. Create Custom.xml file using below
<component context="System" type="Documents">
<displayName>Test</displayName>
<role role="Data">
<rules>
<unconditionalExclude>
<objectSet>
<script>MigXmlHelper.GenerateDrivePatterns ("* [*.mp3]", "Fixed")</script>
</objectSet>
</unconditionalExclude>
</rules>
</role>
</component>
</migration>
2. Save as Custom.xml.
3. Copy it to USMT source files package in both the x86 and x64 subfolders and update the relevant USMT package distribution points.
I am confused as where in task sequence will we specify the custom.config file.Edit the miguser.xml file. The default list is as follows:
-<objectSet>
<script>MigXmlHelper.GenerateDrivePatterns ("* [*.qdf]", "Fixed")</script>

Storage location to be excluded from availability check
Hi,
Our requirement is to exclude a storage location for availability check. Certain user exits are listed under programs FV45VFZZ / FV45VFZY / RV03VFZZ. Can any of them be used to block a storage location. If so what is the code to be written.
Regards,
KCDear Krishna,
Go to the transaction OVZ9 - carry out Availability check.
Select the requirement, Individual/Collective with the checking rule as A or B, where you want to stop the checking of Storage location and double clik.
Inside there is a tab Storage location inspection - there activate the checkbox.
Hope this helps. Reward points if satisfied.
Thanks and regards.

Exclude stock reserved for production order from availability check
Hi Experts,
We have a problem in the availability check.
There is a material used as selling product and components in the same time.
When the material has been reserved completely for a production order, the new sales order still get confirmed despite there is no physical stock at all!
Please advise how to exclude the stock reserved for production order from the availability check in sales order? Many thanks!
Regards,
QiangGo to MM02 and check what availability check is maintained for that material. Next go to OVZ9, select that available check with the combination "A" and maintain "X" or "F" in the field "Incl.production orders".
thanks

How to exclude restricted-use batch from batch-determination in backflushin
Hello,
In the Goods-Movement screen during confirmation transaction (i.e. backflushing), we see that SAP has selected some batches that are restricted-use stock. This must be due to some setting in batch-determination functionality. We want to know how to exclude restricted-use stocks from being considered in batch-determination. What setting, in which config transaction, can help us achieve this ? Kindly help. Thanks.
- ChetanThanks Manoj,
That was a very good information and I learnt something new.
However, I checked, and in that config, we are already "not-allowing" restricted-use stock for MvT-261. So what else can be used to prohibit its selection during backflushing. Thanks.

How to Exclude a sub directorys from polling using FileAdapter of BPEL Proc
Hi all,
I have a BPEL process with file adapter which is polling to root folder .
I want to exclude File polling for some of the sub folder of the BPEL process.
How to exclude file polling for sub folder i know the option is available for file name not for folder.
Thanks
Phanidude, you have to give the exact name of the folder you want to poll to,
you can also pass the location of the folder at runtime/dynamically.
In 10 G only single location can be polled by single file adapter
in 11 g we can poll different folders by single file adapter
However I doubt that there can be selective polling to multiple folder. -
How to exclude the XML declaration from each row of the result set?
Hi,
I have a table with an XMLTYPE column and would like to SELECT a set of rows. How can I exclude the XML declaration from each row in the result set? My query currently looks like this, I'm executing it through Spring JDBC:
SELECT XMLSerialize(CONTENT t1.xmltext) FROM myschema.event t1 WHERE XMLEXISTS('$e/Event' PASSING XMLTEXT AS "e") ORDER BY t1.time DESC
After selecting, in my application I convert each row into a String and concatenate all rows into one big string in order to parse it into a DOM model. I get a parser exception (org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The processing instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed) because there are multiple XML declarations in my big string. Of course, I could manually check the String of each row whether it starts with the XML declaration, but it would be nicer if I could instruct the DB not to add it in the first place. Is there a way?
Thanks!
-- DanielaHi,
A couple of options I can think of :
SELECT XMLSerialize(CONTENT
XMLtransform(t1.xmltext,
xmltype('<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:output omit-xml-declaration="yes"/>
<xsl:template match="/"><xsl:copy-of select="*"/></xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>')
FROM myschema.event t1
WHERE XMLEXISTS('$e/Event' PASSING XMLTEXT AS "e")
ORDER BY t1.time DESC
;or simply,
SELECT XMLSerialize(CONTENT
extract(t1.xmltext,'/')
FROM myschema.event t1
WHERE XMLEXISTS('$e/Event' PASSING XMLTEXT AS "e")
ORDER BY t1.time DESC

How to exclude the Shared folder from TM in Mavericks?
Hi, I have just moved to Mavericks. I discovered that now I cannot exclude the folder "Shared" from my TM back-up. From the TM preferences I can add it to the exclusion list but it seems that it is not taken in account. Even if I use "sudo tmutil addexclusion -p /Users/Shared" I cannot exclude it. Any idea how to force TM to exclude this folder?
RegardsHello there, Bangla.
The following Knowledge Base article reviews the process for excluding a particular folder from backup:
