How to export Videos and Pictures from the iPhone 4 to my PC
Hello together,
maybe this question will have a simple answer, but finding this answer seems to not so simple...at least for me...
I have several 100 photos and some videos (made by the iPhone 4) on my iPhone 4.
I want to export some fotos and also a video to my Windows PC to give these files to friend. For example the video is to long to send via Email. I would like to burn the files on a disc.
How can I export these files to my PC?
I tried to use a SW called ifunbox, but this SW always closes with an error message before even starting up.
I also found some information about copying pictures and videos directly to the PC via the Windows Explorer. Unfortunately my iPhone 4 is not listed in the Windows Explorer and I can not find the iPhone via the device manager...
Can anybody help me?

Unfortunately I can not select the iPhone 4 from the device list. It seems that the iPhone is not detected.
In iTunes I have no problems...
...any ideas...

If I go to albums in the pictures app I have a folder called "phone". I want to clear up some space and delete pictures and videos from there, but there is no option "delete". These pictures are not in the icloud, but seem to be stored on the phone itself. I tried to access this folder through itunes and iphoto, but still n possibility to delete them. is there any way to delete those without flattening the whole thing?

i need to export videos and images from ipad mini to sd card using a camera kit, please help, and if so what app do i need to do that.
i did find another "scenic route" around, but it has some limitations, yet might be beneficial.
there is an ipad app called Easy Transfer. basically, it works through the web. you type in a web address it give you, and you can transfer files via the "refresh" button on your browser, and through your ipad.
the downer is, if you have a so-so internet connection, data is lost on video filles. i tried to transfer even a one minute video file, and it was missig frames when it got to my mac...sigh.
but, hey...it is another option, perhaps for some of you with cable modem or supa-fast webby web! ;-) -
I have tried to watch the videos and see the pictures from my iPhone's camera roll on a televison but it is not working. It is like nothing is connected to the T.V. set. I have tried with cables that attach to the bottom of the iPone. I have used an HDMI cable and a component cables on two seperate Televisions. How is it supposed to work.
I plugged the HDMI cable into the HDMI #4 jack into the T.V. and turned on the iPHone and watched the camera roll on the iPhone bu tnothing appears on the T.V. screen. What would have to be adjusted to view the pictures from the camera roll on the T.V. screen. The same thing happend when I used "Composite to iPhone" cables to a different T.V. I even tried with and iPhone 3GS, still no display on the T.V. screen.Warranty on iPhone is not international, but valid only in country of

No recycle bin. When selecting Delete for a photo in the Camera Roll, a big red Delete Photo button is provided along with Cancel. Selecting Delete Photos means deleted.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. The Camera Roll is also included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes since the photos were captured by your iPhone and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes again since the photos were deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
If you have an iCloud account, you have the option to update your iPhone's backup wirelessly which is automatic when your iPhone is connected to a power source while connected to an available wi-fi network. With an iCloud account, you also have the Photo Stream option. All photos captured by your iPhone are placed in your iCloud Photo Stream. Deleting a photo from your iPhone's Camera Roll does not delete the photo from your Photo Stream. -

I tried several brand new discs from the same box, still no luck.
My last option is to go out and try a different brand, guess I'll go with Verbatim this time but I think I'll poke around some more before buying 20 more new discs. -

How do I export words and definitions from the glossary widget as XML? I need to use the same glossary in several projects. When I copy and paste the widget to a different project about 1/2 of the definitions disappear. Figured I would try exporting the words then importing them back in new glossaries in each project. Using 7 on a Mac.
Yes i read, and the answer to the main question is still the same, you cannot export, you just can import definitions if you previously have structured them into an xml file. So, first of all it would be useful to warn the user to ALWAYS start from an xml file BEFORE starting populating the glossary. Furthermore, not all users are supposed to manage easily an xml editing, and the widget itself has been programmed to insert the definitions with a simple method, so it would be necessary also to have an instrument to export to xml for importing purpose. Storyline has the same lack, you cannot move glossary from one project to another but you are forced to start from an old project or insert the glossary itself into a master project. You will agree with me that an xml export feature is not something so difficult to add for the widget. In my personal example, i added about 200 definitions, then i discovered that the glossary of captivate 7 does not work well in html5, the new one in captivate 8 is little bit better, but still not working on chrome (at least on ipad it shows, but you cannot show a button over it since it goes always on the top of everything, so at the moment i inserted a big transparent square behind it to close everyting like a lightbox). This widget is still very buggy and need to be improved.

How to put current music and pictures from my Iphone to a new Ipad?
Hi this is my first question!
I am about to recieve a new iPad mini. I currently have an iPhone 4s and I want to transfer all my pictures and music over to the new device. I have just backed up my phone so that all latest files are on my PC. I have tried iCloud but this is out because my internet is too rubish.
So what should I do?
1. if i set the iPad up using the iTunes backup, everything will go on to the iPad that I have on the phone including the apps, which im not bothered about because I will be using less apps than before.
2. If I set it up as a new iPad, can I connect it to my PC and get my music and pictures/videos over to the device without everything else.
I know this sounds confusing but I don't know what to do, I asked in the Apple store and they didn't seem to know either,
cheers, DavidYou can restore the iPhone's backup onto the iPad, but that won't include the contents of the Music app nor the photos if they were originally synced from a computer (if they were taken with the phone they should be included) - restoring a backup onto a diferrent device also won't copy passwords (router, email, website) so you will need to re-enter them on the iPad. You can copy your iTunes purchases (including apps and music) from the iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) - if you do decide t backup/restore then you will need all of the iPhone's apps on your computer's iTunes as the backup only contains their content and settings, and not the apps themselves.
If you set it up as a new iPad then as long as the music and apps are on your computer's iTunes then you can sync them over to it. iTunes will remember you sync preferences for each device, so you can sync more than one device to it without them affecting each other.
You can copy the photos and videos that you've take with the phone to your computer : photos to a computer.
And you can then sync them to the iPad : syncing photos. -

If you are unable to AirPlay pictures and videos from your iPhone 6, then take a look at the first article below to ensure that the setup is correct. Post relates to: Palm TXSounds like the wifi isn't processing the data fast enough for video streaming. Have you tried resetting your wifi hub ? Switch it off for a couple of minutes and then restart it. See if that makes any difference.

For photos taken with the phone then on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard, and on a Mac you can use Image Capture, iPhoto or Aperture : copying photos. How do you delete unwanted pictures from the photo library on the iPhone 4s? The ones in the Daisy icon...
Pictures in Photo Library are synced from your computer and must be deleted from there, followed by re-sync. Photos in Camera Roll can be deleted from your iPhone directly (tap arrow in top right, tap the pictures you want to delete, press the Delete button).
