How to Extract data and reports from the SAP BW warehouse

I am new to SAP BW. Can any one help me to know, How to Extract data and reports from SAP BW. Do we use any tools. After Extracting the data from SAP BW how can we move all the data to Cognos. It would be kind enough to provide me with any documentation or links. Step by step procedure would be very much helpfull to me.

Hey,
I think you will find that you have to have a debit/credit card stored on yur account regardless of whether your have iTunes Credit or want to purchase a free App. I don't know why, I assume its for ID verification or is part of the terms and conditions. I occasionally have to re-verify my credit card info even when just trying to run Update on one of my Apps or like I said downloading a free App.

what does the database have to do with starting Forms and Reports ? If you are on Wondows2000 then navigate to the \bin directory if the Oracle Home you installed Oracle9iDS to. Type ifbld90 for Forms and rwbuilder for Reports design environment.
If your ability to start Forms and Reports from the command line is your only exit criteria in evaluating software for a project , how far will you go with it?

Does anybody know how to extract data in chunks from one system to another? Imagine you would like to extract 1M records in chunks of 10K records, how would you do it between 2 different R3 systems? A cursor (even with hold) doesn't work

I'd do it with fm : TABLE_ENTRIES_GET_VIA_RFC (with where clause-tab)
or fm GET_TABLE_RFC (get all items)

How to deploy Forms and Reports from 6i to Web Base

I am using Forms 6i in client/server mode, I want to upgrade my platform to Forms 10g web base. I know that I have to install Application Server, however, I found that there are so many options in the download page, and, I can only find the WebLogic Server.
I only need to deploy Forms and Reports, what is the minimum requirements (I means what Oracle software) I have to purchase.
Can you provide also the download link? any document can teach me how to deploy Forms and Reports? (only Forms and Reports)

Extracting operators and operands from the source code

Hi there,
I am looking for a way to extract operators and operands from a source code to do a complexity analysis of the code. The final outcome I am expecting is to get the number of operators and operands in the code, to perform a Halstead Complexity Analysis.
Please let me know how this parsing can be done apart from just doing a sequential search of the content in the file.
Any samples and references are highly appreciated.

Common way to analyze code is to defining the things you are interested in using some approproate language and then using a parser generator (or compiler compiler = cc). I used antlr some time ago for this reason. Perhaps you want to take a look at it:

Hi, How can we get the date and time of the server while submitting a form using JSP? i.e I need the date and time , when the user is submittig a registration.

Upon receiving your data in your servlet, you can do the following to get the date,
Calendar calendar = Calendar.getInstance();
int dd = calendar.get(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH);
int mm = calendar.get(Calendar.MONTH) + 1;
int yyyy = calendar.get(Calendar.YEAR);
String dd_mm_yyyy = dd + "/" + mm + "/" + yyyy;
To get the time, simply take a look at the Calendar API to get the corresponding field.

How can I display the date and time from the playhead info as a subtitle ?

Is there any way it is possible to display the video capture data and time during playback. I have seen some discussion on creating subtitles to do this, it would be nice if one could simply add a Title template with display fields for playhead information so that it automatically gets created during rendering.
In case you are wondering why on earth anyone would want this, I would like to use this for display on multisport racing videos.

I am writing an application that is going to show the grid of tiles. Each tile should have picture that is frame from some particular video.
Basically something similar to Photos or Videos - standard Windows Phone app.
