You can also implement
Full Screen ALV, its quite easy. Just pass the output table to FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
For controlling and implementing the FS-ALV we have to concentrate on few of the components as follows :
1. Selection of data.
2. Prepare Layout of display list.
3. Event handling.
4. Export all the prepared data to REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.

Hi All,
In Table T023T there is a field WGBEZ60(Long text describing the material group) and the data element of the field is WGBEZ60.
Requirement is to change the description of the field WGBEZ60.The desription of the field is - Description 2 for the material group.
But the user want as - Description for the material group. He dont want 2 in the description.
we are using this field in the search help of Material group for the transaction ME21N and ME51N.
So please tell me how can we change the description of the field in the Search help.

PeeyushAs search help uses data element , it shows its keyword. So you have to do modification to that keyword.
- Go to CMOD
- from top menu GOTO -> Text enhancements -> Keywords -> Change -> type WGBEZ60 -> change the description -> Save and add it to transport
- now use that data element either on the screen or search help. It will have the descripiton modified.

How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms? This might sound trivial but I have a problem with a PL/SQL Validation that I have written.
I have one select list (P108_CLUSTER_ID) and one Text field (P108_PRIVATE_IP). I made P108_CLUSTER_ID to return null value when nothing is selected and assumed P108_PRIVATE_IP to return null value too when nothign is entered in the text field.
All that I need is to validate if P108_PRIVATE_IP is entered when a P108_CLUSTER_ID is selected. i.e it is mandatory to enter Private IP when a cluster is seelcted and following is my Pl/SQL code

My problem is it is returning FALSE for all the cases.It works fine in SQL Command though..When I tried to Debug and use Firebug, I found that Text fields are not stored a null by default but as empty strings "" . Now I tried modifying my PL/SQL to check Private_IP against an empty string. But doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how I need to proceed.

My iPad 4 does not show up on my TV screen when in AirPlay mirroring mode using WiFi. The iPad displays AirPlay set to TV with the Mirroring On (green).
My iPad IOS software is 8.2 and my Apple TV software is at 7.1. The TV displays the Apple Menu. The “Settings” does however displays the General menu allowing me to see:
Apple software: 7.1 (7003)
Apple TV: Model No. A1464, Part No. MD199B/A
Signal Strength shows 5 circles.
It does not display the iPad screen but when I use the BT Sport App I can hear the sound but there is no video. I have searched the internet for a solution to no avail. The problem first arose when the IOS was at 8.1+ but it worked correctly briefly when I updated to IOS 8.2. Can you help please?Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

Is it possible to display only dynamically selected fields in the out put? i need to display set of columns in the selection criteria, but in the output i have display only input given fields. because i need to convert it into .csv file. So i have to display selected fields from internal table. In oracle they are using"execute immediate". is there any equivalent in SAP?

If yes, there are concepts like RTTS which facilitates it.
Yes, the select query also supports dynamic selection of fields. ( Please care about ( ) in dynamic sql ).
Do more research on Field Symbols and statements like ASSIGN COMPONENT OF.

I have a problem with my iPhone 5 stopped working the sleep / power and simultaneously refused to obey the HOME button. I can not use either one or the other. I can not enable or disable the device, display lights up when you plug the charger. same display works fine as it is surprising. or maybe someone knows what is the reason for this? is there any way to solve this problem?
More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

Does the retina display help your eyes when on the computer for a long period of time? Does it make a difference if you have eye problems?
First, I'd suggest posting your question on the MacBook Pro forum. This is the Mac Pro forum, where the computers start at 50 pounds and go up from there (at least so far).
Second, I think it depends on what your eye problems are. I can say that there's a lot less reflection off the screen than the standard MacBook Pro glossy screen; it's similar to the anti-glare screens that you can find on other Mac laptops. The Retina display also has the ability to present a much crisper image with compatible software. -

I´ve done a enhacement on ERP_H component.
I added a field to the view Headerdetail called "ZZCCTYPE1", but when I set a value in UI, I haven´t read this field in abap code.
The SET method (SET_ZZCCTYPR1) in the context node is ok, in debug I see that the method current->set_property, is working fine.
I've tried to read the atribute with lr_entity->get_property_as_string ( 'ZZCCTYPR1' ), but doesn´t work. When I read other "standard field", the statement is ok and it has value.
When I set the value of the field from ECC (VA01/VA02), it is kept by the system.
Could anybody help me?

When you created your custom views, did you bind the view context nodes to the corresponding context nodes of your component controller?
From the exceptions you reported it seems that this binding is missing.
To create this binding, you can right click on your view context node , choose "Create Binding" and bind it to the context nodes of your Component Controller.

How to pass the userid to a page and have the page display dynamic data specific to user?
I am developing a web app and can create a user ID log in page. The app has a login page, view data page, and a post data page. I want the user to be able to login and view the data unique to them they have posted. Also from the view data page is a link to a post data page where they can post more data to be viewed.
I have 2 tables in the database: one for "people" with a column for email. ID and email are primary key. The other table is "datapost" with a column name for email. Id is primary key and email is a foreign key that references the 'person' table.
After the user logs in they should go to view data and see their data, the page is going to view data, but it is not pulling up their specific data. Below is the code for the pages:

E52 Date Display does not update and reflect the c...
Right from day 1 the display date of my E52 does not update and reflect correct the correct date. Got the phone replaced once still the same issue. Called the customer service and they say there is no such problem with E52. They asked me to go to the repair center...(isnt that ridiculous to ask a customer of a new phone to do so?). I went to the repair center with a hope that they will replace it for me but all in vain. They also gave me a ridiculous answer that Nokia does not have a replacement policy...and I was like so is it Nokia's policy to sell broken and faulty mobiles? I was utterly dejected. The electronic store where I bought also refuse to replace because they think there is a problem and no matter I get it changed it will recur. I still do not have a solution as all my ways of getting this problem resolved are exhausted. Anyone has a solution or came across this issue which can be solved without repairing?
Ok let me state my problem. There is a date display and at midnight the date should automatically change to the next date. However that does not happen. The dealer makes the following changes Control Panel>Settings>General>Date and time> Automatic time update> On and this does not solve the problem. Then I get the mobile replaced and that too has the same problem. after going through all permutations and combinations the problem persists. To quote the email from the Contact center for Nokia in HK this was what was suggested

How to show the LOV display column in a field of type ''popup''
Hi All,
I've defined a form (no matter table/master-details/procedure) with a text item of type "popup", and have chosen a specific LOV.
At runtime, after the user chooses a value within that field, He sees the return column, (not the display column) of the LOV.
This behavior is different in field type combobox,
where the user sees the display column, ( this is the expected behavior when dealing with LOVs ).
How can I, in a popup type field, show the user the LOV display column rather than its code ?

The problem is that form is storing the ID in the table but when customer queries the form, the ID is displayed, which means nothing to the user.
This is working as it should by design.
An alternative is to add a non-database field to the form to display the name based on the ID fetched from the table or to build the form in a manner that it will query
from both tables, the one storing the ID and the one storing the name, as a loookup table.
Suggested review Notes: 125272.1, 124072.1, 263923.1.
I believe Note:125272.1 would work for you if you have a primary LoV displaying the name but populating the ID from the first table. The second LoV can query from the table storing the name (instead of making it a non-database column). When the first LoV is used, the second will be refreshed, displaying the actual name on the for

Difference between Change Authorization Data / Display Authorization Data

My question is wrt to implementation of "principle of treble control" i.e three SAP administrators i.e.
1. Authorization data administrator
2. Authorization profile administrator
3. User Administrator
I have created a role & added a transaction to it e.g. "FAGLL03" or "FF67".
No authorization data is displayed in the authorization tab unless I enter authorization tab with change button and provide inputs for org level field & generate profile. Even when I save the profile with the proposed name, it status still says "No authorization data exists". Since no authorization data is available, administrator 2 is unable to generate profile. If administrator 1 has to generate profile then why is administrator 2 required.
Definition of Administrator 1 is:
The authorization data administrator creates the roles, selects transactions and
maintains the authorization data. He or she simply saves the data in the Profile
Generator since he does not have the necessary authorization for generating the
profile. He or she accepts the proposed profile name T-.... The authorization data
administrator may not change users, nor generate profiles.
Definition of Administrator 2 is:
The authorization profile administrator starts transaction SUPC and chooses All
Roles. He or she then restricts his selection, for example by entering the ID of the
role to be edited. On the next screen, he or she chooses Display Profile to check
the data. If all the data is correct, he or she generates the authorization profile. The
authorization profile administrator may not change users, change the data for roles,
nor generate profiles containing authorization objects beginning with S_USER*.

I had never heard of this treble control and the added value of splitting rolebuilding and profile generation doesn't make much sense to me but that's my personal opinion.

It is also possible to change the data and save this but not generate the profile yet. I just tried this by doing the following:
Create role
Add transactions to menu
Edit profile, org levels & authroization data.
Hit 'save'.
Accept proposed profile name.
Go back to PFCG main screen and ignore message of profile not being generated. (Click 'continue')
And this leaves me with a role with yellow traffic light on the authorization tab an the profile status is: "Current version not generated"
So it should be possible to maintain roles and profiles separately. -
My itunes on my i pad 2 has blanked on me. I can get the various screens, but they are empty. My i tunes on my main computor works okay, but when i plug my i pad in to it, the display tells me to download i tunes 11-i have tried but it won't download?
