How to find my ipod ?
Hello, I dont remember where to go to find my ipod which is somewhere in my house, can someone indicate me how to do it ?
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone.
- You have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Call the iPod from another device with an App that will have the iPod make a notification sound.

Unfortunatley, with location turned off it is impossible to locate it. Also if your IPod is dead or is not connected to wifi it will not give its location.

If Find My iPod needs a Wifi connection to work, how will it be able to be locked/wiped/tracked if it doesn't have a internet connection. And iPods don't automatically connect to wifi connections. Whats the point of it.

This is meant for devices which are on network (wifi or GPS/3G). If the device is stolen and wiped, or is out of internet access range (wifi or 3G), then there is no phone in the world to find. Not only iPhone or Touch...
It is a great service for situations when you forget your Touch in the car or at your friends house. As long as it has Wifi and battery charge and the Find feature is turned on, you should find it.
Thieves obviously know all this, so wiping it is the first thing, they'd do..... -

- Go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings to erase the iPod.
- Look here and delete the association with your account if it is associated.
