How to find out SC's under DC's
Hello,
I wanted to know whether there is any easy way to find SC's under DC's. We had to find out under which component does com.sap.security.api.sda exists.
We used SDM and tried each and ever component and finally found out it exists in SAP-JEECOR.
I'm looking for some application or help which tell us that this component has these applications. I know that we can see it in NWDS but unless we upload the component into Track we cannot see them.
Thanks,
Praveen
Hello everybody,
Regular I'm facing the same issue, so these tips come in handy. Tnx!
I have an additional question regarding this issue. How to find out in which DC a specific class is found? For example I'm currently implementing a portal DC and want to use some navigation classes (e.g. INavigationNode) but can not find the DC they are in and thus not the SC.
Does anyone know an easy way to find this out, in general for class X or specific for the navigation classes?
Tnx a lot. Regards,
Christophe

How to find out what the underlying table/query of a form in Oracle Apps.
Hi
I am trying to find out who owns the underlying objects of a query when a user runs the Transactions > Line_Items form for Receivables .
I have selected Help > Record History but I get a message Record History not available here.
The query is running slow and I'd like to see if the objects have been analyzed lately.
Thanks
AndyHi
I should have said in the ticket that this is version 11.5.10
It was close to giving me the answer I need. It gives me the following details. Unfortunately it doesn't give me the underlying sql. I hhave tried using v$session and sys.v_$sql but the sql is over 1000 characters long so I dont get to see the table/object being referenced.
I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks
Andy

How to find out the systems under a logical system?
Hi,
Is their any table in SAP so that we can see the the systems under a Logical System, I need to check it in production where i dint have the access for SCC4 ,SM59 and SPRO.
I also checked in all *Log*Sys* Tables but find nothing.Hi Pranjal,
I don't think if there is such a table to give you mapping of the logical groups and the connectors associated with the same. Would like to know if there is any as such
As Alessandro suggested, GRACCONNSTAT is the only table on this context.

How to find out what is under the mouse pointer in a StyledDocument
Hi all!
I have a DefaultStyledDocument in a JTextPane.
styles = new StyleContext();
doc = new DefaultStyledDocument(styles);

The question now is: can i somehow determine which icon ( or at least which object, inserted by insertString ) is under current mouse position, without setting the caret to this location? or can i trigger an event when the user clicks on such an icon?

How to find out web-inf path from the physical drive?
How to find out web-inf path from the physical drive?
I have some user profiles in web-inf directory.SO I want to know the path from root directory like
d:/program files/allaire/jrun/appname/web-inf/profiles/username like that.
Presently I am able to get the path upto the application directory and from that I am concatinationg web-inf/profiles/username .
But it is giving problems when it is deployed under unix or linux.Because web-inf there it treats as WEB_INF
SO I want to get the path of web-inf directory with out hard coding.
ThankuString path = application.getRealPath("/WEB-INF/profiles/username");
Note sure why you need this, but you don't need the real path to read the file - you can get an InputStream using the relative path. See ServletContext getResource() and getResourceAsStream(). -
How to find out appropriate user exit
Hi,
I want to know how to find out the user exit that matches to the requirement. Suppose for a material master program, there are so many include programs hence im unable to find call custer-function and even unable to debug an appropriate include. Please help me out how to learn user exits in a rightious way.
Thanks
BasuLook for program SAPICSS_ in your system and run it. This program can also be found under CMOD menu: Utilities -> SAP enhancements.
This will only give you the CMOD user exits.
There is a program someone made that searches for all sorts of user-exits (including BADI's etc.). I remember that it was posted on sapfans.com

How to find out which server is running on which port
hi all,
how to find out which server is running on which port, i want to know both
from front end and backend?
thanks and regards
srikanthThe best source to get all the ports you have is the Context Files.
All ports are defined in the Context Files through "AutoConfig Variable". You can get the list of those variables by referring to the following note under "What is the port pool? What if I want to give a specific value to a Server Port?"
Note: 216664.1 - FAQ: Cloning Oracle Applications Release 11i
https://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=216664.1
You can also get that list via OAM.
Referring to the installation log file should also be helpful (Unless you have changed any of the ports after the installation). -
How to find out which jobs are connected to the user
Hello, i have a question, but i was unable to find the answer. The problem is that our internal consultant left the company, and there are certain jobs that run under his account. We want now to switch this jobs to other accounts. The problem we are facing is how to find out what jobs, or job steps are connected with his account, so we can safely demote his account, so that no other jobs will be run under his account. Thank you very much
Sincerely,
Luka Prijicthe only reliable way to do this is by scanning table TBTCP using the person's userID in field AUTHCKNAM and filtering by job statuses: scheduled, released, ready and active (sorry I can't remember the code#'s off top of my head, something like P=scheduled, S=scheduled...you have to look it up). When you search SM37 it only permits you to scan by the userID who created the job, but it won't tell you if a different userID is defined in a job step. That's why you need to scan TBTCP. Don't forget that you should also check for a user's open Workflow items before deletion.
I noticed some posts in this forum that suggest a userID should never be deleted, only locked, added to a special user group, and all role assignments removed. However I've never worked somewhere that does this. -
How to find out the SET PARAMETER ID for FB02 transaction

ENDCASE.

i used this code using this. using this code my program goes to FB03 tc but it don't shows the data of BELNR what i was clicked. it always shows first BELNR no. in the table. plz anyone help me for this..
the SET PARAMETER ID 'FBAS' i m using is right? if not plz suggest me how to find out correct one?Hi Vicky,
To know the Parameter Id of any field in a transaction ,
you just press F1 onthe particular field then in technical settings under Field data
you can see the PARMATER ID.
So if you check like this you can see 'BLN' as parameter id for Document number in FB03
transaction

I just bought this "web 'n' walk III" UMTS Modem (USB) made by Huawei. I want to instal it but do not know if the enclosed software is out of date (MobileConnectDriver(2.9.2)) and works under SL. Does anybody know how I find out what type of Huawei dangle it is so I can find the correct software?
any tips as to how to use this smoothly as the stick is to SIM locked and I will use it with a SIM from an other provider (Stick is branded by T-Mobile).I worked out the model number, it is 'hidden' in small print on the back, in a larger number.

How to find out workflow in various releases of SAP
Hi Experts,
I would like to know as to how we can find out in which release of SAP was a given workflow introduced.
For eg. if we take WS04200009(WF for leave request). I want to know if this was incorporated in ECC 6.0 or ECC 5.0 or older versions.
Also if we take WS04200009, there is a list of related WF's to it.....i.e. WS12400005 and WS12400007(These are for leave request cancellation).
I would like to know similarly as to how to find out for a specific workflow, the list of related WF to it.
I would also like to know as to how we can find out what is the latest WF that SAP has incorporated in the given release.
Thanks in advance for all the help.Hello,
What do you mean by workflows "related" to another workflow? if you mean calls and called-by you can get it out of the underlying tables, is that what you want? Same for the latest version, but only in the current system, I wouldn't know how to do it for different SAP versions.
For a particular workflow you can see which other workflow(s) (and tasks) it calls in tx SWDM.

How to find out SR level in SAP system
Hi Guys,
How to find out the SR level of our system in Windows. And can any one tell me, what are the necessary CD's required for ECC 6.0 installation. I can found all the informations but I can't found for specific installation on windows -- mssql .
Thanks
Regards,
RalAn SR (Service Release) is simply a base release + a certain amount of SPs(Support Packs).
So, the question you really want is what SP level is the system at. If it's an ABAP system, you can find that in the SYSTEM menu-->STATUS. Then click the magnifying glass under the "system data" section to see the individual SPs for the various components.
If it's a Java system, you need to log into the URL for the system information screen. That is:
http://<host>:5xx00
(where xx is the system number)
click "system information" and login with an administrative user. The component listing on that screen will tell you what level your java components are on.
You can download all needed software from
http://service.sap.com/swdc
You will need an OSS account, and proper authorizations given to you by an admin by the customer. Further, you will need your downlaods to be approved via the SolMan Maintenance Optimizer by an admin at the customer. -

Continue;
6. Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
7. Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would

8. Click Send/Continue.
You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
In the event you are unsuccessful then contact AppleCare - Contacting Apple for support and service.
Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
Good Luck friends!
