How to find out the values which are assigned in authority group

Hi to all
Please tell me where can I find out the values which are assigned in authority object according to roles.
for ex :
         Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              F_KNA1_BED
          Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              T-DR50175601
            Activity                       01, 02, 03, 08                                                              ACTVT
            Authorization Group            5100                                                                        BRGRU
F_KNA1_BED is the authority object , assigned to one user.
He can access the authorization group 5100. I want to check that value in my program.
How ?
Where it is stored.
Please help me....

Hi Anubhav,
Please use this FM "SUSR_USER_AUTH_FOR_OBJ_GET" and pass the object name in it . You would get the values for that particular object.

In general, though, why would you want to tune SQL statements that aren't causing problems? Statspack will tell you what the most resource-intensive SQL statements on your system are. A SQL*Net trace of sessions that are performing poorly will indicate which statements are the most resource-intensive for that session. If a statement is incorrectly doing a full-table scan, but it is not causing a problem, why spend time tuning it? If you're not focusing your tuning attention on identifying statements that are causing problems, you'll also miss out on 90% of tuning opportunities which involve rewriting (or eliminating) code to make it more efficient. I can simulate a join on two tables with nested cursor loops, which won't generate a single full table scan, but replacing that code with a real join, while it will cause at least one full table scan, will be orders of magnitude faster.
As an aside, full table scans aren't necessarily a bad thing. If a statement needs to retrieve more than a couple percent of the rows of a table, full table scans are the most efficient way to go.

How to find out the columns which has 16 digit credit card number

Hi All,
I have a requirement where in i need to find out the columns which has 16 digit credit number in it and create a report with owner, table name and column name.
The issue is that the credit card number can be entered in any columns of any table of any schema. For example the credit card number can be entered in any description field(eg: The number is 4001412134642881), in that case i need to filter only the numbers and do the LUHN check to validate the credit card number.
Please provide me a suggestion on how to scanl the values of all the columns to know the column which has credit card number.

Tell me this - how the hell do you have a database with credit card number data and NOT know which columns of which tables contain credit card numbers? (and how on earth is this data NOT encrypted!?)
How is what you want to do, NOT a fishing expedition to hack a database that may or may not be storing credit card details?
And do you honestly think that we should simply trust that once you have extracted these numbers, performed a Luhn algorithm to verify these as credit card numbers, you are not going to fraudulently use these credit card numbers!?

How to find out the line which caused the runtime error in a SP?

We have a situation like this.
We are consulting company doing consultancy services on Oracle technologies.
One of our clients have PL/SQL stored package.
We found out by debugging the Oracle Forms front-end application that
error is generated by a procedure inside this package.
Problem is that this procedure has over 6000 lines.
How do we figure out the line which caused the error?
We tried putting messages in between, but not have been successful.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.

What does that mean exactly?
Typically you would instrument the code (especially for multi-step ETL/transform processes) to capture/log key information.
Also, key sections of code would also be in their own BEGIN/EXCEPTION/END block so that you would know what block caused the exception.

Hi,
possible solution:
- make IObj customer as infoprovider (RSD1)
- Create a multiprovider having your cube (your trans data) and your customer master
- identify cube-customer with iobj-customer
- create a query on thi multi and filter one of the characteristic of your cube, e.g. document number or calendar day, with # (not assigned)
- drilldown the customer.
This will give you all the customers having no fact in your transactional data.
You can also have your query without the filter; in this case, one of your cube key figure will be 0 (or empty) for those customers...

Thans for pointing out the error in my post. It seems, being rather busy in this period, I'm starting to wear out as I missed the fact the overlaps would be returned twice. :(
I had in mind a more general case where as single row overlaps with more than one other row.
The OP's data contained one to one overlaps only and it seems no generalized approach was needed.

We have got couple of standard BI infosources and now the task is to identify the corresponding planning area for a given infosource..

what is the planning area?

Hi Swapna.
You are at risk of putting the cart before the horse here. As Sujay asks, it is important to understand whether you are using the standard provided planning areas. Even then there are a number of different planning areas that may be deployed depending upon the required planning functionality. There then may be the case where standard planning areas are not being used (this is very often the case) which means that your InfoSources might only be good as a template.
All this makes your question virtually impossible to answer.
Maybe if you gave some background as to the status of your project we could help more.
From your question it looks as if you are working on APO-BW outbound (i.e., reporting after the planning has taken place) which would suggest that the design and build of APO-BW inbound and the planning functionality has taken place. Is this the case?
If so, then you need to touch base with your APO technical guys to understand the design of the planning areas and whether your standard 0APO_* InfoSources are suitable.
If not, I suggest you are working back to front and you should be focussing on the APO-BW inbound required to support the planning requirements.

Please let me know how to find out the batches which is released from the ASCP in the OLTP OPM instance, like for the Discrete in the WIP Order in the others tabe we can see that there will be a message like " Job mass loadded on......". So is there any way that we can findout whether the batch is released from the ASCP or is it manually created.

I am doing the archiving project.
I have finished the Write phase and Delete Phase.
Now I am doing the tablespace(PSAPSR3) reorganization in QAS(Offline).
Due to the redo log space was full during the reorgnization phase.
Some tables' reorgnization progress were failed.
Hope you could tell me how to find out the tables which reorgnization were failed.
(DB level? OS level? SAP Level?)

Go to transaction ST05,Click activate trace with filter,Give the transactio name as cj31,Go to the transaction and navigate to the place where the particular field is present, then again go to st05 ,Deactivate the trace and display the trace.
Now u can see how the data is fetched ,U can even go to display mode of the same transaction cj33

How to find out the max/min value of one field corresponding to a second field in HANA through graphical way.

Hi,
I am trying to find out the latest delivery date(EINDT) for each purchasing document (EBELN) through graphical way.
The view contains other fields apart from the above mentioned two fields.
When only the two fields (EBELN, EINDT) are there, then in semantics, I can select 'Max' as aggregation to get the maximum value for each document.
If I do like this, then I need to join more than 3 views and also so many joins in calculation view. Taking so much time for data preview.
Hence , please help me in getting the solution while the view contains other fields also.

        1) Go to SE16 - Table Name : EKBE (PO History)
        2) Field - BUDAT (Posting Date)
        3) Transaction event Type:
                         - 1 (Only GR's )
                         - 2 (Both GR and IR)
        4) We can fetch both GR Numbers and also PO Numbers for which IR has not been done if transaction event - 1.
In addition to MB5S, you can try this also...
