How to find the file versions in Oracle applications?

I am requested by the Oracle applications team to check the versions of the following files.
POXWPA6B.pls-115.68.11510.6
POXWPA7B.pls-115.38.11510.7
I have zero experience in managing oracle applications. I would appreciate if some one could let me know how to find the versions in my server. My DB and the applications are in Linux servers.
Also would appreciate if some one could provide pointers to handling Application DBA scenario like this.

Connect to the forms server.
In the $AU_TOP/resource directory run the following...
strings -a <NAMEOFFILE>.plx | grep '$Header'
For example...
To find the .pld version of INVAMCAP.plx I would run this on the forms server.
cd $AU_TOP/resource
strings -a INVAMCAP.plx | grep '$Header'
This will return the .pld version.

Found the solution for this.
First In the mediator's routing rule use assign property $in.property.jca.file.FileName to $out.property.jca.file.FileName
In the BPEL's receive activity go to the properties tab and get the property to a BPEL variable. That should do it.

Any of the free or low priced utilities that you might see or try will not be able to retrieve a deleted file from a Time Capsule.
If any backups have occured since you deleted the file, the deleted file has almost certainly been overwritten. No way to retrieve it in that case.

I would recommend to leave it as it is.
If you can add some inexpensive HDD to your test system then do so.
The Apps DB storage decreasing process is quite painful and isn't straightforward.
You cant just delete unused schemas & tablesapces (if they are not used than they are not consuming reasonable space anyway). The modules in Apps are using each other procedures and objects. The effect of deleting one module (schema) is highly unpredictable.
If you will do something like that than you will not be able to patch your cloned system after that.
Some things can be done however in order to reduce size of a testing Apps system:
- Decries UNDO & TEMP tablespaces. Normally you do not need that big tbs in test system as you have got in the production.
- If your REDO LOG files are quite big and you have got a lot of redo groups you can recreated smaller REDO log files.
- On Apps tier you can delete OUTput and LOG files
In case you still would like to decrease data volume in your testing system you need to take a look on some tools which provide data subtracting capabilities from Apps DB. This process has to be quite intelligent. The tool have to know the data structures in APPS DB and subtract data in the way to not harm logical relationships between records. After a subtracting process you will need to make multiple FULL exp/imp cycles in order to reduce physical space consumed by the database. Beside the fact that those tools are quite expensive you will need to spend a lot of your time to implement those.
BTW: That is the size of you production DB? Have you analyzed which module takes most of the space? May be you can identify top 10 objects and try to archive a data from those object preventing the future grow of the production database.

You can go to the trial page to get an estimated size. As the Creative Cloud products change over time though this may become less accurate.
If you are on a limited bandwidth account then you may want to consider purchasing a perpetual copy of Creative Suite 6 as opposed to subscribing to the Creative Cloud.

You may find the latest version of Cluster Binaries by entering the required keywords for Microsoft Failover Clustering. Some of the main Cluster binaries(Keywords) are:-
Clusres.dll (For Cluster Resources like Disk, Application or Service, Cluster IP)
Clussvc.exe (Cluster Service)
TCPIP.sys (If the Storage is presented to the cluster Nodes via ISCSI Network).
MPIO.sys / ISCSIprt.sys (If we are using Multipathing for the disks to be presented).
RHS.exe (Resource Host Subsystem)
So, the Answer to your question is: You need to enter the binary name "Clusres.dll" and mention the Operating System you want to install your binaries to "Windows Server 2008 R2 Sp1" on Bing (Preferred for Microsoft Hotfixes). In Result you will get the
list of hotfixes for clusres.dll
You need to try this multiple times in order to get the latest version as Microsoft does not have a single Link.

We are interesting in file with maximal values in "field" 2 and 3 assuming that fields are parts of filename separated with "_". I especially created (the file we are interested in) CHECK_300914_215928_xxaa_account_name_20140930201143.txt file to be the first created/modified file.

will definitely work. But we should know the file name. As for topicstarter note it is not the case.

In ERP system, transaction BOPP (PPMS work center), you can find product/component (version) information, including their PPMS number.
While I didn't find the way to retrieve the component version and other information, given a PPMS number.
Is this possible in BOPP? Or there is other ways to do this?
