How can we findout the Class name and Classtype assigned to a material. ( Varaint Classification for a material)

How to change IP, Hostname and domain name for Oracle Application R12

Hi,
I'm new to Oracle, we used to have one production and one test server for Oracle Application R12, but the test server was corrupted, so we decided to clone production server and create a new test server, after cloning and creation of test server, how should we do to change IP address, hostname and domain name for test server?
Our production and test server environment is:
Linux Enterprise AS 2.6.9
Application module: E-Business Suite Treasury only

Kenneth.tnsnames.ora is used only by client processes. listner.ora is used only to configure the listener, and that is a server side issue only. In addition, the listener can start without any listener.ora at all, using all default values. See my discussion of tns issues at edstevensdba.wordpress.com
If you are using dbcontrol, you will most likely need to reconfigure it, using the emca utility.

u can go to iqo2 and click class overview and assign the class type ,class and description.but u need to maintain class for this first.
it would be helpful for u to read iut 221 for work management
for creation of class,service object etc.and understand the concept .

You can just right click on the distribution List. Click on Change button. From here you can click on the respective Recipient Type and populate the Distribution list.

About blob handling - how to display document type and document name?

Hi,
I am developing an APEX application, and I need a report region with a blob column(document) in it, and I want it to display like this :
with an image on the left side(different images for different type of docs such as word, pdf, txt) ,
and the file name on the right, with a download link on the file name, and also get the file name included into the download link address,
also have the file size displayed in the report.
I failed on getting this done with the help of any document, any help will be very much appreciated.

How do I change artwork and album name for a playlist?

I can't figure out how to do this:
I like to make cd-length playlists (essentially "mix cds") with songs that I own. I make new artwork for the mix cd, and for categorization, I like to change the Album Name and Album Artist to whatever I've named the mix (i.e., "songs about trains").
However, if I do this, the individual songs no longer appear with their original albums, since I've changed the info on them.
So essentially what I want to do is make a copy of the songs. I don't mind if they take up extra space on my hd. How do I do this easily?
I know I can just burn the cd and rip it, but then I have to rename every single song, which is a pain.
Is there an easier way? I imagine many other people like to make mix cds like me...

The reason I need to change the file name is we want the breadcrumbing name to change and the breadcrumbing is linked to the file name.
I don't understand this reason. How would changing the file extension solve your breadcrumb issue? Why don't you explain the issue in more detail.

All the values of cost value and sale values are getting stored in bseg-wrbtr field .
How to identify them uniquely.
Or there is another way to find the sale and cost values.

Hi Mave!
Normally there is no condition change, when something is sold.
But sales price depends on sales conditions (not only price, but also surcharges, discounts, taxes - if customized).
Nevertheless, after selling you have a invoice document, where correct values should be stored (see VBRP fields mentioned above). If here is a problem, then customizing of price determination is in question, not a programming of user-exits with MARD selection for costs (or some other tries to get a price).
When you specify your requirements more in detail, you might get better answers - but currently only general hints are possible ('see in invioce / G/L accounts').

I have 3rd party dll, I am adding the ref to it in my project.
I have created a wrapper class for one of the 3rd part dll class, my wrapper class is inheriting for IPofSerializer and serilizing the object.
In my pof-config.xml file I have created a new user-type for the class in the 3rd party dll.

i hav doubt why class defination and class implementaion separated in abap. In know in C++ its possible
but in JAVA its not possible . what is the main reson behind this concept in ABAP.

Hi Sree,
As far as I feel, it's been done with a view of readability. As you know that ABAP is very well modularized and organized programing language. When you define a local ABAP Class, you define two seperate sections of it. You define the Class Definition and then you define the Implementations. This way you can really have a look at all the class definitions which are organized in the same section. Then you can have a look at the selected implementation.
But if this hasn't been the scenario, then as developer looking at the complex classes would have made life hell for you. You can very well figure it out how good to keep things organized for later class maintainance and readability.
