How to fire an event from Java Script

Hi,
Here is my problem: using JSF
I have a selectOneMenu list box when a value changes a valueChangeListner event is fire that all works great now the problem I'm able to add items to the list from a popup form using Java Script but I need the valueChangeListner to fireup every time I add a item any ideas how to do that

Crystal Report is integrated with Oracle 10g. I created the base SQL query for col1, col2, col3 and col4. Java Script pass parameter value (185) to Col1.
My question is how to create crystal report to make Col1 as parameter and how to get the parameter value 185(Col1) from Java Script. Is there any additional code I need to include in the crystal report?
FYI.
Java script sends the right parameter value.There is no issue in java script.
This is an automatic scheduled process when batch runs, Java script should pass the parameter value and the crystal report should get the value and produce the output report.

Not sure if this is an application question or if you are trying to hook into Crystal Reports parameter UI? If the later then no option other than report design. If an application then I can move this to the Java Forums.
If you are asking how to alter the parameters I suggest you remove the Java reference and post a new question so it's not confusing the issue.

I need to print a pdf from java script. In java script i have url of pdf. Is there any way to print pdf from java script?
I am able to print word doc by ActiveX. is there any activeX or something else which do the same thing for pdf?

I have a Web App where the user is required to fill certain information which then goes to CRM.I have used SSO token to retreive the JSessionid and used the Jsessioid in subsequent requst/Now JSessionid expires after 10 mins of inactivity.

Send an event from Java Web Service to BPEL

I have a requirement where from an Async BPEL service I have to call a Java Web Service. After the completion of its task Java Web Service will fire an event that has to be consumed by the BPEL to initiate further process. Can anybody help me with how to send an event from Java Web Service and at the same time consume it in BPEL?

May know how to submit a button autoamtically on onload of page with clicking a welcome alert box. the submit button has managed button too to show a message on console using SOP.
the problem is.
1. before loading the page a javascript comes on which i clicked ok
2. the page gets loaded and the button is there which gets automatically clicked and the managed bean associated with prints a message on console using SOP.

I am having one question regarding triggering of background job in SAP using Events from Unix script. Is this possible? If so, can anyboy provide some sample code related to Unix script and how do we communicate to SAP from Unix system. Actually, here the backend of R/3 system is MSSQL. I am having a program in R/3 system which is scheduled as a background job based upon event trigger. I want to trigger that even from the unix script.

How to call gnuplot command from java

Hi there,
In our course, we are required to develop an GUI for gnuplot. In case you don't know about gnuplot, it's a plotting program and has lots of command. We want to use java and swing, but now we don't know how to call gnuplot command from java, or how to execute a shell command(script) from java.
By the way, since we need read in files with several columns of data and allow user to select a column, we want to use JTable. Is that reasonable?

I just downloaded and instaled firefox 4. Now, everytime I institute a command I get a po[p-up from Java script that tells me to uninstal set. I cannot go on untin I press ok and then I am good for one more command and it starts with the pop-up again.

I'm not even sure if this is an extension or plug-in and all I can tell you is what I have already stated. I can only make one command at a time and after each one I get a pop-up from Java script that says uninstal set. I must depress ok to move on, but only for one more command and it starts over again. This also happened when I tried to instal firefox 4 a couple months ago and I deleted the program and went back to an earlier version.

I am creating a workflow for HR, the person will request a basic pay change than, this will start the workflow. For this i am making a screen from where i need to triger the event for the workflow.

You can also use the FM SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT which is a little newer I think. (I don't have access to a system today so that may not be the exact name of the FM but if you search SE37 under SAPWAPIEVENT* you should find it.
the parameters will be the event name, and the object key. The object key will be the key field of the workflow object you are using.
For example if you were using the saled document object then the object key would be the sales document number. Carefull how you enter the object key, it can be a little tricky on whether or not you need the leading zeros in the input parameter.
