Followed video on resetting printer. Had paper jam message with no jam. Now the cartridge holder will not go to the far right. It moves freely to the left.

You may have been able to do this with the Property List Editor but is no longer a separate application for editing .plist files from XCode 4.

So what do I do? I exhaustively seach for away to get a hold of customer service, and all I can find are blogs about how HP costumer service sucks. Bear in mind that I did not put suck into my search engine. I put "HP QA and HP customer service" into google and what returned was BLOGS ABOUT HOW HP CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Those were the most relevant results in google. So I finally come to this forum and find a thread about..........you guessed it hp customer service sucking.....but oh no an HP moderator locked it down and provided a link to the page where one can obtain the very customer service that has been deemed insufficient by the very COMMUNITY that it is supposed to support. WE PAYED YOU PEOPLE! YOU ARE HERE FOR US NOT WE FOR YOU.

If you cannot contact the previous owner, then the iPhone is unusuable. There is no way past the activation lock without the Apple ID and password used to set up the lock, or the previous owner removing the device from his/her iCloud account.
If you purchased the iPhone though a service such as eBay that offers buyer protection, contact that service and file a complaint and get your money back. If you purchased the iPhone privately, then you've wasted your money.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

How to get actual user name without admin rights from AD?

I have set up WebLogic Portal 8.1.2 to point to Active Directory, using ActiveDirectoryAuthenticatorMBean I'm trying to retrieve the actual user name e.g. John English. Can someone give me some advise what is the proper function to use. I tried getUserDescription but it requires AD admin rights. I can't get admin rights! Is there any workarounds?

You might use GLOBAL_NAME, but the result could be not what you need. If you can login to DB server you can use "lsnrctl services" to see how the DB is registered with the listener. See this example :

When you are creating your nodes, do node.setUserObject(objectName);
and on right click, do something like this

How to get the iMac to recognize the right model of keyboard.

How does the iMac recognize the model of keyboard being used? Is there a setting to change in System Preferences that I am missing?
I have enjoyed using the nifty keyboard shortcuts printed on the keyboard that came with my iMac. However, the keyboard shortcuts no longer align with the functions physically printed on the keyboard. I have restored the keyboard shortcuts back to the default in Systems Preferences, but it's as if the iMac thinks there's a different keyboard attached.

If you mean those special keys across the top that double as F-keys, there is a setting in System Preferences Keyboard pane ( +Keyboard & Mouse+ pane for Leopard) Keyboard tab. I don't remember the exact wording, but it toggles using those keys as the special function keys or as standard F-keys. You may have it set to use them as standard F-keys. This setting is separate from +keyboard shortcuts+, so restoring them to default will probably not change that setting.

Ink cartridge holder not moving to allow me to install cartridges

I just unpacked my new printer and got through everything until it told me to insert ink. The cartridge holder will not move to the center. It appears to have a white plastic object in it that is keeping it from moving. I have used this same brand in the past and never had this problem. I don't know how to remove the object or get cartridge holder to move

Hi Katyj1,take a look at the video included in this document. It shows how to change cartridges. Take a look at the inside of the print in the video and it may help you remove the extra piece that should not be there.http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-6520-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5169038/model/5169040/document/c03355180/ If you cannot get the white plastic object out - I would recommend you return to the store where you purchased the printer. I have turned highlighting CSS settings from the code off and can't figure how to get it back?

I have done this a few times and don't know how to get it back or even the right term to google so thats why I am here.
You know where you select a div name or bit of code and it shows you it's settings under the CSS Properties.
Well mine don't change so I take it I have turned off some setting....can anyone tell me what I did and how to turn it back on for future reference.

I have the CSS Properties set to current.
When I used to select each div the properties would show for each one....I found that a fast way of working.
When I select a different Div in the code it doesn't change the values to that div.
See how I have the div activemainnavigation selected in the code and yet the summary for selection still shows the CSS properties of the footercredits div.

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

How to get my C309a printer to only use black ink cartridge?.

I have changed my ink cartridges 3 times. ALL of them. I haven't had the printer for that long. I only print TEXT so only BLACK INK. And not that much of it either. SO why does all of the cartridges get used up? I cannot find anything where you can adjust or fix this problem. HELP as I don't have the money to keep buying all this ink.

The Photosmart c309a does allow printing in black if a color ink is depleted - I have one here. What is your printer model?
HP and other printer manufacturers have different printer technologies for different needs.
Some have printheads built into the ink cartridges. These printers can typically print with one or more of the colors completely empty, or even with color or black (but not both) cartridges removed. The Deskjet 6980 series is an example.
Other printers have separate ink supplies and replaceable printheads. An example would be the Officejet 6500 printers. The printhead in these printers can be replaced if they are damaged by running the printhead with colors out. Some of these printers will allow printing with a color out, other will not. If the printer is run without ink in one or more colors the printer may be damaged, but the user may be able to recover without having to send the printer for service.
Other printers have permanent printheads. To run these without some ink in all the colors would risk causing damage to the printhead due to clogs, air ingested in the printheadvor burned out printhead firing resistors. The Photosmart 3310 series is an example of this type of printer. For printers with fixed printheads this could require service to get the printer to print properly again when the ink is finally replaced.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...
