How to get contents of a shuttle in event handler

Hi,
I'm trying to get the contents of the two list of a <shuttle> element.
The documentation of <shuttle> says, it can be accessed, after the form is committed, through "-shuttleName-:Leading:items". But when I try to get the contents in the event triggered by a submit button, there seems to be no content at all.
Any hints welcome,

Hi,
there is an error in the documentation of the shuttle tag. It should be "-shuttleName-:leading:items".
Then it works, except for some strange behavior:
- From an empty list no values can be retrieved.
- When filling a list with fixed options the values of the options are retrieved as expected.
- When using a bc4j:optionList inside the leading or trailing list of the shuttle an no items are moved before the form is submitted the only thing that can be retrieved from the list is ";".
- If some items are moved before submitting the values of the remaining options can be retrieved as normal.
Is this a bug?
I also checked the generated html-code. The "bug" starts there. When using fixed options, something like <input type="hidden" value="1;2;3;" name="myShuttle:leading:items"> is generated. When using a bc4j:optionList ther is only a ";" for value.

how to get the creation date of an event/meeting?When you use the calendar sdk to fetch a meeting there is an Icalendar(http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2445.txt) property called CREATED with the creation time in UTC.
For example:
- the booking cannot be accepted if the meeting start

meeting starting at 5:05PM
but not for a meeting starting at 4:55PM
You would want to implement these rules with with the sdk? That would implie that users connecting to the calendar server with any other client than the calendar sdk could still book these resources whenever they want.
Or you would want to go an validate all the meetings once they are already created?

Save the output to a file and open it in Word/Excel thats what documents attached to mail are made for...
If you really need the contents send them in the body or in a plain text attachment.

How to get content assist for Facelets with ICEFaces 1.8,RAD 7.5,+WAS6.1

We use RAD 7.5 and WAS 6 to run ICEFaces 1.8.
I added Facelets by following the instructions in ICEFaces "TimeZone Getting Started."
When I installed Facelets, I found I was missing el-ri-1.0.jar. So I googled the jar, found one from lord-knows-where, and stuck it in. It did the trick.
Facelets works great, but I don't have content assist for ui.
My jsp:root is:

Hi Soma,
that will not work. The measure is related to Activity id. The measure value per row is not value for LastActivityid.
I want to show the measure value for last activity id and not this activity id. So there is an indirect relationshipid. Ideally the path would be :
Activity id --> Figure out the last activity id for this activity id --> Get the measure value for last activity id..

How to get contents from field of a pdf form?

I am creating an application in which I have a table in pdf form and the table is bound to a node of the context of the view. Now I want to change value of one column of the table and the updated value is needed in a BAPI, which will be called on a submit button. But How to get this updated value. In WebDynpro JAVA it is done automatically by reflecting back the values to the context node. How to achieve this in WebDynpro ABAP. Please Help.

In my second try I used ISTORYLIST and ISTORYTHREADDATA. I could not get storythreadata. Then used ITEXTSTORYTHREAD and returned raw content.
Actually, I have to get all hyphenated words. But from the raw content I think not possible to get words. Please suggest.

You probably want to look at function module DYNP_VALUES_READ to allow you to read the values of the other screen fields during the F4 event... below is a simple demo of this - when you press F4 the value from the p_field is read and returned in the p_desc field.

I have Handling unit and Material in my program as an input, using these two fields i have to get corresponding storage unit and ware house number, to pick up transfer order.
Can anybody explain me who can we get Storage Unit and Warehouse Number from Handling Unit.
I know we can pull transfer order from table LTAK & LTAP using warehouse number.
But i dont understand how to get warehouse number from handling unit.
There is table LSUTO which has warehouse and Handling unit relation, but in our system there is not data maintained in that table. So, i was just wondering how can i get warehouse number from the given handling unit number.

Check out the handling unit item table VEPO. You got storage location(LGORT) in it.

Essentially, you want to use the AfterProperties property to access the changed field value.
E.g.

OIM 11g - How to get modified data on a reconciliation event

Hi,
We're running OIM 11.1.1.5.2 with Ad (9.1.1) , exchange ( 9.1.1.7), dbum (9.1.0.4) and dbat (9.1.0.5) connectors.
When we run reconciliation we can get the recon data on the event management tab of the advanced administration console, but, update succeded events show all fields mapped on the reconciliation with the new values only. For example, for AD, if an account on the target resource has its "TelephoneNumber" field updated, we can see the event, but, we cannot identify what was changed on that event was the telephone number, as the event shows all fields on the Ad account...
Our requirement is to inform th customer as soon as the reconciliation has ocurred for each particular updated account, in a manner that is fast and easy to understand.
We have the audit on OIM on Resource Form (XL.UserProfileAuditDataCollection) and we can see the upa tables being populated.
Now, the question is, what is the recommended or most used way to process the information on upa tables? Is there any ootb report that maybe we're missing that shows this info? Are there api's documented to work with audit data (i just couldn't find them)?
Having in consideration our requirement, I'm thinking on creating a new task for each process form to be triggered by "Reconciliation Update Succeeded" that executes a pl/sql to find events on upa tables related to the user and resource, then parse the generated xml and send an email with old and new values, but I want to be sure there's no ootb or simpler way to do it.

I think that we found an easier way though. By setting the system property XL.EnableExceptionReports to TRUE, the tables UPA_FORMS y UPA_FORMFIELDS get populated automatically.
This tables contain information of the fields that were modified an the reason (i.e. 'Reconciliation', 'API').
I have created a database job that executes a stored procedure that searches for new records on upa_ud_formfields and gets the resource name, resource key, field name, old and new values and then sends an email with all modified data to the corresponding administrators for each resource. I use an auxiliary table on a different schema to keep track of records already read on previous runnings of the job.
It takes sometime to get the info because we depend first on the running of the recon scheduled job, then the "issue audit message task" job, and finally our own job, but it works.

I have a big part code that I use many times in my applications. So I decided to put it in a static method to reuse the code. but my method calls functions module of HR module. but just after the declaration ( at the first line of the call function) it thows an exception. How do i exit a while loop using event handler

I have an event handler structure within which i run a while loop for a particular event. I would like to interrupt the execution of this while loop as soon as another event occurs, even if the while loop has not finished execution. I have tried so many ways, the best i could get is exiting one itteration after the new event occurs which is no good for me.

Instead of having a task while loop in an event case, put your task while loop in parallel with the loop surrounding the event structure. When the event which should start the task occurs, you can signal the start of the task while loop. You could use local variables of references to start/stop the loop when an event occurs. You could also use notifiers instead of variables to pass signals to start/stop the while loop. In general you should have a while loop for the event structure, and a parallel while loop to do the tasks. The parallel loop is controlled by variables or notifiers which are set in the event cases.
