How to Get Cursor Position in a Table

Hi Experts,
I have a table, with input fields. I have a button to add as many rows as I want. For the second column I have
a OVS. Now assume I have added 3 rows and I want to edit the first row again. So I click the first row and click
on the OVS selector, and finally when I select a value in the OVS it comes to the Third row, that is the row
with the Lead Selection. How do I get it to come in the first row?

Hi Murli,
If I understand your requirement correctly, you have table which has OVS for one field. If this problem is only because of leadselection you can disable the lead selection by setting selectionMode property of the table to none. Try it out once.
But I guess the problem might be different, you can try like this.
Create a child node for the table node with Cardinality 1...1 Singleton false
Create the attribute and impliment OVS and bind this to your second column of the table.

ALV-Grid - Get cursor position

I replaced the table control in my dynpro with a custom container and placed an ALV-Grid in there.
So, my problem is now to get the cursor position when the user double clicks at the text in a cell.
It´s important for me to know at which position at the text he double clicked.
e.g.:

The user clicks double between the 'e' and 's' at line 2 ('Test').
I need following information:
line 2
column 2
offset 3 (position, where the user clicked)
When I'm using the table control, it's no problem with
the ABAP-statement 'GET CURSOR' and property 'OFFSET',
but I didn't find a method with the same result for ALV-Grid.
Maybe you know a possibility?

After that use internal table in your program as per the requirement.

Hi guys,
i created a control table with the ti_master inside.
im trying to get the postion when double click, i already got the event, F2, with PICK,
my problem is that i dont know how to get the row and the column that was clicked, im using get cursor but im a little bit lost.
the name of my control table is USERS
the internal table name is TI_users
i use GET CURSOR USERS, but is an error
so i think is GET CURSOR TI_USERS., but i search on SY and i cant see the values.
any ideas?

GET CURSOR FIELD <f> [OFFSET <off>]

The additions to the GET CURSOR statement have the following functions:
OFFSET writes the cursor position within the screen element to the variable <off>.
LINE writes the line number of the table to the variable <lin> if the cursor is positioned in a

How to get the position of the stem in control valve using slider control in the front panel

I have created a calibration program for a control valve. Signal (4-20mA) is generated from labview using slider contorl which is given to the valve via DAQ(module 9265) and again the feedback signal from the valve is acquired using DAQ(module 9203).. . There is an input ISO/ISC(Increasing signal to open/ Increasing signal to close) in the front panel.
ISO would set the output to increase from (4-20)mA further opening the valve

I have doubt, how can i get the position of a stem

How to get the value from Advanced table

In the Advanced table have 2 LOV fields, I need LOV field value dynamically in the controller to validate the save button, if iam not selected any value in lov save button will not allow to save the data. In the table i am using 'Add another row'. How to get the lov field value in the process form request??? and how to do this requirement

1. You can specify required property on LOV field to "yes". For events where you wish to disable the client side validations, set the property disable client side validation to "true".
2. If above behavior is not what you are looking for, then you need to handle in AM and not CO.
a. Call an AM method from CO.
b. In that AM method, get handle of VO.
c. Iterate the VO Rows and check for your validation rules.

Hi Ecom,
To retrieve value on product detail page you have to develop your custom code in which you have to create BO, BOM, BEI and BEO to access Your master table data from ISA page.
You also need to create Custom RFC in which you pass porduct ID and retrieve related value from Master Table.
You can find example in ISA tutorial how to get value from Back-end via JCO.

How to get the script of a table or view in SQL Developer?

Dear friends/expert,
Could you tell me how to get the script for a view or a table easily in SQL Developer like pressing F4 in TOAD?
I found that I can press SHIFT+F4 for a view in SQL Developer and get the script of the view in Details Tab. But how to move the script to SQL worksheet to edit? It is very easy to do in TOAD.
And I didn't find a way to get the script for a table till now. Is there any way to do that?

1. Although the team might put a lot of effort in keeping track on the forum, a lot of posts still go by without answer.
2. If you have an enhancement request, log it at the announced SQL Developer Exchange, so others can vote to add weight on the issue. Be clear and detailed in the explanation.
3. Given the structure of the application, I guess it won't be easy (maybe impossible) to add the functionality you are asking. Do you have a suggestion on how to access the info?
4. If your request gets accepted, still another year or two may go by until the functionality gets added. For sure you'll be better off writing a user defined extension or report (querying DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL).
