HOW TO GET GOOD RES/LOW SIZE QUICKTIME - PLEASE HELP!
Hi,
I'm making music videos and am trying to make good quality Quicktimes for streaming on the web, with the lowest file size possible.
The lowest I can get a 4 minute video is around 30MB, but I checked out some videos at www.flatnosegeorge.com and they're good quality as well as small file sizes (around 10MB). How do they do this..?! By contrast one of my videos (at www.tokyodragons.com) is 30MB and doesn't look as good quality!
The settings I'm using are these:
Video Settings: Sorenson Video 3
Qual: High
Motion: 25 Frames
Key Frame Every: 250
Lomit Data Rate to: 1100
Sound Compressor: MPEG Audio 4
44,100
16 Bit
Stereo
Any ideas on how to get it to be good res at a lower file size..?

H.264 video codec?
Also, dropping the frame rate should massively effect filesize and you might not even notice the difference when viewing. If your original sequence is 25 fps try halving it to 12fps.

That's not going to help. That article is for moving photos from iOS device to computer, not for removing them. Additionally, photos synced via iTunes cannot be manually removed from the device. You have to use iTunes to 'unsync' them, as FoxFifth stated.
Camera Roll pictures are the only ones that can be imported from device to computer. Album folders cannot be moved from device to computer. -

How to get out of Recovery Mode? Please help!!
Hello all,
I have a Nomad Muvo^2 that is stuck in Reocvery Mode. Turns out that when i loaded recovery mode, i didn't really need it cuz it was just my computer that was messed up. Now with a new computer and me being able to access the E dri've for it and see its contents, i can't get out of Recovery Mode. When i turn my player on it reads this message:
Recovery Mode v.00
Then it lists the different options like PC Scandisk, etc...
How can i get out of it's
Could someone please help me?
Also could i use the Recovery Tool for it even though my specific type of player is not listed?

If i open up my Control Panel and change the "Standards and Formats" to "English(United States), the "Short date" field is now showing "7/9/2010" which is "M/d/yy". This matches the format obtained using (SimpleDateFormat) SimpleDateFormat.getDateInstance(DateFormat.SHORT). However, it still returns me the format "M/d/yy" after i made the following changes:
1. Click on the "Customize" button to open the "Customize Regional Options" dialog window.
2. Select the "Date" tab, from the "Short Date format" drop-down list, choose "MM/dd/yy"
How can I get the exact date format displayed at Regional Options now, which is "MM/dd/yy"? Please advice. -

image as LONG RAW and staffid as string.
How can i make the select statement to get the actual size for each image?
I have try to do " Select dbms_lob.getLength(image) as actualsize,staffid from record " ,
but it get error "ORA-00997:illegal use of LONG datatype"

user450549LONG RAW and BLOB are very different data types. Oracle has been suggesting for quite a while that folks migrate from LONG RAW to BLOB-- it's much easier to work with BLOB data than LONG RAW data...
How much data, roughly, do you have in these columns. If it's relatively small, you may be able to use UTL_RAW.LENGTH. If it's longer, though, I believe you have to write a program that reads all the data and calculates the length as you go, which is obviously not particularly efficient...

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

Ringtones are currently a one-time only download from the store, so they won't appear in the Purchased link for re-downloading. Are they in the Tones section of your computer's iTunes library - by default your library is stored under:
Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista: \Users\username\Music\iTunes
Windows 7 and Windows 8: \Users\username\My Music\iTunes
And if you have ringtones in your library then there should be a Tones Directory underneath that.
If they aren't there then do you have them on your backup of your downloads ?
If not, and they are still in the store, then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a re-download of them -

what do I do now ??If you are in Spain then you can only use the Spanish iTunes store - to be able to use, for example, the UK store you would need to be in the UK with a UK billing address and UK iTunes account. You can try requesting that the English language versions of books, films, etc be added to the Spanish store, but ultimately it's the content provider (e.g. the book publisher, film studio) that will have to grant Apple a license to sell them there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
