I have a directory called test inside i have only one .txt file. i dont know that file name.
Is it possible get the file name using PL/SQl code. ???
Using that .txt file i have to create a dynamic table.
If i have use *.txt also not working

How to get the file name from downloads folder with the applescript??

Hi All..
I am downloading an application to downloads folder, I need to install the same application after downloading programatically.
So how do I get the filename in runtime while downloading or after downloading from downloads folder with Applescript or Java?
Also my download URL link doesnot contain full name of the download file.

The best method is to use curl.
Other methods are not reliable, but can work, it depends on several factors (what the script does, what the user does).
Here is an example with the curl command:

How to get Sequence File Name ?

Hello everybody !!
I'm using TestStand 3.1 and i would like to get sequence file name. I've tried to use NameOf() function, but without success.
Of course, I've searched previous posts about the same question, but nothing works.
Is there someone able to tell me how to get sequence file name ?

first of all, the solution i will present only works for saved sequence files.
you got all information you need within TestStand itself, just browse for RunState.SequenceFile.Path. here you can find the filename. but the path of the file is also included in the string, so this is a part you have to get rid off.
you can use statements to extract the filename from the path. just search the string for the last occurence of "\\" (searchinreverse!) and then you can retrieve the right() part of the path. beware that right() needs the number of characters you want to extract, not the startindex!!

How to get the FILE COUNT from File directory

Hello,
i have to develop a scenario like, get the file count from source file directory and validate whether the file count is 5 or not. if 5 files exist i need to process those 5 files to DB tables. if file count is not equal to 5 then i need to send a mail to customer that files are missed at source directory. (subject as files were missed at source directory and in content i need to display the file names exist at source file directory. So that missed file will be generated by the customer based on this mail).
Could you please let me know how to get the count of files from source file directory. if it is possible only with UDF please provide the Java code

Do these files have some fixed names?
Can you try to use the option Advanced Selection For Source File to make XI pick all 5 files in one shot?

I need to get a backup of configuration file from AIR-WLC2112-K9 (7.0.98.0), checking the procedure (uploading configuration file) I need the name of the configuration file.
I try to get the file's name by command but I could not find any command.
How can I get the name of the configuration file so that I can complete the procedure of backup??

You just type whatever filename you want to save the config as, this is the name that will be created on the TFTP server. You do not have to specify a file name from the WLC itself..
if you get some popup saying the filename isn't valid, or can't find it, perhaps you are in the Download File section instead of the Upload File Section (download = restore, upload = backup)

File Adapter - how to get the file count from a folder

Hi All,
I have a requirement that have to poll a directory when the file count is reached to number N (ex:number of files avilable in folder is 5) otherwise it should wait and not pick any of the files. Is it possible to get the file count from a folder using file adapter ?? otherwise please suggest me an approach to achieve this requirement.

Go with the list files operation of file adapter it will gives you the number of files in the specified folder as you given. . - this step is already done.
When the number of files reaches your count startup your webservice that which can polls the files. . . - how can i acheive this?? Have to poll the directory and process the number files - please let me know, what could be added to the webservice which is being invoked after cheking file count from parent process.
The reason for the above question is - we cannot use ReadFile operation in second webservice because it will be automatically triggered when the file is avilable. Also SyncRead operation supports reading one file in b/w bpel process. Kindly explain me the implementation steps.

How to get the Users Name from the SSL certificate?

Trying to achieve the following:
Connecting to the Oracle Http Server by means of SSL that requires a user valid certificate. Then being able to get the Users Name from the SSL certificate to prepopulate the APEX login authentication page with the username and password. Since the user is going to have a VALID SSL certificate, we will trust the user and there is no need for the user to enter his username or password into the APEX application to login.
Does SSO do this or something else?

I have a requirement to call the business logic either in local server / external server.
Local / External server
The original / main request is made to the server from the client and from the server if the main request requires some resource (second request from server side) available in the external server then I need to make a URL connection. If the requested resource is the local resource then I need to by-pass the HTTP call. File Upload, how to get full file name

I have to get the complete file path when I use fileupload UI Element. but I am not able to achive this.
I used a File Upload UI, with filename property mapped to string variable filename and Data mapped to a binary variable filedata.
I tried to get the file name in below ways
1. wdContext.nodefile().currentfileelement.getfilename();
and
2. through modifiablebinary type also.
but in both cases I am getting only the file name, but not the complete path.
Is there any way that I can get the file path.
If I uplod a file in D drive (example.txt),
I am getting the file name as example.txt but I want to get it as D://example.txt

How to get music file name in itunes

OK I have some music files on pc side. wav files mostly. Some of them have proper id tags, some don't. When I try to import tagged ones to itunes I get only partial info preserved. So either I have to edit tags manually, which is tedious work, either I have to burn to cd and then import. The best is last way, but there is tremendous cd waste involved. Is there easier way to import files? Is there something like virtual cd for mac? I tried using disc utility, but nothing happens. Itunes doesn't recognize files...
There are verbatim 32x cd-rw too, has anyone any experience with them? Speed is good and would solve waste problem too.
