How to get rid of bookmarks junk

When I go to Show All Bookmarks, half the screen is black with Apple ads. I want a screen full of bookmarks. How do I get rid of the black half with ad?

Right click a blank part of the tab bar and go to '''Customize '''and then drag the toolbar and anything you don't want into that panel.
You can also drag stuff out of there.
Similarly, while the panel is open, you can rearrange the layout to your own liking.

The current version of the bookmarks star on the Navigation Toolbar consists of two buttons, one if the actual star button and the other is the drop marker that opens the drop-down list.

If the third link you posted (the link containing the word "majority") does not look like the following then you inadvertently installed adware.
That particular page should resemble the following:

I've searched the forums and tried all I can think of but cannot figure out:
1) How an "Open in Tabs" item got in my Bookmarks Menu -
When I go to Main Menu>Bookmarks, at the very bottom is a dividing line and below it, "Open In Tabs." Yet, when I Show All Bookmarks, I cannot find it anywhere. It's not a folder, it's not a link or site, its not in the Bookmarks Bar or the Bookmarks Menu - but it's there when I drop down from Main Menu>Bookmarks.
2) How to create my own "open in tabs" with only two bookmarks in it that I can set to open at starting up Safari.
Right now, when I click it, it tries to open everthing in my Bookmarks Menu.
Can anyone explain (how it got there and how to get rid of it) - and help me do what I'm trying to do (open two sites at startup)? Thanks.

I have to apologize, I accidently gave the link to Safari Enhancer when I mentioned Safari Extender.
Safari Enhancer and Safari Extender are two different programs with two different purposes.
Enhancer is a free standalone program to adjust some of the features in Safari that can not be adjusted using Safari's Preferences. It also alows you to make these changes without having to use the Terminal.
Extender is a shareware Safari plugin that adds its own items to the control-click contextual menus in Safari and includes menu items to work with tabs, mail, user agents, printing, and other functions.
Both are useful programs. I have and use each of them.

How to get rid of locked file

I have a file that's locked that I kept in a folder titled junk because five years ago I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. Just installed a new HD and tried to trash the folder and file. It's not working and now it's in two places because when I moved it it asked for name and password, then copied it into the trash and left it on the desktop. I know there must be a way to get rid of it. Secure Trash in Onyx didn't work. the file is nununu HFS+private data?

If trash can't delete because an item is busy, try restarting the computer.
If trash won't delete because an item is locked, try holding down the option key when emptying the trash.
Try booting to Safe Mode (hold down the shift key while booting, restart may take a long time but let it go), sometimes just doing that works. Restart normally.

Where did your friend find this software? I do see software out there called "myWebFace" that looks like junk, but not malware. It installs a browser toolbar, but it doesn't look like it works on a Mac except in Firefox. There's no mention I can find anywhere of it working in Safari. Trying to visit home.mywebface.com in Safari just gives me this:

On the iCloud Drive i have several App-folders i don't want. One for Scripteditor, one for Preview, iMovie etc.

There is a banner across the top of my phone with this memo which I don't want. I have deleted it from iTunes but cannot get it off the phone. Help!

The banner usually indicates that the memo is "Paused." If you go back into voice memos, touch the word "Done" beside the big red pause button, give it a name, then it will show in a list. Touch the memo in the list then touch the trash can icon that should appear.
