How to get rowcount in a query which is built on Infocube

Hi,
I would like to show rowcount for a report which is built on Infocube.
If i have a query on DSO, i would get Rowcount in the query designer but how can we get this same Rowcount if i create a query on Infocube.
Thanks in advance

If you want to just know the number of records without the need to offer this to users in a query, then use transaction LISTCUBE.
Make you "Field Selection for Output" via the button to tick the characteristics by which you want to count the number of entries and tick the box "Output number of hits" in the settings section of the selection screen, clear the "Max number of hits" field to make sure you get all rows in your result. On the result list the field counter shows the number of entries.
Best,
Ralf

  • How to get list of applied patches which applied using admrgpch

    How to get list of applied patches which applied using admrgpch

    You can't really get the individual patch IDs from a merged patch, unless you have the log file from the admrgpch run available.
    You can, however, get the list of bugs fixed by a merged patch, and those bug numbers sometimes, but not always, correspond to a patch ID. Keep in mind, though, that individual patches often contain entries for multiple bug numbers.
    Here's a query that I use to look at the contents of merged patches. It works best if the merged patches have been given unique names, instead of the default name 'merged' from admrgpch. If you run it and see that everything belongs to patch name 'merged,' you might want to change the selected column to ap.applied_patch_id instead of ap.patch_name.
    select ap.patch_name
    , ad.orig_patch_name
    , ad.driver_file_name
    , ad.merged_driver_flag
    , ad.merge_date
    , bug.bug_number
    , cp.patch_abstract
    from ad_applied_patches ap
    join ad_patch_drivers ad using (applied_patch_id)
    join ad_comprising_patches cp using (patch_driver_id)
    join ad_bugs bug using (bug_id)
    order by applied_patch_id;

  • How to get the details of Transports which are yet to be imported

    Hi Experts,
    Kindly let me know how to get the Transport request details which were not yet imported.
    For example:
    We have two client in development system 300 and 400, The transports which are created in 300 and imported to 400 (in SCC1).
    I need to know the details of transport requests related to 300 which are yet be to moved to 400.
    Where can i get these details.
    Thanks,
    Narasimhan Krishna

    Narasimhan,
    Take a closer look at Yves KERVADEC's approach. The issue here is that typically SCC1 is used to move transports which have not yet been closed.  You can see the details of any transport via se01/se09/se10, whether open or closed, but my interpretation of your question is that the customer wants to know which transports have been imported into the unit test client (400) via SCC1, which transports have been brought in by the transport system (after they were closed), and which transports have not yet been sent to either the unit test or QA system (i.e. are still open).
    My guess is that you are trying to track down why things work in the unit test client and not in the QA client. That is actually a different question with a different approach, but if that's what you really want to answer, go ahead and ask that question in a separate thread and you'll get a ton of techniques.
    Back to the question you actually asked: By writing a query, you can get a list of transports which have been brought in to the unit test client via SCC1. You can also get this information from SCC1 --> Goto --> Log Display. Then click All Transport Requests and doubleclick on the client. This will give you the import log of your unit test client with date/time stamp. Analysis of that data indicates to me that perhaps you may want to look at CC0_RSCCPROT03_ALV, but I'm not an ABAPer so the previously mentioned tables are probably better.
    Anyway, once you have a list of transports which have been imported, you can subtract out the ones that have been closed and transported downstream (and back into the unit test client.. your transport path does re-import the final version of the transports into the unit test client... right?). You can get that information from another query or you can get the list from STMS as suggested by Aparajit Banik.Then you'll have a list of transports which have been imported into the unit test client via SCC1 but have not yet been released and made it downstream. This will give you a "hit list" of transports which might be causing a mismatch between your unit test and QAS clients. You would then inspect them more closely with SE09/SE10/SE01 (I prefer se01, but different folks prefer different version of the transaction).
    Again, there are better ways to deal with client mismatches, but I'm answering the question you asked in case I misunderstood the underlying subtext.
    I hope this helps!

  • How to get value of a textfield which has been set as Renderd false.

    Hi all
    how to get value of a TEXTFIELD which has been set as Renderd false.
    i am getting the value of this textfield from an lov but dont want to show it to the user.
    getting error as:
    attribute xxxx required for view object yyyyy.
    pls help
    naveen

    You can create item inside your LOV region, set the item style to formValue. You can associate this to a View Object field. It can also act as mirror of any other text input field.
    FormValue can hold the value and will not be diaplyed to user. You can read value from it controller
    example
    OAFormValueBean orgValue = (OAFormValueBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("OrgIdFormVal");
    Or you can read it fro the VO associated with this form value.

    I would get free EasyFind (Spotlight will be a total waste of time), and search for caremefile and caremefile.info. If it comes up with anything, right-click and select move to trash, or just destroy. Since you didn't install anything, shouldn't be necessary to authenticate with the admin password before it will move to trash. Could also click on reveal in finder, which will allow you to see the actual location. Set it up as per the screenshot below.

    The JSF expresion is:
    #{bindings.<iteratorName>.estimatedRowCount}
    In JHeadstart, iterators are named after the group suffixed with "Iterator", so in the .vm you can use the folloqwing:
    #{bindings.${JHS.current.group.name}Iterator.estimatedRowCount}

  • How to  get formated value from query

    i get value from query use the follow method
    Object obj1 = dataAccess.getValue(i,j,DataMap.DATA_UNFORMATTED);
    Object obj1 = dataAccess.getValue(i,j,DataMap.DATA_FORMATTED);
    the first method retrun a value '1666.0',
    the second method return a value null
    but i want to get the value '1,666'.
    who can tell me how can get the formated value?

    Ahu,
    An implementation of DataAccess is not required to support all DataMap constants. For example, the OLAP-based Query object does not support DataMap.DATA_FORMATTED. To find out which DataMaps are supported for a particular implementation, you can call the DataDirector's getSupportedDataMap method.
    If you have an Crosstab instance, there is a way to get the formatted cell value, based upon the formatting rules associated with the Crosstab. Get the GridViewFormatManager reference from the Crosstab, and call its formatDataValue method to return a String representation of the formatted data value.
    Hope this helps,

    Doing something similar, using following code in a screenflow called from a global activity:

    ps.connectTo(url :Fuego.Server.directoryURL, user : "username", password : "password");
    InstanceFilter filter = ps.getFilterFor(viewId : "myHidView");
    filter.searchScope = SearchScope(participantScope : ParticipantScope.ALL, statusScope : StatusScope.ONLY_INPROCESS);
    // have tried the filter using both methods below
    //filter.setParametricValueTo(variable : "myvar", value : myDesiredVarValue);
    filter.addAttributeTo(variable : "myvar", comparator : Comparison.IS, value : myDesiredVarValue);

  • How to get info from a layer which is  applied  with styles  ?

    How to get info from a  layer  ?  such  as   (  apply  style  or  not , which  effect  have  applied  on  it  etc..)
    I  really  can't  solve  it , Who can hlep me..  By the way , I 'am  using  CS version.

    xtools/xlib/Styles.js has a set of functions for working with layer styles. I do not know if it works with CS. I wrote it several years ago for either CS or CS2. If this doesn't work, then nothing will. The script retrieves a layer's style by saving it to disk then parsing the file for the desired ActionDescriptor.
    There is a function at the bottom of the file that tests the Styles.js API.
    Styles.test = function() {  var doc = app.activeDocument;
      var layer0 = doc.artLayers[0];
      var gdesc = Styles.getLayerStyleDescriptor(doc, layer0);
