How to get the count of the entries in the table view

Hello experts,
I have got a requirement where i need to display the total number of entries present in the table view, since the result comprises of several pages. This requirement is even applicable for the filter options in the table view i.e., if i use a filter it should count the total number of entries that satisfy the filter criteria.

hi,
its simple,just place an input field in the layout and display the cpunt in that field.
for that do as below,
first in the layout of the page where you are giving tableview tab,in the next line give
<htmlb:inputField id="Count"
 value="<%=ln%>"
 disabled = 'X'/>
to display the count in that input field which is disabled.
and if i am mot wrong in the Initialization event, you are writing select query right to populate internal table.
after that write,
describe table it_mara lines ln.
and define this ln in page attributes as type i.

How to get metadata option list values derived from a table/view using SOAP

I am writing an ASP.NET application that replicates some of the features of the SCS search interface. I have looked at the GET_DOC_METADATA_INFO service and its SOAP output. It has a few missing pieces of information, like the option list values for a field if that fields values are derived from a separate table/view. Some of the fields I am dealing with also make use of Dynamic Control Lists (DCL). Is there a way to get the DCL info using SOAP? I did notice that the dOptionListKey element contains the name of the view from which the option list values will be derived. However, I cannot find a service that takes the view name as a parameter to return the option list values. I have looked in the services reference manual, but I have not had any luck finding what I am looking for.

How do I use the counter and digital signals of the 6071E while it is connected to SCXI modules?

I am contemplating using a PCI 6071E with SCXI. We have the boards (6071E), we would need the cable (I suppose SH1006868) and the SCXI system. I would like to know how would you access the counter and digital line capabilities of the board. I will be using a SCXI-1314 with a SCXI-1520 Module for strain measurements but will need to use the counter and digital lines of the board as well. Can this be done? If so, how and/or what else do I need?

How to get physical number of selected row on the screen.

We have block defined with Numbers of Records Displayed = 3. In the same time the data set contains 10 records. We would like to know how to get a number of row selected on the screen. i.e. in our case that the number will be always between 1 and 3 independent of the current row position in the data set.

You can calculate that number by subtracting :SYSTEM.CURSOR_RECORD and GET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('BLOCK', TOPMOST_RECORD)

As an example, I'm going to my email in safari, while I wait for it to load, I open an excel document, and the OS decides excel should be the front app, so I go back to safari so I can enter my login info, but halfway through my password the OS decides that excel is where I should finish typing my password.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Need to get total count of a column in the given query

I have the following query for which i need a total count of distinct concatenated_address. I am trying to use count(distinct adv.concatenated_address) in the below query but because of the group by it does not give me the expected result.
I am not reusing the same query, in my program again, to get the count as it would affect the performance. This query takes really long to execute and so is there a way to incorporate the count in this single query itself without having to use it twice.

It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

How to get absolute path of a form within the Forms 6i or 9i
For example
i am running a from "abc.fmx" from C:\myfolder directory
can i get the form path 'C:\myfolder' by calling any any function from "abc.fmb"

There is no direct call that will always work. What you need to do is call get_application_property(current_form). This may have the full path in it, depending on if that path was defined when the form was launched. If there is no path, then you need to use TOOL_ENV.GETVAR to read the Forms<nn>PATH and the ORACLEPATH, parse those out into individual directories and then check for the FMX in each.

Draw the shape which is to be knocked out (a line in the example) in a layer above the logo. The colour doesn't matter because it will be made invisible.
Double-click in the space to the right of the layer's name in Layers panel to open its Layer Style window where advanced blending can be modified.
Set Fill Opacity to zero and Knockout to "Deep" or "Shallow" depending on whether the knockout should be limited to a containing Group.

As it stands now the blog archive page lists the archives past the 4000px page length in what appears to be a long endless list.

Thanks Wyodor but that just adjusts the entries on the blog page....not the blog archive page.
On the blog archive page it's just a long endless list of entries. It appears that you simply cannot adjust this on the archive page. Additionally if the blog entries exceed 50 I have to start deleting older entries.
Overall iWeb has served my needs well but this issue *****. They could probably fix it with a software update if they wanted to.

If you can hide the status bar, it would be an option inside the app. I have one or two apps where that is an option but in most apps it is not.
